PLATOWNIC/PLATOWNTHING RELATIONSHIP
A friendship that is all about the people involved doing WHATEVER THEY WANT! They look at the societal norms for friendships and go "Nah, we're gonna do our own thing". They may kiss, cuddle, or do anything they want, and STILL BE FRIENDS. Any kind of attraction may or may not be present, all is needed is for them to consider their relationship platonic. It also serves as a "FUCK YOU" to those who assume they're a romantic couple & force romanticism on them just because of the way they act.
QPRs (& adjacents) may identify with this term, though this was coined with regular friendships that do whatever they like in mind.
[Its name may be joke-ish, but coining this means a lot to me]
