inevitably whenever you make a funny animal world the question "so what do they eat? how do they make cheese etc" comes up and my answer options I'm debating are 1)the funny animals are a completely different evolutionary path and all of our creatures exist 2) they are all adapted to only eat plants (no beastars type stuff going down here) (although there IS organ selling) 3) they're just standins for human characters, that's all (my answer is 3)
#pillbugtxt#I'm really not trying to say anything by having funny animal characters#they are basically humans#but a) drawing animalistic expressions of behaviour is fun#b) I find it harder to connect with human characters and this is me trying to be cathartic so#basically if they ever eat ice-cream or cheese or eggs: A Wizard Did It#if they ever eat meat: Hammerspace Fridge that creates meat from No Source#idk#I think you have to suspend enough disbelief for my silly little world that I don't actually need to worry about food#as much as I do#girl you should be thinking about the buildings and town name and your mcs houses (me at me)
