I’ve been trying to make a segment oc who’s like a fishman that gets sent out to scavenge for samples/old tech in hard to reach places and is built with the intent of entering the really deep parts of the ocean.

And then I had an even better oc idea.

His name is Pinkttore

He’s exactly the same as Dottore except someone fucked up and added a little bit of red to him, kinda like when you accidentally add something red when you’re washing white clothes.

That’s it. That’s the oc.

Is pinkttore black current flavoured

Pinkttore is like a pack of mystery gummies, each one different flavoured!

Oh the berries in my header are elderberries! They have many uses in both jams, food colouring, wine, and have many medicinal uses too!

Unless you're eating raw/uncooked berries and flowers, in which case you're gonna be blasting out of both ends and possibly end up comatose. They contain lectin and cyanide so, y'know, don't go plucking these off the bush and eating them.

Wanna know something kinda fucked up? These used to grow at my elementary school. There are houses right next door and one had an elderberry tree. There was a big ol' branch right above the sandbox, where all the kids grade 1-3 kids would play. We also had another berry that grew on a tree that kinda looked like blueberries, and we have nightshades growing along the fence. Never addressed by the school. The only time the school addressed a dangerous plant was when walnuts would fall in the school yard, and even then it was because we had one kid with a severe nut allergy.

Tbh I'm surprised I've never heard a story about a kid eating those berries and getting sick. I guess the kids in my class were smart enough to know not to, but there's GOTTA be someone who ate the berries. I know I wanted to eat the elderberries, even though I knew they would probably kill me.

Anyways no, pinkttore is not black currant flavoured, though that DOES give me a funny idea. Maybe depending on what he eats his hair will change to a different shade of pink. Eat too many peaches? Peachy. Eat too much cotton candy? Pastel pink. Eat too much watermelon? Almost red.

So I wake up right, I fuck around on tumblr for a bit and then I decide to open my photo app.

And like obviously they’re from my pinkttore edits, right?

But they shouldn’t be on my phone. I not only deleted them because phone space but also these are dated for June 23 and 25, meaning they would’ve been deleted in June, gone to “recently deleted,” and my phone would’ve permanently deleted them after a month.

Even weirder is they’re at the very end of my photos, like I’ve recently saved them, except if I had rescued these pics then they would be up there with the June pics, not vibing with August. Also it should go without saying but I didn’t save these pics again.

So yeah. It’s either a phone glitch or Pinkttore slowly becoming real and haunting my phone because his wip doc has gone untouched since at the very least July.

Pinkttore’s head is full of botany facts and, oh, wait, he has to feed his baby Petunia (large venus flytrap) in a bit. He specializes in carnivorous plants and lives off the land. He’s completely self sufficient at his remote lab.

Also yes, they absolutely would be besties because dubious science.

Maybe it's just the shade of green, should've stuck with the bright green I originally had in the edit. I layered the og pic on top for like shading/lighting purposes because I couldn't get his hair the right shade of cotton candy pink because of how colour replace works on picsart.

I also wanted to make his accents yellow and pink because of pink lemonade colour palette, and then also just like, swap the blues and pinks for reverse cotton candy man.

If I had a nickel for every time you've dropped poetry in a comment or ask, I think I'd have 15-20 cents. It's not a lot, but I'm really happy it's happened like three or four times :D

There's a funny irony to it because I only joined ao3 to write pants smut, but people mostly know me for my Zhongli fics. By no means am I complaining, I just think it's funny how he's my main squeeze but I barely write for him. I've considered changing it to pinkttore because it does fit the vibes/name better, but I am also very lazy. Plus the blue splatter is iconic. One of my favourite drawings.
