Im thinking about combining my tfa fanfic with my hazbin one, here's a scene where Flora reacts to porter c powell getting arrested after he finally gets the karma he deserves.

News of the arrest of Porter C Powell and Henry Masterson spread like wildfire. On twitter, Former and current Sumdac employees started to speak about their experiences working with them. Videos of the brawl between Henry's enchanted suit and the Autobots were trending on mutlple websites. Citizens who knew them personally or from brief encounters were posting their own takes. Even gamers got in on the gossip train, with some posting videos of Henry'a past livestreams where he'd been hurling vicious words at children over... Overwatch.

At A Little Slice Of Paradise, Flora was setting up shop for the day. She stood on the ladder tending to the bamboo stalks while mumbling to herself. Nearby Lute was keeping watch. The former angel didn't concern herself with the foibles of humanity much, but she did pick up an uptick of anger coming from Mrs. Smith. After her daughters and Lute came back from the fight they explained everything that had happened.

To the surprise of absolutely no one, The Last Child of Cain was not happy that the fauxtrepreneur had nearly put her family in danger. She may not have inherited her father's willingness to kill, but she wasn't above inflicting her own brand of vengeful wrath. But she was going to it in the best way she knew how: following the rules.

And the rules dictated she sue the disco pants off of his ass!!

Flo had told her plans to her family late last night. Of course Charlie tried to talk her out of doing so, bless her heart she tried, but the Eden stubborness bubbled up to the surface.

Lute take a swig from her tea. It wasn't as good as heaven's, but it had to do. She bore jo injuries from last nights brawl, but her ego took a hit having to rely on giant alien robots not even form Earth! And worse she couldnt take it out on the traitor moth witch. There was no demon to blame this time except the blatantly human one whose outfits way last the expiration date.

"How much do you plan on suing him for?" The angel inquired.

"Enough to pay for Ava's trust fund," replied Flora. She didn't have one for Evan because she made her money selling her music and working at the hotel, but Ava was still too young for a job. Her only source of income were RJ's insurance and the poker winnings Flora had confiscated the other day - she gave Adam, Husk and Cherri quite an earful for giving her baby bird a gambling addiction. With Powell in trouble with the law it would only be a matter of time before lawsuits started rolling in and Flora wanted to join in.

Lute nodded. Back then she would've mocked the woman just for getting angry. 'Your dad's anger issues caused the first murder!'. But after hearing what Powell tried to do, and being personally reminded that Sinners were once very bad humans, she realized this went beyond a simple rejection of offerings. This man tried to ruin Flora's life for no real reason other than to show that he could. The hidden nasty side of Lute wanted to blame her for inviting such evil, but all she did was bake cookies. She had seen her pursue her dreams without relying on satanic magic or throwing tantrums. Her record was practically spotless! Weird parentage aside. Judging by the woman's grin of satisfaction at the news of his arrest, it was steadily dawning on the silverette that her client hated the greedy dirtbag as much as Lute herself hated demons.

For context Powell tried to cheat Miss Flo out of the building that would eventually become her dream bakery A Little Slice of Paradise. Thankfully he didn't suceeed and soon, his past misdeeds caught up with him, resulting in his businesses sinking, Henry getting arrested, and Flora laughing all the way to the bank! And if this sounds like overkill just remember: if Nanosec had to suffer de-aging for the crime of committing a bank robbery, then Powell should be able to get his just desserts for enabling a supervillain and kicking a little girl out into the streets.

Lute was reassigned as a guardian angel in my rewrite which is connected to my larger OC universe. She sticks to Flora out of a sense of duty to Adam because of her being his surviving Earthly granddaugher, and because Flora treats her with kindness which starts forming cracks in her judgemental worldviews. It's slow but the transformation is worth it.

On a side note, Ava learned how to play poker from Husk and managed to beat him, Cherri AND Adam in a real match. Her earnings were taken by Flora when she found out thanks to Vaggie's snitching. As of this writing Husk's bar is closed temporarily and Adam lost his Xbox privileges.
