I'll Keep You Warm // Elsa & Josh
Elsa knew she was a coward, but she hadn’t thought she’d ever want to run away just because of what the fire had done to her - which, compared to some others, wasn’t really that bad at all. But that’s exactly what she did do. She’d tried to walk through town, the shops and the park without taking any notice of the stares people gave her or the masked but not quite indiscernible giggles she heard when people thought she was out of earshot. The reaction from heartless, insensitive people hurt more than the scars themselves did whenever she pressed a finger to her skin. She felt humiliated every time she left the house, and she didn’t want to deal with that any longer. She’d considered staying in the house until they healed properly, but that could have been months. So instead, she’d packed a bag, kissed goodbye to her wonderful cousin Suki and gone to stay with Sienna’s parents in Leeds.
It had definitely helped. Obviously, the people of Leeds weren’t much different to those of Stamford but knowing that she didn’t live in the same town as these people and wouldn’t necessarily have to ever see them again made her feel oddly better about the whole experience, and the slight change of scenery was beneficial to the point that, after a couple of weeks, Elsa felt considerably happier and ready to return home sooner than she’d expected to. Her auntie and uncle had treated her with such kindness and sympathy that it made Elsa’s chest flutter with happiness. She only hoped she’d receive the same kind of reception upon her return.
It was around 8:30pm when Elsa arrived back in Stamford in a taxi. Her auntie had offered to drive her home but Elsa had insisted that she didn’t want her to waste any petrol when she was fine on her own. By now, her scars were still sensitive to touch but not quite as painful as they once were, so Elsa now found that she could apply a suitable amount of makeup to her face without too much discomfort. She didn’t go overboard - it was just enough coverage to make her feel more confident than she had done before. The scars were still quite noticeable, but Elsa liked to think that people wouldn’t be quite as surprised to look at her as they were before she’d left. She paid the taxi driver and stepped out into the cold air, instantly wrapping her warm scarf around her neck and slipping on her gloves. It was snowing quite heavily and Elsa had to squint as she walked as the wind was blowing the flakes into her face at some speed. She wandered up the high street, wondering if it was too late to find a coffee shop when she bumped her shoulder into someone. She let out a slight surprised gasp and brushed her hair out of her face, standing straighter to look at the person clearer. “I’m really sorry, I din’t see ya there,” she said, her tone laced with both concern and embarrassed amusement. “This snow’s blindin’,” she added with a chuckle. It was a bit too dark to recognise the guy immediately, but the streetlight to the right of Elsa helped to illuminate his face slightly and she recognised him as someone she’d met at the party. “Josh, in’t it?” she smiled. “I remember ya from the party… Yeah. Sorry, again, about jus’ now… I can be quite clumsy sometimes, I s’pose,” she said, realising she was babbling a bit and letting out another chuckle.

It Was Enchanting To Meet You | | Mia & Josh
Mia rushed out of the gates of Disney World, trying to make it to her car as fast as possible. It was currently 6:45 and she would be meeting him in front of Cinderella's Castle at around 8:00, she had to leave around 7:30. She noticed her familiar looking car, a black corvette. She took her car keys out of her bag, unlocking her car. Within 30 seconds, she hoped into her car and began to drive back home to her house.
As she pulled into her driveway, she noticed her little sister playing out in her front yard. She got out of her car, locking it up. "Hey Mia! How was-" "Sorry Lila, can't talk. I have to get ready!" Mia called over her shoulder, as she dashed inside her house. She ran up the stairs, slowing down and then walking into her room. She plopped her bag off of her shoulder and onto her bed. Mia walked over to her closet, pulling out her all time favorite dress. It was solid white, hugged her tightly in all of the right places, and was mid-thigh length.
Mia slipped off her work clothes and slipped into her dress. She zipped into her bathroom, pulling out her curling iron and makeup bag. She pulled in the iron and waited for 5 minutes for it to heat up. Once it did, she grasped it and began to curl just the tips and bottom of her hair. The female unplugged the iron and grabbed her hair spray, spraying it on her hair so it would stay in place. Mia opened up her makeup bag, grabbing everything she would need; eyeliner, lip gloss, mascara, and some eye shadow. After she had applied all of that, she checked herself in the mirror. She was pretty confident in how she looked.
Mia walked out of her bathroom, grabbing her high heel shoes and putting them on her feet. She hurried out of her room and down the stairs. She glanced up at the living room clock, it read 7:25. She grabbed her car keys, walking out to get into her car. She unlocked it, hoping inside and taking off to the park again. Once she arrived, she parked in the same parking spot she had parked in earlier that day. She got out, hurriedly walking in. She took her time, trying not to fall as she walked in her heels. Soon enough, the gigantic castle was in view. She smiled, knowing he would be around there waiting for her.
