♇ capricorn ascendant people usually have the essence of handsomeness, people see them to be someone who can be relaxed and chill. and they're usually people who are a pleasant to be around and can carry a conversation, and since they're saturnian ruled, there's this easy demand of respect they have when they enter the room. so people can easily see them to be leaders.
♇ they could identify themselves to be people who are hard-working and ambitious. they're usually people who work towards a goal, and even it may sound arrogant, they are people who likely identify themselves as successful, or as people who have been worked by life. like they owe a debt they're unaware of.
♇ thus, the impression they make on other people is being an individual who are wise, and sometimes others could deem them to be a know-it-all, but it's likely because they've been through a lot in life, they usually have the answer to things other people ask for. the impression they make on other people is a sense of inspiration, what they've achieved whether it be big or small influences other people to become better versions of themselves.
♇ their personality involves them being people who are laid-back, but sometimes they could have the negative trait of being someone who can be too negative or cynical. if they're not people who are confident within themselves, they could have the bad habit of second-guessing themselves and creating a stall in their own life. capricorn ascendant personality does involve them having authority over other people as well, feeling like its their responsibility to guide others.
♇ with capricorn's planetary ruler being saturn, this means they're people who usually have harsh trials and tribulations, and because of this, much capricorn ascendant people that i've done research on, or have come across, are actually very depressed people. though most people don't see it because they mainly see the side to them that is accomplished. being ruled by saturn means that they're people who usually have karma follow them like a shadow, either is be good karma or bad. most of the times they have to be more careful about how they treat other people in life, because saturn would usually punish them.
♇ i remember when someone said almost all capricorn ascendant naives look like handsome squidward, and they were not lying, like at all. and this isnt to poke fun of their appearance, its just that they just look very handsome! most of their faces are sharp, and chiselled and very features are finely placed on their face. most capricorn ascendant people grow into their features, and they're literally the epitome of fine wine. most of the women look very frail, like ariana grande, but overall, most of them have lean bodies, and usually come off as tall.
♇ when it comes to their personal ambition, like their sister sign, cancer. capricorn ascendant people want to make a foundation for themselves. a legacy themselves [and the people they love, only if they want] can fall back on. capricorn ascendant people strive to be the best people, normally because they feel like they're punished by life if they're not. people with this ascendant sign natives usually look for wealth, or a prize, like the bright light at the end of the tunnel, they believe that they shouldnt go through all these life troubles for no reason, as they should.
♇ their strengths and weaknesses involve them being someone who is business minded, being someone who is productive and practical. and due to this, people could either feel comforted in their presence or intimidated because they come off as people who have high expectations. on the other hand, they can be people who are pessimistic, mean and depressive, if they're unaware with how their behaviour impacts other people, they could have the habit of bringing the mood down.
♇ capricorn ascendant people project their personalities to usually display themselves as the bigger person. being entrepreneurs and being people who usually know what they're doing, and sometimes this causes them to come off as a know it all, but majority of the time their behaviour doesnt come from malicious intent, sometimes they like to use themselves as a guide map for other people. they can sometimes give advice when no one is asking for it.
♇ as it comes to how they view the world, much capricorn ascendant view the world as a burden, as a continuous life lesson. as saturn/capricorn are one of the main commodities in astrology that governs over karma, usually they feel like they cannot catch a break, and this does lead them into depressive cycles. the type of people to think life is playing a sick joke on them.
♇ with how they view themselves? linking to the previous paragraph, much capricorn ascendant natives feel like they're life's punching bag, and because they've been through so much, they're usually individuals who give up on being angry and just move on with life. for example, ariana grande's no tear left to cry song. capricorn in the ascendant remind me of druids, most of the ones i have met have a laid back energy and are usually prone to thinking that they're not good enough.
♇ lastly, with the impact on others, they're the type to not realise how they impact other people. they inspire others to chase the career they want, like a capricorn actress could inspire other people to want to chase the film scene, another example is kylie jenner, another capricorn ascendant and she had many people copy her aesthetic, the same could be said for ariana grande. but this could be because of their aquarius in the second house.

✨Astro notes💫
Some small tidbits of info for you today.
1. Placements that are closer to 0° are stronger. (With degree placements and aspect orbs)
2. Jupiter indicates where you will find your husband. This doesn’t have to be in the natal chart, check your astrocartography chart and look for your Jupiter DC line and also how Jupiter is aspected in the natal chart.
3. Inner planet retrogrades, 12th house planets, and intercepted signs/planets are indicators of past life karma.
4. Decans are subsections of the degrees in a certain placement (example: I am a Leo sun at 5° so I fall into the first decan 0°-10°. Second decan would be 11°-20°, third 21°-30°)
5. North node shows us our cosmic destiny. Following this placement can help lead to your highest purpose.
6. Your “part of fortune” shows the area where you can achieve the most success, material wealth, recognition, luck, and abundance.
7. A stellium is when three more planets occur in one sign or house in the natal chart.
8. A persona chart is a deep dive on a specific planetary energy within your chart. (Example, basically a natal chart from the perspective of a specific planet and not from the sun. Remember, we are heliocentric. Our planets revolve around the sun. So if I wanted to see things from a lunar-centric POV, I would look up my moon persona chart, and so on with the other planets.)
9. Astrocartography is the study of how your natal chart aligns with various energies on a map. If you are interested in a certain area and would like to know where would be the best places, or not the greatest places for your energy, check your astrocartography chart.
10. Synastry charts show how two individual energies work together, while a composite chart shows how the energies blend together. Both are important to look at for relationship astrology, just different energies. Think synastry as how your energy plays off of each other, and composite as the energy you have together.

how to find your house lords in your chart
explanation of house lords: house lords give us deeper insight than the sign itself in each house. there are 12 different house lords just like there’s 12 different houses. house lords are different than just the houses signs though
how to find them: in order to find a house lord you must first locate the sign of the specific house you want more insight on then locate the planet that rules that sign
planetary rulers for each sign: leo is ruled by the sun, cancer is ruled by the moon, virgo/gemini are ruled by mercury, libra/taurus are ruled by venus, aries/scorpio are ruled by mars, sagittarius/pisces are ruled by jupiter, capricorn/aquarius are ruled by saturn, aquarius is ruled by uranus as well in western astrology, pisces is ruled by neptune as well in western astrology, and scorpio is ruled by pluto as well in western astrology
examples: if your 7th house sign is aries then your 7th house ruler is mars, if your 5th house sign is sagittarius then your 5th house ruler is jupiter, if your 10th house sign is libra then your 10th house ruler is venus, etc

Nakshatras Observation
Tumblr media
Hey! How you're doing? I'm doing good. You know I make posts everyday, but yesterday I needed to rest and to take a pause of writing and making observations a little bit. This post for today is going to be fully about Vedic astrology and theme of this post are fixed stars, constellations or the nakshatras. You can all it however you want to, but I mostly call it nakshatras, 'cause it's more common term. Anyway, let's just begin!
First of all, what are nakshatras? Nakshatras are the fixed stars from the Universe which are divided from each other by degrees of the zodiac signs. Every zodiac sign has three nakshatras in it and each nakshatra means something else. For example, two nakshatras in Cancer mean different things, so two Cancer Moon natives with two different nakshatras may be different from each other. I forgot to mention in my previous post about Vedic astrology that it can be named as 'Jyotish' astrology and it's from India, so keep that in mind.
But nonetheless, let's continue. Each nakshatra has its own planetary ruler and these planets can be the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu (North Node of The Moon) and Ketu (South Node of The Moon). Also, each nakshatra has its own deity, mythology, yoni (sexual animal), symbol and its association with each fixed star (Antares, Regulus, Aldebaran, Betelgeuse, Spica etc.). There's overall 27 nakshatras and in the next picture, you can see the name of nakshatras, their order, in which sign they start at, in which sign they end at, their planetary ruler (lord) and their ruling deity.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Each nakshatra lasts 13 degrees and 20 minutes in every sign. To make things clearer, I'm going to make the order of nakshatras by its planetary rulers (lords).
Ketu (South Node of The Moon):
Ashwini: 0° 00' Aries - 13°20' Aries
Magha: 0° 00' Leo - 13° 20' Leo
Mula: 0° 00' Sagittarius - 13° 20' Sagittarius
Ketu is a shadow planet which represents the past life, spirituality and seeking the truth. Its nakshatras are placed at the very beginning of the fire signs, because they represent the end of the karma from previous life (water signs) and the activation of karma from this lifetime (fire signs).
Venus:
Bharani: 13° 20' Aries - 26° 40' Aries
Purva Phalguni: 13° 20' Leo - 26° 40' Leo
Purva Ashadha: 13° 20' Sagittarius - 26° 40' Sagittarius
Venus does represent love, raw femininity, sensuality, romance and pleasures. Its nakshatras are located at the center of the fire signs, which represent individuality. We have to learn to love ourself first, because seeking the love to others isn't real love and is more likely people pleasing.
The Sun:
Krittika: 26° 40' Aries - 10° 00' Taurus
Uttara Phalguni: 26° 40' Leo - 10° 00' Virgo
Uttara Ashadha: 26° 40' Sagittarius - 10° 00' Capricorn
The Sun represents our vitality, father, king, royalty, refined masculinity, purpose, self-expression etc. Its nakshatras are placed between the fire signs and the earth sign, making a balance between individuality and confidence with practicality and being down to earth.
The Moon:
Rohini: 10° 00' Taurus - 23° 20' Taurus
Hasta: 10° 00' Virgo - 23° 20' Virgo
Shravana: 10° 00' Capricorn - 23° 20' Capricorn
The Moon represents home, public, mind, refined femininity, mother, emotions, nurturing, nostalgia etc. and its nakshatras are located completely in earth signs. In order to become emotionally secure, we need to build up the stability in our home environment.
Mars:
Mrigashira: 23° 20' Taurus - 6° 40' Gemini
Chitra: 23° 20' Virgo - 6° 40' Libra
Dhanishta: 23° 20' Capricorn - 6° 40' Aquarius
Mars represents raw masculinity, courage, strength, having a muscular body and sex. Its nakshatras are located between the earth signs and the air signs, making a balance between the hard-working energy (earth signs) with having a time for hanging out with other people (air signs). People with the prominent Mars-ruled nakshatras are prone to have a mental health issues.
Rahu (North Node of The Moon):
Ardra: 6° 40' Gemini - 20° 00' Gemini
Swati: 6° 40' Libra - 20° 00' Libra
Shatabhisha: 6° 40' Aquarius - 20° 00' Aquarius
Rahu is also a shadow planet as Ketu and it represents future, internet, social medias, illusions, obsessions and overnight success. Its nakshatras are placed completely in the air signs which represents collectivity and masses of people. You have to be relatable and likeable to others if you want to succeed on the internet.
Jupiter:
Punarvasu: 20° 00' Gemini - 3° 20' Cancer
Vishakha: 20° 00' Libra - 3° 20' Scorpio
Purva Bhadrapada: 20° 00' Aquarius - 3° 20' Pisces
Jupiter does represent expansion, higher education, luck, sharing knowledge to others and its nakshatras are placed in the air signs and at the beginning stage of the water signs. People with the prominent Jupiter-ruled nakshatras may likely spread their knowledge to the group of people (air signs) and show their genuine side (water signs).
Saturn:
Pushya: 3° 20' Cancer - 16° 40' Cancer
Anuradha: 3° 20' Scorpio - 16° 40' Scorpio
Uttara Bhadrapada: 3° 20' Pisces - 16° 40' Pisces
Saturn represents discipline, karma, struggles, restrictions, career, longevity, masses of people and its nakshatras are located completely in water signs. This planet teaches us to become emotionally stable and to control our emotions.
Mercury:
Ashlesha: 16° 40' Cancer - 0° 00' Leo
Jyeshta: 16° 40' Scorpio - 0° 00' Sagittarius
Revati - 16° 40 Pisces - 0° 00' Aries
Mercury does represent our communication style, writing style, mental stimulation etc. Its nakshatras begin at the center of the water signs and end at the very end of the water signs. This can mean that communication might be transformative, even manipulative. It can also show the death and the end of our karma from this current lifetime.
P.S. Pubba is an abbreviation of Purva Phalguni word. Since I have the Moon in Purva Phalguni nakshatra in Leo, I chose to call my username as @pubbamoon.
Tumblr media
So, that could be everything for today. It was pretty interesting to make this kind of post, haha. Hope you enjoyed it and learned something new. See you!
Best regards,
Paky McGee

Moon in the Houses and What Your Mind has Adjusted To
Tumblr media
Despite the Moon being such a basic placement in Astrology, it is still widely misunderstood and not taken for the role that it really plays in our charts. Luckily, Vedic Astrology gives us a better insight into the Moon's actual functioning, placing its importance as the number one placement to analyse when it comes to how the chart functions.
The Moon is the first thing to analyse in a chart because it is the basic mode of operation that we will use to exercise all of our planets. The Moon in a given house shows more precisely how our basic consciousness has adapted to the external world, based on the energies we received during our prime years of infancy. We are also born with individual karmas at the soul level that collide with our environment. As a result , the Moon becomes our subjective response to an equally subjective environmental pressure.
The Moon in Western Astrology is often confused with the Sun. However, the Moon is present with us our entire life and develops very early on. The Sun is our identity in the context of our immortal soul reflected in our mortal achievements in a given incarnation. That takes years to build up, and most of us don't really know what we're doing and what we are going towards until our so called mid-life crisis. That is why the classic Vedics start judging the Sun's performance in no earlier than our early 50s. The Moon, however, is like a filter that we approach the entirety of our life experience with, and so it appears the moment we ground into our body on this Earth and develop any human consciousness at all. Classic Vedic theory says the Moon is literally our mind, the Sun is our Soul's Earthly kingdom.
Naturally, planetary aspects will influence the state of the Moon and change its behavior in any given house. These aspects will show basic influences to our mind and ego, our knee-jerk reactions so to speak.
The Moon also has the unique quality of having no enemies and being malleable in nature. As a result, it is the most prone to planetary influences, for better or for worse. It becomes a malefic if it's conjunct with any malefic influence. The moon is a benefic if conjunct with a benefic planet. Phases of the Moon also have a lot to do with its nature. A person born on a Full Moon or close to it will naturally be more energetically abundant than someone born on a New Moon.
The Moon will naturally produce and provide if conjunct Mercury, Venus or Jupiter. The best conjunction for the Moon is Jupiter as these planets are mutually friendly. Venus and Mercury don't like the Moon, so while it's a benefic conjunction for the Moon itself, these other planets suffer as a result of Moon's presence, viewing it as a burden.
The Moon will automatically have to develop its character through struggle if conjunct Sun, Mars, Saturn, Rahu or Ketu. Sun, contrary to what pop astrology sources tell you, is a malefic, as it rules authority and burning away disobedience. When too close, it shames the Moon, and so does Saturn, another authority figure of a different kind. Rahu and Ketu give extreme biases in thinking to the Moon, making it unstable and lacking in perspective and objectivity. The "best" malefic for the Moon is Mars, as the two are friendly and give the native a goal oriented nature, if the conjunction is without further affliction. It is most easy to channel this conjunction productively as it busies itself turning challenge into an opportunity.
Moon in the 1st house represents the mind, that has grounded securely into a sense of self. Anything in the 1st house has a very strong influence on our sense of identity, as it is directly in line with the life karma of our Ascendant. As a result, even if one is not a spiritual person, they will be thinking strongly about the meaning of their life and their personal destiny. Since the mind grounds so surely in the self, there is a certain egoism and self interest present, and one may easily attract people's attention and support regardless, but also suffer blame for one's action.
Moon in the 2nd house gives the mind a pragmatic nature. They will take action based on where their interest is placed in a result of that action. They will root into what they perceive as their support system with unrelenting stubbornness, which can make them inflexible. However, if the Moon doesn't suffer from afflictions, they are also an excellent support system to others themselves, associating their sense of self with being a wellspring of stable nourishment.
Moon in the 3rd house is said to be the peak placement for the Moon. The reason for that is that the Moon here becomes very proactive. One's mind is adjusted naturally to making the most out of every day by creating the life they want from themselves through their own power and effort. As a result, this is someone who can go very far, because they know what they want and don't hesitate to get it. It results in peak productivity in life, whatever that means personally for the native, in a well oriented direction decided by the inner compass of one's happiness and achievement. Malefic influence can make it ruthless, but the good gains will still be there.
Moon in the 4th house is another placement where the moon feels very comfortable, as the mind is naturally attached to one's emotional idea of personal happiness and personal creativity. One is fundamentally synchronised with the landscape of their heart. One's mind basically exists to make one happy, which makes for a very balanced mental health perspective. If afflicted however, it can lead to self delusion, one telling themselves whatever they want to believe, choosing to think whatever is comfortable even if it loses all realism. This placement needs a serious reality check to compliment it, but has a lot of potential.
Moon in the 5th house is another peak of personal activity, where the mind attaches to going forward with one's personal ideas and sharing them with loved ones. The expression of personal identity here is strong and leads to creativity, but also to selfishness. This can be a mind that is used to having its own way and bossing people around if afflicted, yet they still manage to take everything personally. External self expression shines its light on others if it flows well here, but can become a detriment if not paired with self reflection.
Moon in the 6th house is a difficult point, as here the mind thrives on competition and constant problem solving. That can make them very successful in their goals, but can give a life full of stress and pressure if the Moon is afflicted. Afflictions also can result in an illusion of productivity, while in reality one gets nowhere with their efforts, but simply wants to feel like they're doing something even if it has no use. However, if strong that Moon is someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty performing confrontational tasks that make other people uncomfortable and their practical streak can be unmatched. It is one of the worst placements for one's peace of mind however, as they are inherently unable to relax, since the mind finds peace in conflict and problem solving. Doing physical tasks or working out to release excess energy is a must.
Moon in the 7th house is an energetic struggle, as here the Moon is the lowest energetically. The mind can be lethargic and clingy, as is fundamentally adapted to external companionship and serving their internal polar opposite and they can lack self awareness. Independence here is a struggle too, and if afflicted this Moon can make the mind treat people instrumentally for their own peace of mind. This Moon thrives in productive partnerships and finds its bliss over time in those, as they mature and develop with age.
Moon in the 8th house is said to be the lowest point of the Moon. The reason for that is that the 8th house is a point of stagnation and sorting out between what is true and not. It's the point of the highest pressure in the zodiac, which seeks for extreme release. As a result, the mind here is tormented, constantly in motion trying to let go of some burden and find something of value. If that is well placed, it can be excellent for goal setting, handling business and high pressure situations that come with success, if Jupiter helps this moon they can have a strong gift for speculation and being able to predict business tendencies. Think of a Christian Grey personality profile. If afflicted, there is a lack of clarity on what to do and what is valuable and important in one's life, and in situations in general, which leads to blundering, stagnation and serious personal losses, as one doesn't value what is good for one's happiness or a productive contribution, until they suffer a loss of it and see results by contrast, at which point it is too late. Turning to spirituality and meditation for clarity of mind and direction is necessary.
Moon in the 9th house makes for a mental adaptation to expansion, from any life situation, happy or painful. This is a mind that was taught to learn something from every experience, good or bad, and share that wisdom with others. That can be both theoretical and practical, depending on how the Moon is aspected. As a result, they grow into a natural teacher or guide, because they have an ability to process everything, both positive and negative, into a lesson through apt conclusions. The capacity for universalizing here is very powerful, as they turn even the most personal experiences into a parable, being able to see them through the lenses of emotional pattern recognition and fluidly turning them into conclusions. Once they get the opportunity to adapt their experience and talents into a successful day to day routine, they give a lot to the world.
Moon in the 10th house creates a native who very much can feel like a public property. Their personal desire is linked strictly to social contribution and having a practical daily schedule. The mind is attuned to routines and social involvement, more for the sake of order than personal fulfillment, making this a difficult place for the Moon as it can become a very impersonal placement of someone who "doesn't have a life". In reality, the mind here doesn't know what to do with one's personal life as they feel like their public life is their personal life, and if they establish any intimacy, it will be in that context. The mind naturally cares more about their image then the raw personal truth.
Moon in the 11th house gives a mind adapted to an extremely extroverted, goal oriented nature. This can be the kid that was always taken to several different extracurricular activities after school by their parents. As the 11th house is the height of Jupiter, there is an internal pressure for the height of achievement. Personal goals here always involve large scale contributions and social climbing in the context of social success. If the moon is in a good condition, it will make the native versatile and successful, if it suffers any afflictions it will create a feeling of extreme pressure and struggle with patience necessary to achieve one's goals.
Moon in the 12th house is a placement of a native whose mind naturally adapts to extreme sensitivity to one's environment and gives the ability to be in tune with the ebbs and flows of the entire universe. There is an inherent openness and a tendency to automatically create space for the energy for other people's vibrations. While it is a good and healing placement for the environment, it can be hard for the native itself. They can feel lost within themselves, not knowing how to self define and they tend to bend over backwards in front of others, not necessarily out of genuine caring but because they're only at peace when they make others feel good. It happens because due to their upbringing they were trained to find fulfillment in everything but their own selves. Meditation, spirituality and extreme boundaries are necessary for them to find any peace of mind, as their mind can't tolerate anything external that pollutes their energy field.

Few Indicators of Past Life Partners in Birth Chart 😭❤
For Men- Venus in conjunction or aspected by 1H, 5H or 9H lords OR Venus present in the stars ruled by 1H, 5H or 9H lord.
For Women- Mars in conjunction or aspected by 1H,5H or 9H lords OR Mars present in the stars ruled by 1H, 5H or 9H lord.
For Men- Man's jupiter and woman's venus in the same house. Ex.: Man's jupiter in Taurus and woman's venus in Taurus.
For Women- Woman's venus and man's mars in the same house. Ex.: Woman's venus in Aries and man's mars in Aries.
What if a couple have this in their charts? 💕
Usually people having this in their charts get married late than their peers and may have a dating history. They are unsatisfied in their past relationships and can breakup due to petty reasons as they are destined to have their past lifetime partner in this life too. These people attained lots of good karma from their past life married life. If you have this with your partner, go give them a kiss rn, because how beautiful it is, to be blessed with the same past life partner. 😭💖
When they meet their spouse, they will feel intense attraction, a need to protect them and an inexplicable comfort zone very soon. Even if they have an afflicted 7H or 7H lord, these people will never want to end their relationship. They may go through many trials and sufferings if they have bad planetary placements that disrupts harmony in a wedlock, but ultimately they will never end up in divorce. 😌❤❤
What are the Aspects of each planet? (For your reference) 💙
Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus- Aspects 7H from it's placement
Mars- Aspects 4H, 7H and 8H from it's placement
Jupiter- Aspects 5H, 7H and 9H from it's position
Saturn- Aspects 3H, 7H and 10H from it's position
Ex. If a female has Pisces ascendant, her mars is in cancer, Her 5H is Cancer and 5H lord is moon, Now her moon is placed in Capricorn. Her 5H lord moon in capricorn now aspects her mars in cancer by his 7H aspect. Do not depend on the aspects table given in chart, it can be wrong or misleading in many websites, that's why I've given this here, so that you can read and interpret by yourself.

- there is no perfect synastry. synastry is relative to the people involved; it informs us about a dynamic, but doesn’t in and of itself make a statement about the longevity, success, or even health of a relationship. you’re much better off asking a horary astrologer a specific outcome based questions about a certain relationship to get a definitive answer. a “successful” (using that word relatively, because what constitutes success differs greatly between people) relationship largely depends on two people and their karma. synastry just informs a dynamic.
- conjunctions are not positive aspects to have. ancient astrologers didn’t even consider the conjunction an aspect. it’s a blending of energy, and the “goodness” you get from it depends on the planets involved.
for example, moon conjunct mercury can be nice for telepathy but I’ve seen it play out where the moon person doesn’t let the mercury person get a word in where they’re talking.
if venus is conjunct mercury, that’s positive because venus is a benefic, not because the the conjunction itself is positive. even venus/mercury squares can make for a pleasant dynamic because VENUS as a planetary archetype promotes harmony no matter what aspect she’s in. conversely, venus conjunct saturn would be more difficult because Venus’s pleasantness is inextricably tied to Saturn’s cold, dry nature, which over time can weight her down. especially if the Saturn person is a night chart. which leads me to my next point.
- SECT MATTERS. whether one person is a day chart or a night chart matters tremendously. For people with day charts (you were born during the day, or your sun falls in houses 7-12 in the whole sign house system) your most positive planets are the sun, jupiter, and saturn. for people with night charts (you were born during the night, or your sun falls in houses 1-6 in the whole signs house system) the moon, venus, and mars are your most positive planets. mars is more troublesome in a day chart, saturn is less troublesome and more helpful. saturn is more troublesome in a night chart, mars is less troublesome and more productive.
venus conjunct saturn in the synastry where the saturn person is a night chart is going to be way more difficult than if it was a day chart. venus trine jupiter in a chart where the jupiter person is a day chart is going to be felt more positively than if they were a night chart.
- which leads me to my next point. i like venus/mars aspects waaay better when the two people are both night charts, because venus and mars are both part of the night sect. i find them hotter, there’s less bickering and more passion. yes, even the squares and oppositions. in fact i prefer them.
- a bunch of trines and sextiles in synastry are boring, and i’d even go as far as saying those are the real synastry red flags. oppositions and squares bring tension, but tension is a part of growth and life. tension sparks creativity. think about the sexual tension it takes for two people to have sex and create a child. think about how the moon cycle is brought to manifestation via squares and oppositions. we have our new moon (conjunction) first quarter moon (square) so on and so forth until we reach the full moon (opposition) where things come to fruition.
trines and sextiles are nice and do have their value and place, but they’re just that. nice. not dynamic. i barely felt it when pluto trined my sun, but when it squared my mars it spurred me to action for the better. souls need growth and that’s what the hard aspects provide.
- someone’s planet conjunct your angles isn’t necessarily good, just loud.
lemme say it again: SOMEONE’S PLANET CONJUNCTING YOUR ANGLES ISN’T NECESSARILY GOOD, JUST LOUD. that goes for the degrees of the AC, IC, DC, and MC. it can signify them being an important figure in your life, but important doesn’t always mean good, or lasting. just prominent. the angular houses (1, 4, 7, 10) are the anchors of the chart with the most important life themes, so planets here are LOUD, but loud doesn’t mean GOOD.
case in point: sophie turner and joe jonas. her venus sits right on his descendant. you’d think that would mean soulmate, true love, and it very well was for them at some point, but now it’s nasty divorce in the press (the descendant also being the place of opposition, and things seen in the public)
- synastry also isn’t static. what worked and was lovely one day could suffocate you tomorrow depending on your own souls growth. venus conjunct saturn can mean lovely stability and dependability between you two one day, and then three years later it means you feel like your partner gets colder and colder towards you, dampening your spark.
- saturn square venus in synastry does not work. spare yourself the heartache, it’s the most blatant omen of cosmic NO I’ve ever seen and experienced. the universe does not want y’all together.
- the 8th house is not about sex. I see this so much on tumblr and it makes me want to SCREAM. the 8th house is NOT. ABOUT. SEX. it is about the consequences of merging with someone. in the 8th house you take on their benefits and their baggage. the 8th house in the ancient tradition was associated with the esteem of others, i.e being beholden to what other people have and can provide you with. speaking as an 8th house venus myself, that isn’t always fun. it’s also a place associated with death, anxiety, and avoiding the inevitable. the 5th and even 7th house are much better places to look for sex. modern astrology has such a misconstrued view of the 8th house as some deep, intense sexy soul bearing place and that’s not what it is at all. i PROMISE you that if you become competent enough you’ll find intensity in some other aspect or placement in your synastry.
- 12th HOUSE SYNASTRY IS NOT SOULMATE SYNASTRY. I don’t even like speaking in absolute terms, I know a happily married couple where her aries stellium falls into his 12th (trining his leo venus, but i digress) but it’s more so the romanticizing of the 12th that drives me crazy. the 12th house is a place of mental anguish, suffering, isolation, and losing yourself. it is called the joy of Saturn, the greater evil-doer. it is a place of hidden enemies, and people who secretly sabotage you. if the ruler of the 7th is in the 12th, the partner can undermine you in some way. if the fourth house ruler is in the 12th, your parents or family could keep some secret from you. it is considered a bad house. the ancients called it “bad spirit” for a reason. tread carefully.
- sign affinity works! when all else fails keep it simple! you’re going to get along with people whose moon sign is in the same element as yours. if you’re a taurus venus, you just “get” other taurus placements, regardless of the house it falls in in your natal chart.
- 11th house synastry is good, and it’s not just cause you’d feel friendly feelings towards each other or whatever. the 11th house is called “good spirit” in ancient astrology, it’s the joy of jupiter. planets here are uplifting and supportive, so someone else’s planets falling here would have a similar effect. it’s warm. i especially like the moon here in synastry.
- nothing beats 7th house synastry. I don’t care, it’s the true house of merging and intimacy and closeness. the seventh house is where you find close bonds. 1st and 5th house are close second and thirds.
- don’t sleep on love asteroids! don’t make them the end all be all, planets will always tell the story best, but i’m currently obsessed with them at the moment. i could make a whole separate post on them.
- juno trines/squares/oppositions >>> juno conjunctions. i’ve seen the trines function much better than the conjunctions. goes back to my point about conjunctions being neutral. i have literally seen venus conjunct juno and saturn conjunct juno relationships fall apart while saturn trine juno, or jupiter square juno relationships thrive over years.
- the asteroid person is the one who feels it in synastry. they play out the myth/meaning through the planet person. this is what i’ve seen on an overarching level. if someone’s cupido conjuncts one of your planets, they have a crush/infatuation and you feel it, and may or may not reciprocate.
i think i’ll cap it here!

The second extremely important house for a woman, which is the 7th house. This house is the house of contracts, agreements, marriage, business, and partnerships. If a woman does not have a strong seventh house, she can never succeed in Occultism. This is because after she learns to discriminate between what she needs to grow spiritually, the next step is to find a suitable consort. Once this consort is found, she must be ironclad in her agreement to respond to that source of Yang alone. The 7th house is connected to one's promises and chastity as well. Chastity does not mean never having sex, it simply means the correct use of sexual energy. Chastity, along with fear of God, is the gateway of to all wisdom. Chastity is not moral in nature as some believe, but has an energetic reality. If a man or woman cannot commit and restrict off other influences, no growth can ever occur, as it is like trying to fill up a leaky bucket. When we say something is pure, it means without other influence. When you say you want milk, you would prefer "pure milk". Milk mixed with orange juice destroys the effect of milk completely. All men are ultimately concentrations of a particular planetary ray. When a woman chooses her man, if she is chaste, becomes one pure brilliant color and planetary ray. The woman married to an adept of Venus becomes a Vibrant Green, like the Sephira Netzach or the playful, pleasurable, and Mercurial Venus (in the Mercury-ruled nakshatra of Revati) in which she is exalted in. (Budha or Mercury in Jyotish is an emerald green). She then masters all things in regards to that sphere: beauty, inspiring others, and becoming refined and elegant, and helps humanity out of that sphere. Each man is, however, an Island all to himself, and even though he is under a specific planetary energy he is totally unique. The Ray or Planet a man is under is the one which he first emanated from when he initially separated from the creator. To liberate himself, he must return back to where he began, but consciously and possessing total free will, which he did not have when he separated initially. He returns back to his origins enlightened and helps humanity out of this island or base. When we speak of celestial lineages in Jyotish, such as Ashleesha corresponding to the sage Vashishta, we mean that he is the progenitor of the spiritual beings, which emanated from this constellation at the beginning of creation. For this reason, understanding one's Celestial Lineage is important, as we ultimately return back to it. Out of these Seven Lineages, we were first born into the realm of a single nakshatra under that Progenitor, and also return to that world and realm, which is a complete world in itself. This is why a woman must choose a man based on her aspiration and what she appreciates in a man. Just like how women take on a man's surname, and were given a dowry in older cultures to send her off, a woman becomes part of the house or lineage of the man she chooses. If she were to choose a man who embodies Mercury, she would become incredibly skillful, articulate, and excel at any of the 64 arts, and so on and so forth. She must understand that if she agrees to become receptive to him and "marry" him, he is forced to give her all the energy she ever needs, and if he doesn't he breaks his end of the deal. This is why she must choose wisely and discriminate so as not to waste her time watching a man ruin himself who is not able to radiate energy to her endlessly. On the male end, he must choose to "take on" only what his Karma allows, as there are many women embodying the evil aspect of the Goddess who wish to drain, scatter, and destroy him.

NARA CHAKRA: Your body is the map to your universe.
I am NOT a healthcare provider or professional and this post is just for sharing astrological knowledge. It should not be used as medical knowledge or suggestion! If you have health concerns or issues please consult your medical professional.
Your inner realm is the subconscious part of your personal universe, your body is the external manifestation of that internal world. Nara Chakra is a roadmap, if you will, of the nakshatras that rule your body. It all starts with the head, which is your moon nakshatra, then the next nakshatra is your forehead, then eyebrows is the next nakshatra, then eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, ears, face and so forth. Each of your body parts is ruled by a specific nakshatra. Because of this your full incarnated karma is fully realized in your physical body. You can learn which parts of your body are or may be affected as certain planetary transits occur, especially with effects to your mars or ascendant nakshatras. You will most likely see some significance to that related body part if it is effected by a transit. An example would be, your moon is in Mrigashira, so Mrigashira rules your head, suddenly you begin getting head aches and having strange forgetfulness or confusion. You look at your personal planetary transits and see that your moon is conjunct sun in Mrigashira. This would make sense as sun rules the head and can cause ailments to the head. Especially with your personal planets, the effects can vary!
Nara Chakra can also show you the possible ailments or sicknesses you’re most prone to. Having mars in certain nakshatras can bring inflammation, having moon in certain planetary body parts can cause anxiety and blood related issues, venus can cause viral infections through the fluids or orifaces, etc. each planet can effect your body in some way if it is harshly aspected or considering your mahadasha at the time as well.
To understand your Nara Chakra best is to really study where each planet and nakshatra falls on your body. And if you see any illness arrive or possible issues you should m first: go to your health care provider (that should be the first priority) and then to learn the effects of the planet on your personal nakshatras.
Here is an example of how the nakshatras fall with your moon nakshatra as the head and so on.

Timing: Waning Moon, preferably during the witching hour (3 AM) or when the moon is high in the sky.
Instructions:
Prepare the Space: Cast a circle of protection, cleansing the area with sage or incense.
Write the Intent: On the paper, write the name of the person who sent the negativity. Below the name, write a clear and concise statement of intent: "May all harm sent to me be returned threefold."
Charge the Candle: Anoint the candle with black salt, visualizing the negative energy being absorbed into the wax.
Light the Candle: As you light the candle, recite the following incantation:
“Dark flame, hear my plea, Draw the harm back, wild and free. Let the sender feel the sting, As justice’s dark wings take flight and sing.”
Burn the Paper: Fold the paper with the intent written on it and burn it over the candle flame. As the paper burns, visualize the negative energy being consumed by the fire.
Focus the Intent: Gaze into the flame, focusing your energy on the intent. Visualize the negative energy being redirected back to its source.
Note: Cast under the following planetary influences for best effects:
Mars: Associated with energy, aggression, and protection. A Mars-heavy time could amplify the spell's power.
Saturn: Ruling boundaries and karma. A Saturnian influence can ensure that the spell's effects are just and balanced.

About planetary maturity
In Vedic astrology, the concept of planetary maturity, or Graha Pakvata (sansk.), refers to the specific age at which each of the nine planets reaches its full potential and begins to influence the native's life with greater clarity and strength. Once a planet attains maturity, it becomes more capable of interacting productively with other natal and transit planets. Such planets are considered "wiser", and better equipped to counter malefic influences and mitigate negative effects.
It is important to note that changes after a planet matures do not happen suddenly. These changes unfold gradually, over the course of a year or even several years, after the planet reaches its full potential. However, if a planet is particularly significant in a natal chart, its mature effects will be more noticeable, both physically and emotionally.
Traditionally, the most important planets to consider are:
The Moon and the ruler of the Moon
Lagnesha (the ruler of the Ascendant, or Lagna)
Planets occupying the 1st house (where Lagna is located)
Important note: If, say, two planets are in conjunction and are located within 15 degrees of each other, the planet that matures earlier will be held back until the second reaches its maturity age as well. For instance, if Venus and Rahu are within a 15-degree orb in a chart, even if Venus is strong and well-placed, the individual may still face unstable relationships or a reluctance to commit to marital life until Rahu matures at the age of 41-42 (the maturity ages for each planet and the lunar nodes are listed below).
Estimated maturity ages of the planets according to Jyotish:
Jupiter: 16 years — by 16, a person begins to understand moral principles, distinguish between good and bad, and typically get a secondary school education. Jupiter, being the planet of expansion and wisdom, fosters further education and a deeper understanding of life. By this age, a person is no longer a child.
Sun: 22 years — Following Jupiter's maturity, the Sun reaches maturity at 22, bringing self-awareness and a sense of ego and individuality. People at this age begin to seek their place in society and explore their life purpose.
Moon: 24 years — When the Moon matures, emotions become more stable and grounded compared to the emotionally turbulent teenage period , particularly in water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces). This period is especially noticeable for young females, as many enter into their first serious relationships.
Venus: 25 years — Venus’ maturity brings a more practical and grounded approach to love and relationships. Romantic affairs become more meaningful, and this is often the time when some individuals settle into long-term commitments or marriage.
Mars: 28 years — By this age, Mars stabilizes. People learn to manage impulsiveness and aggression, replacing bold, impulsive actions with more thoughtful decision-making. They also become more competitive and are better at taking calculated risks.
Mercury: 32 years — At this stage, individuals become more analytical and practical in life. They gain better control over their finances, some of them start businesses or pursue higher education. Daily communication becomes more purposeful and refined.
Saturn: 36 years — One of the most critical ages in life, Saturn’s maturity marks the end of any lingering childhood attitudes. Real adulthood begins, where life philosophy, karma, career, and societal roles become more established. If Saturn is prominent in a chart, significant life changes often happen around this time.
Rahu: 41 - 42 years — Rahu, symbolizing material desires, generally brings material success by this age. By 42, a person has typically achieved a certain level of wealth and understands their true desires in life.
Ketu: 47 - 48 years — Ketu's maturity leads to spiritual development and detachment from material concerns. By this age, individuals start focusing on spiritual growth, introspection, and deeper understanding. This period marks a shift toward spiritual realization and inner peace.
Respectively, the astrological houses where these planets are located begin to deliver their maximum results after the planets reach maturity.

It's the final day of Navaratri, a 10 day, or 9 night, Hindu festival celebrating the 9 forms of the Goddess Durga. ✨Jai Durga Maa✨
Today though I figured I would post each of these forms here in one big post that celebrates each of her forms and victories over the past 10 days. I hope you enjoy.
Keep in mind there are many different traditions and versions of these myths, and I am not a Hindu, so your own research is always advised.
✨Shailputri✨
✨Om Devi Shailaputryai Namah✨
Tumblr media
The first day of Navaratri celebrates Durga as Shailaputri, considered the absolute form of mother nature.
The colour of the day is yellow and she connects us to the root chakra, the foundation of Shakti.
She teaches patience, strength and grounding, keeping us firm in our beliefs. Meditating on her here represents the beginning stage of the journey to awakening, the first chakra activated when working with Kundalini. It is also said that the worship of Shailaputri on this day will ward off ill effects of the moon.
Her story goes as follows: Sati, also known as the daughter of the mountain, against her father's wishes becomes the wife of Lord Shiva. Not agreeing with Satis choice of partner, her father arranges a great party in which he invites all the gods, goddesses and holy men, everyone except Shiva and Sati. Upset and angry at this insult Sati crashes the party then throws herself into a fire, killing herself, later incarning as Parvati.
✨Brahmacharini✨
✨Om Braam Breem Broom Brahmcharinyai Namah✨
Tumblr media
The second day of Navaratri celebrates Durga as Brahmacharini.
The colour of the day is green and she connects us to the Sacral Chakra.
She teaches perseverance, devotion, peace of mind, love and harmony. Meditating on her this day is said to bring the devotee victory in all their endeavors and the ability to persevere and stay balanced mentally in order to tackle any obstacles or duties that one faces.
Her story goes as follows: After Sati's death, Shiva goes into deep meditation that lasts for many many years, abstaining from all desires. Shiva, so deep in meditation, doesn't realise that Sati has reincarnated as Parvati. Parvati, wanting to marry Shiva once again in this life, is told that the only way she can marry him is if she undergoes a severe penance. Parvati then spends thousands of years in meditation, eventually eating, drinking and breathing nothing in devotion to Lord Shiva, in the hopes that he notices her and recognises her once more.
✨Chandraghanta✨
✨Om Hreem Kleem Shreem Chandraghantayai Namah✨
Tumblr media
The third day of Navaratri celebrates Durga as Chandraghanta.
The colour of the day is grey and she connects us to the Solar Plexus.
She teaches justice, discipline, strength and power. Worship of her on this day is said to remove all evil spirits and obstacles, dispel sorrow and negativity and bring peace, grace and serenity to her devotees. She will also bless her devotees with a warrior spirit imbued with courage and might, so, like Chandraghanta, we are always confident and ready to fight for our own and others well-being.
Her story goes as follows: When Shiva is finally brought out of meditation and notices Parvati, he is happy with her devotion to him and agrees to marry her again. On the day of the wedding Shiva appears in his terrifying form, shocking and scaring the wedding guests. In response, and to ease the minds of the wedding guests, Parvati also changes herself into her terrifying form, Chandraghanta, and the two are wed.
✨Kushmanda✨
✨Om Hreem Kushmandayai Jagatprasootyai Namah✨
Tumblr media
The fourth day of Navaratri celebrates Durga as Kushmanda, considered the creator of the universe.
The colour of the day is orange and she connects us to the Heart Chakra.
She teaches purification, clarity and creative energy. Worship of her on this day is said to remove planetary flaws and imbalances, purifies the darkness from bad actions or karmas, removes evil or negative energy, brings in good energy and a positive aura, sheds light on our path, promotes business which brings about success and opportunities, boosts creativity and concentration, builds harmonious relationships with others, and promotes good physical, mental and spiritual health.
Her story goes as follows: When the universe didn't yet exist and all was darkness, Kushmanda created the universe with her smile, filling the universe with light. She is believed to reside in the centre of the sun and embodies the source of all life. She created all the other gods, who go on to create other universes, beings and life forms.
✨Skandamata✨
✨Om Hreem Saha Skandmatryai Namah✨
Tumblr media
The fifth day of Navaratri celebrates Durga as Skandamata, the mother of Skanda (also commonly known as Kartikeya), the commander-in-chief of the gods.
The colour of the day is white and she connects us to the Throat Chakra.
When we connect to Skandamata by proxy we also connect to Skanda, receiving both of their blessings.
Skandamata teaches us to nurture and protect children, have purity of intent and find ways to grow our knowledge. Worship of her on this day is said to promote fertility, prosperity, courage and wisdom. She blesses her devotees with a clear mind and a feeling of tranquility, she can pacify the heart and bring a life filled with contentment, prosperity and achievement for those with pure and selfless intentions, bringing many rewards. She will protect her devotees with a mothers love, giving them strength and power. It's also said that she can lead her devotees down the path of salvation, liberating them from the cycles of birth and death.
Her story goes as follows: When Shiva detached himself from all worldly affairs and went into deep meditation after the death of Sati, the demon Tarakasura was given a boon which only allowed the son of Shiva to kill him, and as such was free to wreak havoc. Parvati, after her severe penance was able to marry Shiva, and together they created an incredibly hot and fiery seed. Agni, the god of fire, was tasked with delivering the seed but the seed was far to hot. So Durga takes the form of water and carries the seed to a lake where Skanda is born. Skanda then goes on to become the commander-in-chief of the gods and fulfils his destiny, killing the demon Tarakasura.
✨Katyayani✨
✨Om Hreem Shreem Katyayanyai Namah✨
Tumblr media
The sixth day of Navaratri celebrates Durga as Katyayani.
The colour of the day is red and she connects us to the Third Eye.
She teaches strength, protection and solutions to issues of love and marriage. Worship of Katyayani on this day is said to bring protection, remove evil spirits, triumph over obstacles, promote success and fame, bring love to those seeking, lead the way to a happy marriage, resolve problems in marriages and protect families. It is also said she will remove the negative powers of aspects in her devotees natal charts, as well as protect from malific planetary transits, remove sins and struggles that one faces, facilitating all round happiness and fulfilment.
Her story goes as follows: The trinity of the gods, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, among other gods, were so angry that the demon Mahishasura was wreaking havoc that their anger combined created Katyayani. They each gave her weapons and powers and tasked Katyayani to kill the demon. On her way to do this, Mahishasura was so captivated by her beauty he asked her to marry him, but Katyayani told him that she can only be won in a fight. Mahishasura, determined to win Katyayani's hand in marriage, changed into his bull form ready to fight, Katyayani on the other hand, jumped from her mount with such force she knocked him to the ground, killing him.
✨Kaalratri✨
✨Om Aim Hreem Shreem Kaalratryai Namah✨
Tumblr media
The seventh day of Navaratri celebrates Durga as Kaalratri, also known as Kali.
The colour of the day is royal blue and she connects us to the Crown Chakra.
Kaalratri is commonly known as the fiercest form of Durga, her mere image invokes fear in all those who do evil, she displays no mercy for the wicked. She teaches how to be bold, powerful and destroy ignorance and replace it with knowledge. Worship of her on this day is said to remove black magick and malevolent spirits of all kinds, they flee in terror when she is present. She removes fears, negativity and obstacles giving us the power to be bold, courageous and successful. She destroys ignorance and blesses her devotees with knowledge, wealth, power and good health. It is also said she will remove negative aspects in her devotees natal charts that relate to career, troubles with success or aspects that indicate health issues.
Her story goes as follows: The demon Raktabeej had a doon where every drop of blood would spawn yet another version of him, infuriating Parvati. As a result of her anger, Parvati changed into her Kaalratri form, turning her as dark as the night. Filled with rage she slaughters each of the forms of Raktabeej, collecting his blood in a bowl, and drinking it to stop him from multiplying. She did this until only the real Raktabeej was left, whereupon she chopped off his head and drank his blood until he was no more.
✨Mahagauri✨
✨Om Hreem Shreem Glaum Gam Gauri Geem Namah✨
Tumblr media
The eighth day of Navaratri celebrates Durga as Mahagauri.
The colour of the day is pink and she connects us to the Soul Star chakra, located just above the Crown Chakra.
Mahagauri teaches compassion, morality, and emotional stability. Worship of her on this day is said to remove impurities, dispel confusion, bring peace, facilitate compassion, lead the way to enlightenment, expand spiritual growth and fulfill desires. She blesses her devotees with a peaceful life, home and family, bringing a good partner to those who are seeking and bless marriages. She will also remove obstacles, negativity and the sins of her devotees, lead to self realisation and promote virtue and emotional stability.
Her story goes as follows: Parvati, after her battles as Kaalratri, was stuck looking as dark as the night, to regain her original form she was told to bathe in the river Ganges. Doing as recommended, she re-emerges from the river more beautiful than ever, as the glowing form of Mahagauri.
✨Siddhidatri✨
✨Om Hreem Shri Siddhidatri Durgaaye Namaha✨
Tumblr media
The ninth day of Navaratri celebrates Durga as Siddhidatri, the supreme goddess.
The colour of the day is purple and she connects us to the Universal Chakra, located above the Soul Star Chakra above the Crown.
She teaches divine knowledge, spiritual attainment and bestows all manner of siddhis (powers) to her devotees. Worship of her on this day is said to help one focus on higher attainment in all pursuits, whether those pursuits are physical or spiritual. She grants boons to mortals and spirits alike fulfilling the desires of her devotees. She promotes a mediative mindset, brings peace and helps one with devotional practices that take perseverance. She will even remove obstacles and fears, facilitate balance and perfection in all things, and bring success.
Her story goes as follows: When the universe was void and there was nothing at all to behold, a celestial light spread amongst the universe filling every part of the void. This light started to take shape into the form of Mahashakti. She brought into existence the trinity of gods; Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The Trinity of gods were then assigned their roles and obligations by the goddess. They then sat in meditation for a very long time performing many atonements, pleased with this the goddess appeared to them in her most divine form, Siddhidatri. She granted each of the Trinity all manner of siddhis, also gifting the trinity with their three wives, who all represent divine aspects of herself; Brahma with Saraswati, Vishnu with Lakshmi, and Shiva with Parvati, who are to help them with their tasks. She then goes on to create other deities, demons, universes, galaxies, worlds and life, and grants all manner of siddhis to anyone who dedicates their devotion to her.
✨Durga✨
✨Om Dum Durgayei Namaha✨
Tumblr media
The tenth day of Navaratri celebrates all of Durga's victories over the past nine nights. Jai Durga Maa!
It is a tradition in some parts to commemorate the weapons and tools that brought Durga victory and triumph over all she faced, and too, pay homage to our own weapons, magickal or otherwise, and tools of trade that bring us victory in our own lives.

4th House Ruler Through the Houses
The 4th House in the Birth Chart Tells Us About:
Our connection to our roots (upbringing, birth family, ancestry, traditions, nation)
Our relationship with the nurturing/"softer" parent
The atmosphere of the home we grew up in
Our deep subconscious patterns, habits, and even past life karma/ancestral karma
What makes us feel secure and the deep motivations driving our decisions in life
Tumblr media
We analyze the sign, the ruling planet of the sign, the degree, and any planets in the house (and their aspects). For this post, I am only asking you to look at the sign on the cusp and where its ruling planet is placed. You are free to use whichever house system you like, although I strongly recommend WHOLE SIGNS! ♥
Some signs have TWO rulers:
♈ Aries: Mars & Pluto
♏ Scorpio: Pluto & Mars
♐ Sagittarius: Jupiter & Neptune
♒ Aquarius: Uranus & Saturn
♓ Pisces: Neptune & Jupiter
E.g., if you have a Libra 4H, look at the house where Venus is placed, and read the explanation below. If you have a Scorpio 4H, consider the meaning of BOTH placements and prioritize Pluto. ;) Astrology is so much fun!
4H Ruler in the 1H
Your family and upbringing largely influence your SELF-IMAGE.
Discovering the true depths of who you are will be key to a fulfilling life for you. I’m glad to see you reading an Astrology post! Keep it up! The 1st house is all about the way we walk, talk, carry ourselves, and what our personal style is like. Reflect on your current self-image and how you present yourself to the world. Does it feel natural and authentic? If not, this might be because of family influence or inherited cultural traditions/beliefs. Pay attention to the ones related to body image, beauty, gender, and how you are supposed to act in front of other people. If you struggle to see yourself clearly, you should seek feedback from others and learn actively from the mirror of your close relationships. You are a private person, even if you appear extroverted. Also, repressed emotions and traumas can manifest as physical illnesses, so practices such as bioenergetics and somatic therapy can be healing. E.g., there is a concept in bioenergetics that suggests a correlation between bad physical posture (slouching, for instance) and negative childhood experiences. The idea is that when children experience stress, fear, or a need to protect themselves, they may physically contract and collapse inward, to shield themselves from perceived threats. Over time, this defensive posture can become ingrained in their body and carried into adulthood. This is a good example of how your subconscious mind can be expressed through your physical body.
4H Ruler in the 2H
Your upbringing and early childhood experiences shape your VALUES.
It's possible that you have absorbed most of your values from your family and the culture you grew up in. However, this largely depends on the planetary condition. E.g., Uranus, especially with hard aspects, can show the opposite - you could feel called to go totally against your conditioning and to create your own set of values. Your sense of self-worth and your money mindset can also be influenced by your upbringing. Do you tend to self-sabotage right when success and abundance come knocking at your door? Reflect on your values/beliefs and see if some of them are holding you back from getting the most out of life. You tend to keep your financial matters private. Perhaps you could earn an income from home, through a family business, or in the fields of psychology, real estate, and agriculture. Your sense of security likely stems from having enough money and possessions. Material and emotional security, or the lack thereof, can impact your health and physical well-being. You may find solace in solitude, at home, or in the company of close family and friends.
4H Ruler in the 3H
Your conditioning & early childhood experiences shape your MIND & COMMUNICATION.
Knowledge can be a great source of security for you. You could've been raised by parents that instilled a love for learning in you, which is why education can play a major role in your life. You may also value practical skills and street smarts. You might've been homeschooled or you can be interested in homeschooling your own children one day. You tend to keep your thoughts private, but you love sharing them with your close friends and family. There could've been a situation in your early years where you had to take care of a sibling or vice versa. Otherwise, it can simply mean that you had a close or significant relationship with a sibling. The way you think and express yourself now can be a result of your conditioning and subconscious patterns. Therefore, if you have certain speech impediments or mental health issues, they are likely to be caused by events and negative experiences in your early years. By learning how to take care of your mind and heal communication blocks, you could get inspired to help others, too. Speech therapy or child psychology could be possible vocations for you.
4H Ruler in the 4H
The themes of family, home, and security are EMPHASIZED in your life.
Your early childhood experiences and conditioning play a vital role in the way you perceive these themes. Whether you continue the patterns of your family or strive to break free from them (or some of them), will depend on you. However, you may be deeply unaware of the subconscious beliefs and emotions you carry, which is why psychological work and healing will be highly beneficial for your personal growth and quality of life. It's important to forgive your parents for the mistakes they have made and find a way to build your own foundation and security in life. The relationship you had with one of your parents - the more nurturing one - can have a great impact on your life. However, no matter how attached you are to this parent, it's important to avoid co-dependency on both sides and maintain some healthy degree of independence (they might want to get too involved in your relationships and decision-making). You are likely to find a lot of comfort and security in your privacy, cherishing moments spent alone or with loved ones.
4H Ruler in the 5H
Your upbringing greatly impacts your SELF-EXPRESSION.
If you were encouraged to express your gifts or if you had artistically inclined parents, that's great! You might have inherited some of their talents, too. On the contrary, if you felt unseen and weren't encouraged to perform/shine/express yourself wholeheartedly, this can hinder your ability to find joy in life and be fulfilled in the now. You are called to connect with your inner child and address any psychological issues that may be holding you back. You can find security in the enjoyment of life and in taking risks aligned with your heart's desires. Unfortunately, unhealed childhood traumas can lead to addictive or risky behavior such as gambling, reckless spending, or sexual promiscuity. It can also show up in the opposite way - a deep-seated fear of taking risks in life. The dynamics in your romantic relationships will reflect the 4H and inner child issues you need to work on. Speaking of which, you may like to keep your dating and sex life, hobbies, and talents private. It's important to "re-parent" yourself before you jump into parenting another human. You can benefit from exploring your emotions and psychological patterns through your hobbies and creativity. Consider opportunities to work with children or simply try to be around them more often - their spontaneity and joyful expression could inspire you!
4H Ruler in the 6H
Your conditioning & early childhood experiences shape your approach to HEALTH & WORK.
While you were growing up, was there anyone in your family who needed special assistance and care? If the answer is yes, this might've had a big influence on the way you think about health and well-being. Some people become hypochondriacs and others feel compelled to learn more about holistic health and wellness. Nonetheless, cleaning up your psychological "storage" regularly will help you maintain physical and emotional health and stability. There are also certain beliefs you have likely absorbed from your parents or culture around work and service. Observe how you approach these themes, and seek the cause of any issues in your early conditioning. You could be genetically predisposed to certain health conditions, as well. You may feel secure when you have healthy habits and routines set in place. You may keep your work/daily life and health situation private. "Family" to you means being of service to your loved ones, which is great, but make sure it isn't at the expense of your own needs. This can be a good position for working in the fields of counseling, therapy, and holistic medicine.
4H Ruler in the 7H
Your conditioning & early childhood experiences shape your way of RELATING to others.
You can derive your sense of security from being in a partnership and having the support of other people. The way your close friends and loved ones perceive you can be highly important to you. Beware of co-dependency and giving your personal power away. You like to keep your marriage, love life, and close friendships in "private mode", and you strive to form deep and meaningful relationships. To you, the word "family" means equality, mutual respect, and true partnership with one another. Your deep subconscious patterns and upbringing impact your behavior as a partner, as well as the types of people and relationships you feel drawn to. You could be repeating certain family dynamics in your relationships. Your conditioning has shaped your beliefs around marriage, and the expectations you have for yourself and other people. It's possible that your parents (or one parent) could want to be involved in your choice of life partner.
4H Ruler in the 8H
Your conditioning & early childhood experiences shape your beliefs about SHARED RESOURCES & INTIMACY.
You could derive a sense of security from sharing material resources with others and cultivating deep, intimate bonds with them. You feel safe when you know there is at least ONE person in your life you can 100% trust. The way your parents managed their resources has influenced your own attitude toward intimacy and sharing. It's possible that you have experienced critical situations during childhood involving loss of emotional security or financial struggles. It's crucial to heal and integrate any traumas and psychological wounding, so they don't push you into the 8H realm of self-destructive behavior. In terms of resources, you could inherit land from your parents or have an interest in real estate investment and renting out property. This placement suggests that you will find your sense of true security when you embrace the uncertainty and insecurity in life. You will learn to empower yourself through spirituality and self-awareness. You like to keep your sexual and financial matters private. To you, "family" is about intimacy that grows when people overcome challenges together and are "ride-or-die" for one another. Your sexual expression and your ability (or lack thereof) to trust another person, will reflect how far you've come on your psychological healing journey.
4H Ruler in the 9H
Your conditioning & early childhood experiences shape your WORLDVIEWS.
You find security in seeking higher meaning and perspective in life that allow you to have faith and overcome any difficulty. Your personal beliefs are kept private and you like to "preach" only to the people you love and care about. For you, the word "family" means being with a partner who shares your moral values and beliefs about the world. Your approach to parenting and family can deviate from what you were taught as a child or the way you were brought up. That is because you enjoy pondering on these topics and you want to develop your own set of values and philosophy about home and family. E.g, you could be interested in alternative forms of education (such as home/unschooling). If that's not the case, this placement can simply mean that one of your parents has had a significant influence on your perspective of the world and your beliefs about higher education. You may enjoy long-distance travel as a way to expand your worldview and nurture connections with people from other cultures.
4H Ruler in the 10H
Your conditioning & early childhood experiences shape your CAREER & LEGACY.
Whatever has been planted during your childhood, will develop and the results will be on public display for everyone to see. It's up to you to make sure you weed out the bullcrap (although that can be a great fertilizer 😂) and nurture the seeds you wish to see grow and bear fruit in your life. Your calling can revolve around your career, possibly a profession inherited by a parent or a family business, or it may be about becoming a parent yourself. If it's career-related, you could be interested in 4H fields such as psychology, real estate, or history. Your parents may wish to influence your career choice. To you, "family" is about responsibility and commitment to one another. It's possible that you were raised by a single parent or that your parents divorced - especially with the opposition aspect. There can be many beliefs you have absorbed from your parents and culture around work and responsibility. You find a sense of security in your career and protective relationships with authority figures. You can be more private and choose to work behind the scenes.
4H Ruler in the 11H
Your conditioning & early childhood experiences shape your SOCIAL NETWORK & ASPIRATIONS.
You can find a sense of security and belonging within a friend or other social group of people who share your interests and deeper values/ideals about the world and society. Consequently, the word "family" carries spiritual meaning to you. It goes deeper than blood relations or traditional beliefs about marriage - you value mutual freedom, friendship, and shared interests. Your conditioning impacts your ability to dream big and the friend/social groups you choose to join. You may have the desire to reform your culture and its traditions in some way or wish to be known as a thought leader in your home country. You keep your social life and dreams private. The ideals you pursue and the social contribution you want to make are often rooted in your childhood and what you've been taught about society, as a whole.
4H Ruler in the 12H
Your conditioning & early childhood experiences affect your MENTAL HEALTH & SPIRITUALITY.
You could find a lot of comfort in your solitude. However, that depends on the planet and its aspects, as this placement can point to a deep fear of being alone, too. Your concept of "family" extends beyond blood ties, and it's about soulmate connections, unconditional love, and self-sacrifice. You can have a spiritual connection to your ancestors and may benefit from practices such as ancestral healing or regression. Deep-seated subconscious patterns influence your ability to surrender and "go with the flow" in life. You may seek a sense of home and belonging in a foreign country, but long-term immigration depends on other factors in the chart, as well. The 4th House represents roots and security, while the 12th House is about the dissolution of all forms, so you could feel ungrounded and disconnected from physical reality at times. Early childhood experiences may have eroded your sense of security, which can make you prone to addictions or mental health issues and escapism. Hypnotherapy and other similar tools can help you heal and find inner stability. Ultimately, you will accept life's inherent uncertainty and will find true security within yourself and your connection to Source.
The Ask Box is open for specific questions, folks! 😊

12th House Planets - Finding God through Lack
Tumblr media
The 12th house is traditionally presided for by Saturn. As a result, most planets except for Saturn itself will experience a degree of strictness and delays in their expression and expansion, if that house is activated by a planet in your chart.
The 12th house causes feelings of loss of independence and personal power, since it's 12th from the 1st house of self. It's where we feel, and are, spiritually, out of control for long periods of time, years, sometimes decades, and thus it creates a necessity for surrender, because here our individual actions are put completely in perspective with the best interest of the collective.
For that reason, I won't involve Venus and Saturn in this post, as they excel in the 12th house. Saturn in the 12th house is the planet of surrender in the house of surrender, while Venus is the planet of creating space, spiritually, to let go also, even to the point of embracing death. As a result, these two planets don't experience as much internal conflict in the 12th house as others do, because their themes are mutually compatible, and will connect to higher energies easier, creating less resistance, especially if the rest of the chart has functional house placements, creating positive energy movement somewhere else to occupy the native. In fact, having Saturn in the 12th house is an excellent way not to put it anywhere else, and make sure Saturn doesn't challenge the matters of any other house besides its own, while other planets do their job. I also won't involve the Nodes because they come from the Moon, all these bodies being malleable and reflective, taking up qualities of whatever house they reside in.
The general rule with all the other 12th house planets is, you need to be very selective and careful in order to survive. Saturn is the karaka for the 12th house, and has an instinct for fairness, being the consequence of Jupiter, but it also rules boundaries, which Jupiter lacks. The gift of the 12th house is self-sufficiency. With 12th house planets, you always get taken advantage of first, and as a result you move on from being just fair to being super selective. You don't want to mess up like other people did with you, since the 12th house has a perfect instinct for karma, but you are extremely cautious, because you know what people are capable of.
This house also has a unique talent for both showing you and giving you what you really want, no more, no less. That is delivered to you by solitary effort and persevering despite obstacles. The 12th house can make it initially difficult for your planets to self realise, to test your mettle and conviction. It will only allow the expression of what you truly want to stick up for, despite unfavorable conditions. It doesn't always have to be about persisting in physical work, or a traditional job, which is a common misconception. Saturn's work is a spiritual exercise, it's more about holding on to something one truly values and believes in internally, and not letting it fall away, even if physical manifestation is temporarily blocked. Here one will do one's best with the little means they have, and will hold on to one's ideas, even if physical concessions must be made and one is forced to wait or have less in the meantime, even if they one only devote a couple of hours a day to what they treasure.
Over time you will gain a knack for distant fame and control through your 12th house planets, as a payoff for your persistence and systematic, determined approach. As you connect with planetary energies from people located far away, you're the celebrity that does minimal interaction with the public, but because of merit of self awareness people become drawn to you. This is the good kind of fame, not Rahu abusive fame, but because you offer something actually worthwhile to society, and people fall in love with the quality and simple substantiality of your achievements.
To succeed with 12th house planets, you have to completely ignore the external world and anyone's opinion and influences, if you are internally convinced that what you're doing is right, and you're actually doing it for the right reason. People will only support your 12th house planets at the end of your journey, if you build up and support yourself strictly and unconditionally through the entire process. You will owe nothing to nobody with those planets. If you come to anyone expecting anything, they will just try to tear your down. The only path is to work alone or with very few people at best, humbly, in silence, make sure your creation is good, don't expect anything, and the quality of your product will speak for itself and ultimately sell. You need to let go of all expectations you may have, because your expression with 12th house planets is unique and not for everyone, so let the people who appreciate your precise brand come to you. Make sure, that what you do has some objectivity, usefulness and universality, even if its a personal journey. You will never please everyone, and you need to accept that, but what you create should be something at least SOME people can use to improve their lives.
That theme is the paradox and win of both Saturn, and 12th house planets. People are easily abundant in themselves, when someone pours into them externally. Nobody is truly self sufficient from birth, some people are just lucky and protected enough to always have a supply of confidence. 12th house planets redefine that, finding success even without luck, at the price of passage of time, as there is always a price for everything, even if someone else pays it for us. The 12th house understands this karmic law of exchange and interconnectedness. It is the only place, it offers us true freedom and independence through becoming completely self reliant over time.
Any classical, traditional roles and figures associated with 12th house planets are a problem, because Saturn is an oddball and rarely finds easy support. It's better to accept loss and not to have any traditional associations with those areas, as they lead to ruin. That can only be an exception in case of relocation to foreign lands, through meeting people with a different mentality, and forsaking one's own native land or people here counts for a sacrifice strong enough. Saturn is a quirky, lonely, innovative eccentric, that will never find its place with tradition, because it is here to redefine it. Below, I will give a quick list of how these traditions are broken.
Sun, to an extent Jupiter - issues with father, male teachers and caregivers. Experiencing judgment from government and official bodies. Desire to be independent from governmental structures, even live off-grid.
Jupiter - loss of belonging and participation in traditional family circles, loss of hope for a warm hearted family atmosphere. Must be critical of other people's teachings in a societal context. Native should create and control one's own family circle and make it tight, and create their own abundance in solitude.
Mars - loss of attachment to siblings and local family community as a whole, very few friendships with people of the same gender, and if they're there, they're distant. In contrast, a female with Mars placed in an auspicious house will always have at least one good female friend. Loss of contact with a direct boss/subordinate relationship, because it leads to abuse of power.
Mercury - lack of understanding from teachers and early environments. Lack of contact with siblings, playmates. First crushes and friend circles always expire, person will not have good friends carrying on from early years.
Moon - eating habits from one's family need to be changed. The Mother is an emotionally draining figure. One's children end up being demanding and exhausting too. Relocation away from birthplace environment is the only hope for happiness in motherhood. May however return to birthplace in older age for spiritual understanding, as the Moon is cyclical.
Jupiter in the 12th House
Health and provision for these natives happens only in foreign lands, far away from birth place. This placement makes for a very difficult childhood, because Jupiter rules child rearing. A person in many ways had to raise themselves from an early age.
There is a lack of birth family provision, in the area determined by the sign, or provision is on the bare minimum of survival. The father figures are either absent, or in some way distant, poor and struggling, may be travelling a lot, may have emotional issues, are internally lonely and not devoted to supporting the family.
Provision may instead be received from elders, grandparents, great aunts and uncles, maybe elderly bosses or professors. Provision can also be minimal coming from tired and depressed people, who have compassion but don't have much themselves, so couldn't give much either.
Over time, this placement leads the native to self-made provision, and that is very difficult in their 20s when most people still have some family help, takes them a lot of effort and needs to be protected and done in secret, because people will try to use these natives for any of their benefits. Their early environment may be very narrow minded in the topics of the sign and Lunar Mansion of the planet, and the person's only way out is being self educated on a deep level, because external philosophies don't have a good influence on them, often bring the person down and should be avoided. They should be extremely careful listening to other people's teachings.
Earlier on in life, the native somehow had to provide for others, because Jupiter likes to give to everyone without discrimination, but others didn't provide for them, as this placement signifies loss of fairness or morality from people in the family circle. People don't really believe in their essence or their motivations either. Over time the person gives up on the idea of sharing and rejoicing with anyone, and provides by themselves for themselves and only is generous when applicable, to a select few. The person doesn't trust anyone easily either, because Jupiter in this house rules loss of trust. They may become very antisocial, stay away from people even in home situations, as Jupiter rules gatherings. Living far away from birthplace really works well for these natives, because otherwise the home situation becomes abusive, and the native finds much more acceptance abroad.
These natives suffer disappointment from higher education, as their family tries to push the native towards wrong avenues of higher pursuits. Higher education only is beneficial when it comes to deeper knowledge or matters foreign or spiritual. They might have more luck studying abroad, learning foreign languages, learning about spiritual subjects, or through a correspondence course.
This placement creates issues with creation and co-creation. Very few people, if at all, give this person the opportunity to cooperate with them. People don't validate this native's creativity easily. Attempts at cooperation in early life yield traumatic results, as the networking/supportive aspect of life suffers. Often the person is in the wrong place/underappreciated/ taken advantage of. The issue here is not necessarily with the country or territory of residence, but the family environment itself, this person shouldn't live with their birth family or involve themselves with them too much even if their live in the same town. They need to be strict and minimal in contact with their ancestry. However, they can encounter unexpected, serendipitously perfect opportunities and protection from strangers.
Ultimately, this native is self taught and finds their own wisdom, and they are also a very unique creator. As a result, they become a selective, but wise teacher, because they are self contained and know how to find god within themselves, and that inspires others. Still, they should remain selective about who has access to their energy at all, because this placement is so open, it easily becomes depleted. They become very successful over time, but very picky with the idea of provision and giving support to others, both material and emotional. They will only support the most needy and causes that really deserve it. They can gain fame as a guru to the masses, especially online from a distance, that provides solid spiritual insight.
Sun in the 12th House
A very difficult placement, much worse than the reflective, sensitive Moon, as the Sun is supposed to be self inspired and self defined. Here, it struggles majorly to develop any of that. The person may have had a very withdrawn father figure, or he might have been completely absent, and any leftover parenting struggled with healthy authority. As a result, the native doesn't understand people's boundaries and doesn't know how to set their own either. As the Sun is a burning planet, they can lash out unfairly due to lack of skill and struggle of integrity, or they get walked over. All of that happens as a result of lack of a proper role model and definition of a healthy territory marking instinct. They may have felt like they had to use their own life spark for others and not for themselves, like they have to sacrifice the little energy they have to receive anything back. Father figures may have given them very wrong advice as to how to follow the native's individual direction, making them feel irrelevant. Father figures may have tried to enslave the native into their own idea of how they should express their individuality, but that comes from the father's own insecurity or lack of awareness. A person may have had to develop their individuality completely in secret, and that individuality may be better received by people from far away from their upbringing environment, from different cultures, people with wise, open minds of their own.
Over time, this person gives up, because they see trying in their early environment was hopeless to begin with, so they shut down and don't try. They become suspicious of the potential of receiving acceptance from anyone, as they still can't tell right from wrong, having such a wrong model. Only later in life, they develop complete independence through fostering their own life spark and only sharing and going out as they see fit.
If the Sun is placed in a good sign, it may turn out for the better if they're raised by a grandfather, an elderly figure will provide them their minimum of shelter. A good sign placement can also give some connection with their father, but even then he will suffer from mental health problems or nervous issues.
They may find better parenting figures away from the formative environment, a bit like Jupiter, for example through their spouses fatherly figures or in work settings through elderly bosses.
If the sign supports that, this placement may lead to spiritual travels, often solo, later in life. It's not necessarily a spiritual pilgrimage, but their travel has more of a taste of freedom and is an attempt at self understanding and self discovery, since the person is so lost, internally.
Mars in the 12th House
This is a unique placement that may have made the native feel like a puppet in childhood, since Mars rules direction and Saturn rules control. They end up being controlled by their caregivers when it comes to their life path, for example family picked their schooling, life direction, may have restricted their freedom to make any decisions. Breaking out of that bondage is very difficult for the native and may continue way into their 40s.
Since Mars is a pure planet, initially these natives trust that the control they're submitted to is for their own benefit. Over time, they realise the path took them to the wrong places of abuse, and they realise they need to break free, and that they partially allowed that control to happen through trusting the wrong figures. They grow up, cut off negative influences, purify their life, go into hermit mode, may do a lot of solo physical activity to clear their mind and energy, or travel to rediscover themselves, and only later on in life they do exactly what they want, and involve very few people in it or they only influence people at a distance through fame.
They can easily become a warrior for the masses, when they explain their abuse story, as people easily sympathize for them and admire their journey. They may stand up for selective causes, that they view are worth their time, from a distance, based on their abuse story, or they use their own story as a reference point.
These natives may become also a fitness trainer for a small selective group, or a yoga teacher, as their own fitness may decrease over time due to trauma or injury. I have seen clients with this placement participate in secret military operations in faraway countries too.
Mercury in the 12th House
These natives curiosity and early development is not encouraged by their family environment, as parents don't stimulate them intellectually and leave them to themselves. As a result, these natives have to be self learned to acquire skills of any value, and they instinctively mostly develop an imagination to replace interactions they never had. As a result of early life neglect, these people have a hard time making friends and socializing, feeling awkward and struggling with development of basic social skills. These natives may have had hope for academic environments or communicative parenting early on in life, but were misled. At the end of the day, their parents may have given a wrong education somehow, or presented their own traumas as wisdom, that the native struggles to let go of. That may paradoxically come out as being physically sheltered but controlled, as freedom of thought is not encouraged, then suffering a sudden loss that leads to growing up. These people may really struggle to know right from wrong and understand the duality of their actions and the concept of comeuppance, because early life influences were so misleading.
In certain zodiac signs, their caregivers might have forced them into a wrong educational path since birth, based on their own beliefs, trying to force a particular career path, but the native, if they don't rebel, is not able to keep up and is discarded by their family as a result. They suffer loss of benefit from any schooling, they are completely self educated, down to the basics, mother might have not fostered or stimulated intellect or their natural talents at all, and they lack perspective and curiosity about the world, which makes them appear socially dense and disconnected, as they don't know basic facts about food, culture, things going on around in the world, only the narrow path that they were forced into. They have to learn what they choose in solitude, and be self defined, and through that they become very wise over time. Homeschooling may work best, if their moon supports it. They may also end up working from home, again depending on the moon influence.
They may be very shy or insecure communicators. have only minimal financial exchanges early on in life, but later in life they may finesse and develop a very unique product, that fits the needs of the masses and sells broadly to the entire world. The idea for the product and its development has to come completely from them, and it will take time, as networking will be scarce with this placement.
Their writing, when finessed over time, might inspire masses. They have to work hard to master grammar and use of language, since their schooling suffers, but when they do, they can become eloquent, precise writers, or they can be admirably skilled in a very particular, narrow area.
