Did you ever want to feel the rush of being on top of the world? 🌎 Then adventure seekers, I send you to America’s Mountain, Pike’s Peak! At 14,115 feet above sea level you will see for miles all around you. I commend those who actually do the hike. We did not. We enjoyed a train ride aboard @pikespeakcograilway up the mountain. 🚂 Regardless of whether you hike, train, or drive up to the top bring water for hydration, a sweater, hoodie, or jacket to keep you warm (temperatures drop quite a bit from mountain base to mountain top), and take it slow. It’s not unusual to feel a tad lightheaded. If altitude sickness really kicks in, best to make your way down the mountain.
