They’re pretty insistent, those f*ckers outside, ringing the bell next to your door like it was a freaking organ with only one key. They won’t quit, they saw the car in the alley and the open windows on the first floor. It’s a beautiful day, they probably didn’t have much luck bothering the neighbourhood.

“Comin’, comin’!” You half shout in the hallway.

At last, you reach your lobby and open the door to find two pimply young men - boys - gawking at you. Black slacks, white, crisp button down resolutely tucked in their pants and buttoned all the way to the collar, big haversacks full of flyers. Missionaries.

“Afternoon, miss”, one of them manages to squeak while the other is still staring at you, mouth slightly open, “Have you found our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ?”

You adjust the bedsheet you draped yourself into when you left the bedroom a few minutes ago and which is the only rampart between your modesty and two hungry, frustrated, devout virgins that you can already see hardening in their too-tight pants.

“Wouldn’t you like to know?”

You glance behind your door, where Lenny, who seemingly didn’t find any bedsheet left, is sushing you, the index barring his mouth, before taking the cigaret he’s holding in his other hand to his lips. He’s letting ashes drop everywhere he goes. It’s a miracle he didn’t burn himself already.

Before they have time to gather what’s left of their braincells, you slam the door shut to their face and pluck the cigaret out of Lenny’s lips.

“So,” Lenny asks as you make your way back to the bed, “You didn’t answer their question. Did you find our Lord?”

You let yourself fall among the pillows, “Would already have if they didn’t interrupt you, those fools”.

Although it’s not a big must to include a vivid description of your character, it would be ideal because if you don’t, your reader will form his/her own impression which creates a problem if later the character is described, making the reader have to adjust their thinking to suit the description which should never happen.

Little reminders of different physical attributed, habits, gestures, etc., combined with action add to the feel of the character, making them ‘living and breathing beings.’ Some writers may not describe their character and leave it up to the readers to form their own image but remember, this is your canvas, your characters! As a writer, writing character descriptions is important because you are painting the canvas for your readers and no artist leaves any details out. Some ways to write strong characters is starting with physical appearance; since literature is non-visual, a picture is the first step towards building your characters development and instead of focusing on monotone words, choose the adjectives that stand out to you and really go along with the image you have in mind about your character, and think of the characters interests and hobbies; if you mention that your character likes harry potter, your readers might imagine them with some sort of accessory in their outfit that represent him.

Of course, in our life, we see many different people, with many different traits and features, so why not use them? Practicing writing character descriptions that fit the people in your life is a great way to make the description flow easily especially if there was a person who really caught your eye, and you still remember them. Writing descriptions that feature your friends and family will make it easier for you because you’ve spent so much time with them. So try to make a list of possible physical traits and character traits that you’ve observed in your life, like when you meet someone new, what’s the first thing you notice? Think of your first impressions of people and create your own person.

You and your boyfriend have the same birthday week, you bought him a gift he didn't get you shit! the of you argue and in the heat of it your dad walks in to see what's going on, just in time hear you yell this little gem. "FUCK YOU I'M KEEPING IT!" and all hell breaks lose!

Dabi: He heard you screaming and thought B/n had done something to you and barged just in time hear you yell. "FUCK YOU I'M KEEPING IT!" after a few seconds of silence you demanded to know what your boyfriend thought about that? but then you saw the horrified look on B/n's face, you were confused until you felt the temperature in the room spike, causing you start sweating oh...ooh noo....

You looked behind you and saw your very pissed off father standing in the doorway giving your boyfriend the Kubrick stare as smoke emanating from his hands. he slowly started toward B/n planning on burning him to ashes, before you intervened. "Get outta of my way Y/n..." he hissed his cerulean eyes focused on B/n who looked around trying to find an exit!

"Dad, just calm down... before you do something you regret." Dabi shot his daughter a look. "My regret is not carbonizing this pimply faced runt the second you introduced him!" he hissed while B/n awkwardly looked at himself the mirror. "Pimple face?" he whimpered hurt and bemused. Dabi seemed to calmed down, but that didn't mean he still wasn't pissed, he left you room and Y/n coaxed B/n off her bed, a few later days your boyfriend stopped by, still wary of your dad, who at the kitchen table doing a crossword puzzle when you can sprinting down the stairs and hugged B/n. "Okay...but did B/n run?" you shrugged. "I don't know, he's dumb!" your boyfriend protested that remark, then you told him to shut-up and get out of that tree! "I... can't, I kind of climbed up out of fear" B/n stated now realizing how far the ground was, Your dad just smirked and walked over to tree.

 "Just jump I got 'cha boy!" Taishiro said puffing out his stomach B/n complied and landed in your dad's gut, but instead of bouncing out you dad suddenly held B/n in his fat confusing the two teens.
