It's interesting how Izuna and Obito share a birthday.
I think that, due to their relationship with Madara —his younger brother and apprentice— that can't be nothing but intentional.
It makes me wonder if they shared any other traits that made Madara keep his eye on Obito and eventually save his life, since there's no way Obito was the only Uchiha child to be lost in battle and whose body could not be found afterwards in about 50 years and three wars.
Was Izuna as honest as Obito? Did he also have big dreams? We know he was devoted to the Uchiha, and I've seen him be described as "harmonic". But what does harmonic even mean, was he a perfect complement to Madara? Was he confident and able to keep his cool under pressure? Was he pragmatic, was he ambitious? What traits did he share with Obito that Madara couldn't see in any other Uchiha, what made Obito so special? Did Izuna never leave a man behind, did he go out of his way to help others, was he headstrong, was he obsessive, did he have a quiet intensity and tunnel vision? Was he constantly drowned in self doubt yet kept an appearance of self-assuredness to others. Was he constantly playing catch up to Tobirama, a natural genius, stoic, devoted to a cause (did a young, broken Kakashi remind him of a young Tobirama?)
Was Izuna self sacrificing in the same way Obito was —was it the fact that Obito gave his eye away to Kakashi before he died? Was that something so rare, something that only Izuna would've done (and did)?
Was he always fucking late everywhere
I'm losing it
