Mizune lore stuff to go along with my witch lore
#they’re kind of a seperate/more ancient species than witches to me#they’re kind of like#cells or a the remains of a supernova#playing with the idea of an ‘original’ mizune who was a fertility godess long ago that was slowly broken down over time by humanity until#it became a sort of unthinking anamolous mass#with the supernova metaphor it’s like the giant star in the middle(that being the old goddess) is sheddings its mass#is slowly dying and shedding its mass over millions of years and those turn into little stars#being the mizune#that can come together but can’t ever compare to the original#the giant kaiju mizune pictured is what happens if all the mizune come together#mizune sisters#soul eater#Mabaa made a deal with the godess long ago to watch after her children which is why the mizune are considered witches#it can’t communicate anymore but sometimes it has pulses of feeling that Mabaa (being essentially the witch counterpart to death) can#interpret
