Ryder went to Kitty’s locked as soon as he could the next the day to check for a note and he wasn’t disappointed. He checked around the hallway before opening it up and leaning back against the lockers. Between his nerves and his usual difficulties, it took him a few tries to actually read everything through. He sighed again, trying to figure out what he should do. Maybe he should just tell her. She’d like the notes so far, she’d liked the song he’d done. All that had to mean something. 

And maybe Marley and Jane were right. Even if she didn’t have any of the same feelings for him, it didn’t mean their friendship would be ruined. They were stronger than that. They had to be. He really didn’t want to lose her. 

Time for another trip to the computer lab.

Ryder glanced around the hallway to make sure Kitty wasn’t anywhere in view before he made his way down to her locker. He had another note that he planned to leave, but when he got there he noticed one already sticking out. It was addressed to Secret Admirer, so he pulled the envelope open quickly and read it.  

He smiled to himself quietly and took a deep breath, trying to decide what to do. He and Mason were doing their song that afternoon but he had no idea how that was going to go. He smacked the paper against his hand a couple times before turning around to go to the computer lab and try to figure out what to type up.
