Thanos Gets New Solo Comic Book Series

Thanos is going up against the Illuminati in a new solo comic book series. Thanos hails from writer Chris Cantwell and artist Luca Pizzari.

"Thanos vs. the Illuminati! The Mad Titan descends upon Earth to retrieve something he has lost. And the Illuminati must band together to stop him, because they’re the ones who hid it from him!" (Marvel Comics) This new Illuminati is comprised of Mr. Fantastic, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Emma Frost, and Blue Marvel.

Thanos #1 (of 4), featuring a main cover by Leinil Francis Yu and an homage variant cover by Phil Noto, goes on sale on November 8, 2023.

Marvel Announces New “X-Men: Before the Fall” One-Shot Following Apocalypse

Marvel Comics has announced X-Men: Before the Fall - Heralds of Apocalypse #1, in its series of one-shots that will set the stage for the “Hellfire Gala” and the “Fall of X” saga. Heralds of Apocalypse hails from writer Al Ewing and artist Luca Pizzari.

After X of Swords, Apocalypse exiled himself of Amenth, reunited with his wife Genesis. Now the couple are up to some mew machinations and have their sights set on the Red Planet.
