Awakening Intuition and Inner Vision: Unlocking the Power of the Third Eye Chakra
What are Chakras?
Chakras are energy centers in the human body, derived from ancient Indian spiritual traditions, particularly within the practices of yoga and meditation. The word "chakra" comes from Sanskrit, meaning "wheel" or "disk," symbolizing the spinning motion of energy. There are seven primary chakras, each aligned along the spine, and they correspond to different physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our well-being. When these energy centers are balanced, we experience health, emotional stability, and spiritual growth. However, when they are blocked or unbalanced, it may lead to physical, emotional, or mental issues.
What is the Third-Eye Chakra (Ajna) & where is it Placed?
The Third-Eye Chakra, also known as Ajna in Sanskrit (meaning "perception" or "command"), is the sixth chakra in the body and is associated with intuition, insight, and spiritual awareness. It is often considered the seat of our inner wisdom and the gateway to higher consciousness. The Third-Eye Chakra helps us access our intuitive abilities, enabling us to see beyond the physical realm and understand the deeper truths of life.
Location: The Third-Eye Chakra is located in the middle of the forehead, slightly above the space between the eyebrows, at the point known as the "brow point." It is linked to the element of Light and is often symbolized by a deep indigo or purple color, representing wisdom, spiritual awareness, and mental clarity.
When the Third-Eye Chakra is balanced, we experience enhanced intuition, mental clarity, and the ability to see beyond the physical world. It allows us to access deeper levels of consciousness and understand the unseen forces that shape our reality.
Beej Mantra for Third-Eye Chakra (Ajna)
The Beej Mantra (seed sound) for the Third-Eye Chakra is "OM" (pronounced "AUM"). This sacred sound resonates with the higher frequencies of consciousness and is considered the most powerful mantra in many spiritual traditions. The "OM" mantra represents the vibration of the universe and is the sound of creation itself. Chanting this mantra helps activate and balance the Third-Eye Chakra, opening the mind to greater awareness, insight, and spiritual awakening.
Benefits of Chanting Third-Eye Chakra (Ajna) Beej Mantra
Chanting the "OM" Beej mantra has numerous benefits for the mind, body, and spirit:
Enhanced Intuition: The "OM" mantra activates the Third-Eye Chakra, sharpening your intuitive abilities and allowing you to trust your inner wisdom.
Mental Clarity: Regular chanting helps clear mental fog, increase focus, and promote a calm, centered mind, making it easier to make decisions with confidence.
Spiritual Awakening: By opening the Third-Eye Chakra, the "OM" mantra fosters spiritual growth and awareness, allowing you to connect more deeply with your higher self and the universe.
Increased Perception: Chanting the "OM" mantra expands your perception beyond the physical realm, enhancing your ability to see things from a deeper, more enlightened perspective.
Emotional Balance: The Third-Eye Chakra is associated with the mind and mental processes. Chanting the "OM" mantra helps to calm the mind, reduce stress, and bring emotional stability.
Improved Meditation: Regular practice of the "OM" mantra deepens meditation experiences, helping you reach higher states of consciousness and inner peace.
Healing of the Mind: The "OM" mantra promotes mental healing by clearing blockages and negative thought patterns, fostering a sense of peace and tranquility.
How to Chant the Third-Eye Chakra (Ajna) Beej Mantra
To chant the "OM" Beej mantra and activate the Third-Eye Chakra, follow these steps:
Find a Comfortable Position: Sit in a comfortable, upright position. You can sit cross-legged on the floor, on a cushion, or in a chair with your feet flat on the ground. Ensure your spine is straight, and your body is relaxed.
Focus on Your Breath: Close your eyes and take several deep breaths to calm your mind. Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a moment, and then exhale slowly through your mouth. Let go of any tension as you focus on your breath.
Place Your Focus on the Third-Eye Area: Gently bring your awareness to the space between your eyebrows, where the Third-Eye Chakra is located. Visualize a vibrant indigo light or an eye opening at this point, representing clarity and insight.
Chant the Mantra: Begin chanting the "OM" mantra aloud or silently. As you chant, feel the vibrations of the sound filling your head and expanding outwards. Let the sound resonate within your mind, creating a sense of peace and connection with your higher self.
Feel the Sound Vibrating: Focus on how the sound of "OM" vibrates through your body, especially around your forehead and head. Let these vibrations clear any mental clutter or negative thoughts, leaving you with clarity and a sense of openness to new insights.
Continue Chanting: You can chant the mantra for 5–15 minutes, depending on your practice. Maintain a steady rhythm and allow the sound to deepen your experience with each repetition. Let go of any distractions and immerse yourself fully in the vibration of the mantra.
End with Gratitude: After completing your chant, take a few deep breaths, and slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment. Express gratitude for the clarity and insight that the practice has brought you.
Regular chanting of the "OM" Beej mantra can significantly enhance your connection to your higher consciousness, boost your intuition, and deepen your spiritual awareness. By balancing the Third-Eye Chakra, you open yourself to greater mental clarity, wisdom, and perception, allowing you to see the world through a lens of higher truth and understanding. Through consistent practice, you strengthen your ability to trust your inner voice and connect with the deeper aspects of life.

Hanael, Archangel of Venus Talon Abraxas
Hanael, the angel of joy, pleasure, beauty and nature, is the perfect fit for the Archangel of Venus. Meaning “Joy of God” or “Grace of God,” the name Hanael likely stems from the Hebrew words hana'ah plus the suffix –el. Other spellings of the name have included Haniel, Anael and Aniel.
In art and iconography, Hanael’s traditionally depicted dressed in dark, emerald green, and smiling or laughing. She appears more often in female form than in male. In various images, she carries a rose, a lantern, or a wand tipped with a pinecone, called a thyrsus. All of these symbols are deeply intertwined with the planet Venus.
After the Sun and Moon, Venus is by far the brightest object in the sky. So bright that she casts her own shadow, and can even be seen in the daytime, if you know exactly where to look. But, as a planet between Earth and the Sun, to observers on our planet, she never travels far from the Sun before she’s drawn back to its embrace. She is forever dancing between her guise as morning star and evening star.
To the Hellenistic Greeks, who invented our familiar form of astrology, Venus was the ideal icon of love and beauty; she captivates us. In their baser form, these become physical pleasures or the desire to create beautiful works. But in its highest expression, they draw us to union with the Divine, just as Venus is always drawn back to reunite with the Sun.
And so as the Archangel of Venus, Hanael helps us find joy and pleasure in all circumstances, to create beauty in art or music, or harmony in relationships. And, it’s Hanael who reminds that while earthly love is a gift, it’s in divine love that we find our ultimate fulfillment.
Hanael’s rose is also an ancient symbol of Venus. In relation to Earth, Venus’ orbit traces out a five-pointed star every eight years. This beautiful astronomical effect has been called the Rose of Venus, a reference to the five-petalled flower, a favorite of the love goddess.
Hanael’s emerald green tunic evokes the alchemical color of Venus – green – and the fecundity of Nature. It’s Hanael’s gift to make fruitful what was once barren.
The thyrsus carries a similar meaning. Carried by the followers Dionysus, the pinecone-topped wand conjures memes of fertility, pleasure, hedonism and renewal. But on a deeper level, it alludes to another mystery – the union of male and female energies activates the pineal gland, the so-called “third eye” that brings true spiritual vision.
And, we can’t forget Hanael’s lantern. One of Venus’ earliest epithets was “light bringer”; she lights our way back to the divine. In fact, in the Zohar, one of the foundational texts of the Qabalah tradition, it was Haniel who was chosen to carry Enoch to heaven in the Merkabah to encounter God.
On the Qabalistic Tree of Life, Venus and Hanael are represented by the sphere Netzach – meaning “victory” or “eternity.” This Sephirot relates to divine immanence, the light of spirit infusing Nature and ordinary events, as well as our inner world of imagination, intuition and emotion.
When you crave the soothing balm of love and beauty in your life, or when you need to reconnect to the sweetness of the divine, seek Hanael’s aid and counsel. The most auspicious time to call upon her is Friday, Venus’ day, or in the hour of Venus.

What frequency (Hz) music would you listen to for hours in the background?
Hi anon,
These are my favorites, in the order of your current mood/frequency (low to high):
852 Hz - Let go of fear, overthinking & worries (for when you're stuck in a dark place and need to snap out of it)
888 Hz - Attract abundance and prosperity (very gentle, zen music to have in background at any time in general)
639Hz - Attract love, abundance, miracles (high vibration to anchor yourself in throughout the whole day)
963Hz + 852Hz + 639Hz - Miracle Tones | Activate Pineal Gland | Open Third Eye | Heal Heart Chakra (super high vibration! this is my absolute fav to listen to, perfect for visualizing your best self / dreamlife / etc)
I feel like nothing helps as much to get you un-stuck from your current circumstances than simply listening to powerful frequency music while you go about your day.
It anchors you in higher vibration effortlessly.
-L.

Unlocking Spiritual Awareness and Divine Connection: Crown Chakra Beej Mantra
What is the Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) & where is it Placed?
The Crown Chakra, also known as Sahasrara, is the seventh and highest chakra in the body. It is located at the top of the head, just above the crown. This chakra is often depicted as a lotus with a thousand petals, symbolizing the connection to the divine, universal consciousness, and the infinite. Sahasrara represents enlightenment, spiritual awakening, and the realization of one’s connection to the universe. It is the energy center that governs our sense of higher purpose, wisdom, and transcendence.
When the Crown Chakra is balanced, we experience a deep sense of inner peace, spiritual awareness, and a connection to something greater than ourselves.
Beej Mantra for Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)
The Beej Mantra (seed sound) for the Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) is "Om" (Aum). This sacred syllable is the sound of the universe and represents the infinite and eternal nature of the universe. Chanting "Om" is believed to harmonize the energy of the Crown Chakra, helping to awaken and align it.

If you could visit any location from Lovecraft's fictional settings, which would you choose and what would you hope to discover there?
Man hard question, for this I'm going to assume you are just mentioning the Lovecraft books themselves, so I won't factor in series like The King in Yellow, or any other Lovecraft-inspired work not that they would make that much of a difference in the first place.
There are 2 main issues when tackling this question, the first and most prevalent issue is that many locations in the Lovecraftian mythos [that I have read, as I have only finished 32 of his works], just straight up present danger to your life. Dagon, The Shadow over Innsmouth, The Festival, and The Unnamable, are a small list of examples of settings in which hostile creatures or creatures fit to harm you or turn you into something beyond your present self. Although it may be then easy to claim to avoid all the locations that may present some direct threat over the sanctity of your life when you start to question and factor in your sanity, you start to realise just how miserable a lot of his works are to live in. As the events depicted in Pickman's Model, The Music of Erich Zann and Polaris would most definitely make the most ordinary person go insane. So in the case of trying to persevere in your life, continuity of self in a biological sense, and your sanity, most options but not all are completely restricted to you.
The second biggest issue you would face is that outside the realm of cosmic threats, there isn't any reason to go to many of the locations. Lovecraft loves to create stories which not only have the main character be confronted and challenged by unknown horror, but then be pushed into the ordinary world in which no one understands or believes them, making even the reader question whether the events happened or not. So if you decided to simply for example not go to Innsmouth or one of the other cursed locations, you are pretty much gonna live an ordinary life with some ordinary if not slightly more racist individuals as your neighbours, there isn't any remarkable way you would be able to make your life interesting unless you were either to:
•A. Get a hobby, or
•B. Be absorbed by the unknown and occultism and try your damn hardest to reason with being whose intentions are as mysterious as their existence.
So overall there aren't any "beneficial" aspects, like gaining superpowers or becoming cool, if you travel to any of these locations as your average person. I mean the concept of unlocking the pineal gland exists but I have no understanding of how that works.
However, if I had to choose one place to live, out of all his stories it would probably be, Celephaïs. I mean who would want to be king of their dream and become some immortal celestial warrior? I mean there is the consequence of having to disregard reality become an active narcoleptic, and potentially die on the street, however, I'm sure the eternal pros out way the mortal cons. If I weren't the main character of Celephaïs, I would probably choose "The Other Gods", but unlike Barzai the Wise, I would be cool with it and try and befriend the early gods and vibe with The Other Gods that is if they didn't kill me instantly. Maybe I could potentially go to Cats of Ulthar, and try and learn magic somehow, that would be fun, maybe at some point try and find the Necronomicon. The choice would mainly be those, however, to conclude.
Lovecraft's worlds at first seem impossible, unpractically power-scaled, and overall cruel, which they are, there is still a reason that humans exist to that day, mainly due to human ingenuity and determination, so, so long as you don't hit yourself on the foot on purpose you should be fine.
Although at some point all good things do come like humanity, such as referenced in Memories, so perhaps, the worlds are as impossible as they seem.

Notes from Seminar 1/4: Sleep
ADHD ain't just hyperactivity.
"Skills not pills," they say, since part of ADHD treatment is to provide people with coping mechanisms that will let them work around the difficulties of their neurotype. Part of "skills" is awareness of how your brain works and how that affects your life.
How ADHD affects sleep:
You might forget to go to bed, go to bed later, or experience insomnia
a burst of energy as night falls, or Circadian Rhythm Sleep Disorder. These symptoms may arise from smaller pineal glands, irregularities in clock genes, and later melatonin release. Things that may help are Bright Light Therapy as you wake up, or melatonin to help you fall asleep, or timers and alarms to remind you to go to bed.
preferring the nighttime hours as a time to "hyperfocus" on stuff
a "disrupted" sleep-wake schedule that doesn't fit the typical 9-5 job
Restless Leg Syndrome or other limb movement disorders occur in 50% of people with ADHD. May be caused by iron or dopamine deficiencies; treated with iron supplements or dopaminergics.
Trouble waking up or shaking off drowsiness; excessive sleepiness.
To help combat sleep disorders, the presentation recommended:
cut out sugar, caffeine, and alcohol within a few hours of bedtime
avoid screen time for an hour before bed (ask me about my canned rant on this)
avoid stimulating activities and projects that require focus in the evening
make the bed a stress-free zone "reserved for sleep and sex"
get exercise and sunlight during the day
develop a bedtime routine that you enjoy and look forwards to
keep the bedroom cool, dark, and quiet
blanket outside noise using a noise machine or a nature-sounds recording, or calming music
keep a consistent sleep schedule, making sure to get enough sleep for your age group
use a weighted blanket
meditation
basically anything that counts as "soothing", including essential oil diffusers (doubt.jpg)
To help get out of bed in the morning:
bright lights, including Bright Light Therapy, east-facing bedrooms, timers that turn on bright lamps, or alarm clocks that turn on a light gradually.
you may benefit for a specific form of CBT: CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I)
talk to your doc about sleep meds or adjusting your sleep schedule to optimize it for sleep.
(These notes may come with a certain amount of sarcasm or scepticism; the presenter was new to the course and to the course materials, and was reading from the slides a lot. The slides contained a lot of pop-science infographics, and there were some missed connections in the presentation.)
