Tourism Near Goregaon and Best Place to Stay
The capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra is Mumbai, which is located 149 kilometers from Pune, 535 kilometers from Ahmedabad, 551 kilometers from Panjim, 993 kilometers from Bangalore, and 717 kilometers from Hyderabad. Mumbai is also known as India's entertainment and financial hub.
With an estimated 18.4 million residents, it is both the most inhabited Indian town and the ninth most populous metropolis overall. Mumbai was designated an Alpha World City in 2009. Mumbai is the richest city in India and home to the most billionaires, making it one of the must-see locations on Maharashtra holiday packages. There are also many good options for accommodation in Goregaon.
Mumbai is often jokingly referred to as the "city of dreams." The city, which is made up of seven islands, is named for the goddess Mumbadevi. Mumbai sightseeing as part of Mumbai travel packages is an amazing treat due to the city's age.
It has been said that this city has existed since the Stone Age. It has been a part of numerous significant dynasties, including the Marathas, Chalukyas, Rashtrakutas, and Mauryas. Due to its harbor, the city prospered as a commercial route and eventually came under Portuguese control. It became the British East India Company's headquarters in the year 1678 and quickly developed into a significant global trading center, particularly for cotton.
Mumbai is best visited in the months of September through March when the rains have finished wreaking havoc on the city's drainage network and the humidity is at its lowest.
Let’s see the best tourist places along with the best hotels in Goregaon west.
There is the Gateway of India first. The enormous Gateway of India in Mumbai, which was built in 1924 while the British Empire was in power, is one of the top tourist attractions in the area. It is situated on the Arabian Sea and looks out over Mumbai's harbor. It was built in the Ind-Saracenic architectural style primarily as a monument to King George V and Queen Mary's visit to Bombay.
It took 4 years to complete the construction. The Gateway of India, a major landmark in Mumbai, is popular with both locals and visitors from other countries. In the vicinity, there are street food and other goods vendors, photographers, and balloon merchants. Crowds are drawn to this attraction all day long. Located in South Mumbai's Colaba neighborhood, it is a short distance from the Elephanta caves, another well-liked tourist destination. It is also in close proximity to the best hotels in Goregaon west.
The second attraction is Elephanta Caves. Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are around 11 kilometers northeast of the Gateway of India. The location of these caverns is on the island of Gharapuri. This area, often known as the "City of Caves," is a cherished gem of Indian rock art culture. Ancient archaeological artifacts offer evidence of the area's rich cultural history.
By the middle of the 5th and the 6th century AD, these caves were carved out. The most significant of the seven cave excavations in this area is Cave 1, which belonged to Lord Shiva and has a statue of "Trimurti Sadashiva" at its entrance.
Nehru Planetarium is first on the list as well. One of the top tourist attractions in Mumbai is the Nehru Planetarium, which opened its doors in 1977. This dome-shaped structure is located in Worli and is well-liked by astronomers, kids, and space enthusiasts. For amateur astronomers and scientists interested in space, the planetarium serves as their primary research facility. It is also in close proximity to the best hotels in Goregaon west.
This structure houses a cinema theatre, a gas concert, and an astronomical center. A cultural center, a café, a library, and an art gallery with 14 galleries are all next to the main structure. The nine cubicles in this building where one can determine the weights of the nine planets in the solar system are one of its main draws.
With so much to explore and discover, a well-timed trip is definitely needed. To increase the quality of your stay, the best hotels in Goregaon West with excellent services are a must.
Both the Goregaon Railway Station and the airport are close to Ginger Mumbai, Goregaon. The Western Express route provides quick access to the Nesco (Bombay) Exhibition Center, Nirlon Knowledge Park, Nesco IT Park, Flim City, and other significant business sectors. Fun bash in Goa
I was happy to chose north Goa for an extended weekend trip. It was 3 nights 4 days stay in north Goa, to get sweet an short information
about authentic Goan culture and food. It was really refreshing and enjoyable trip.We stared from Bengaluru early in the morning.
It was nice road , reached Panjim by evening. We had strategically chosen our hotel in Campal area in Panjim (Panaji).
The locality was nice, calm and quite.
Day-1:
We started Day-1 in old secretariat, Panjim Church and Panjim Fonteinhas
( The Portuguese colony). The early morning walk across the bank of Mandovi River and the breeze, was really nice. After visiting Panjim jetty,
we had lunch break. Heading towards Reis Magos by crossing the Mandovi Bridge, view of Panjim from the Mandovi Bridge is really
excellent. Reis Magos is a fort cum jail. The story of Vasco da Gama, the history of Goa's freedom fighter and adding Goa to India in 1954 is
well descibed in Reis Magos Fort. Spending couple of hours we headed towards Candolim Beach. We had spend whole evening in Candolim Beach.
The beach was reasonable crowded, had lots of fun there. After enjoying the sunset, we came back to Hotel by 8pm.
Quickly freshened up and got ready to enjoy evening cruise. The cruise took us a round about an hour. The Portuguese dance , Goan coconut dance was reasonably good. Cruise
ended at 10:00pm. We headed to wards a Konkan Canteen (a Goan restaurant). Returned hotel at 11:30pm with loads of fun memory.
Day-2:
Started early morning, walking near the bank of Mandovi. After a 10 minute walk reached the local market of Panjim. The pathway began with stalls
selling, from the sea, the fresh catch of day. A while after walking through the road we entered a huge market building which buzzing of the
people bargaining for the morning batch of the veggies and fruits. After spending quite a lot of time we caught the local transport of Goa,
the buses, and made our way back to the hotel. At around 10 pm we started from the hotel to visit the Charpora fort which was quiet far away.
After reaching the fort, there was a beautiful view of the stretch of beach below. Vaga, Anjuna, Calangute and Miramar beach lying in a row.
This fort is famous for being a film shooting site. The Bollywood film "Dil Chahta Hai" was shot in this location.
After spending quite some time at the fort we traveled straight to the Vaga beach where we spent our time in the beach beach side shack, their
speciality being 'Rava Fry' of the sea food of your choice. Then we went to Anjuna beach where we spend the best time of our lives, sun bathing
and getting a trial massage for 30 minutes! And after taking a stroll along the beach, we made our way to the Calangute beach, where the
entrance was studded with different type of markets including a out blown proportion of tattoo and fashion outlets. There was a flight of
staircase that went down like those seen in royal mansion! The place is actually good for witnessing a sunset. After that we made our way back
to the hotel after the long day at took rest for a while. Then after freshening up we made way to the famous Ritz Classic, family restaurant
know for authentic Goan delicacies. And with that we satisfied our hunger and came back to the hotel to regain energy for the long tiring
Day-3:
This was first time in 2 days that we became early birds. To do ist for the day:
1) Complete all the sightings
2) Come back to home
sweet home. Well so it was we went to Miramar beach beach which was opposite the road we usually took, thus got to see the other side of
Campal. Just had a brief meet with the sun and a 15 minute strolling. Then we made our way to Dona Paula, which was famous for 2 reasons:
1) Site which housed the Late Chief Minister of Goa, Manohar Parrikar
2) Lovers Spot
After viewing the locations we came back to Campal and started our way back to Bengaluru. Of course on the way were other historical monuments
like Panjim Chruch. And as we passed Old Goa, we passed the Basilica of Bom (Born) Jesus, Se Cathedral, Archaeological Museum. And then we
continued our journrey to Bengaluru. It was a long journey capturing various places in the outskirts of Goa. The coincidence that took place
was that at the beginning of the journey we started on 3rd May 7:30am and reached on 6th May 7:30am.
All the way we made many happy and long lasting memories and hope you make the a lot of the same
