Part 4 of Pie and Prince AU

Thank you all so much for your patience. I had really wanted to have this out on Jack's birthday but life got in the way. Here's an extra long part 4 for you all.

Here is Part 3 if you want a refresher and heres the master post if you want to start from the beginning

The thieves, seeing that there are now witnesses, turn their backs and run towards the door to where Jack and Shitty are. Jack and Shitty both draw their swords and jump into action

They are both more skilled than the thieves in fighting, but they are out numbered, so it takes a few minutes for them to knock everyone out .

Except one, who hid and is sneaking up behind Jack, sword drawn.

Shitty barely has time to call out a warning to Jack to watch out before Bitty, who has been hiding behind the counter, leaps over the counter and wacks the side of the bandits head with cast iron muffin pan. The bandit crumbles to the ground, unconscious all before Jack could blink.

They all stare at each other for a second, surprise on everyones faces.

Shitty is beaming at Bitty "Damn, nice hit, we could use a guy like him for the guard"

(And in the moment Bitty now thinks they're both part of the royal guard, which is half true, but this will come back to bite them all in the butt.)

Bitty shakes out of his shock and begins to apologize to the unconscious man for hitting him that hard.

Jack "They were trying to rob you"

Bitty: "Oh, yeah"

Both of them remember that they actually kind of were not on the best of terms.

Bitty awkwardly thanks them both for their help and then wonders out loud how hes going to clean up the mess. Shitty without missing a beat volunteers both he and Jack to help load up the criminals into a cart and take them back to the palace.

Jack sighs but silently agrees to help.

As they are cleaning up the glass, tying up the still unconscious bandits and loading them up into a cart that Bitty let them borrow. Jack is replaying the entire thing in his brain.

Bittle is fast and has good aim, but Jack saw how scared he was of getting hit and after listening in on the conversation with Bitty and Shitty about how this isnt the first time that this (the robberies) has happened, Jack has made up his mind.

Jack is going to teach Bittle how to defend himself or die trying.

The first step is apologizing to Bittle for how he acted. This is going to be harder than what he thought.

I'm not going to make anymore promises on when these are going to be published, as I dont want to brake anymore promises. I would love help with any ideas of what might happen, how to introduce the rest of SMH, etc. I read every tag and notes you all leave here and I wanted to thank you all for the support you all have shown me in writing this. its late so if there are any errors let me know and I'll fix it tomorrow

Hey yall, Daisy here! I made a new side blog dedicated to Check, Please! so if you see me tagging some stuff from @daisyblogging this as my art, I promise you that it is my stuff

Got inspired by Season 1, Chapter 6: "The Hockey Prince". I don't have a plot besides the usual Prince Jack and Baker Bitty.

This was in my WIP file for a while and I'm taking a break from Artfight for a minute, so I set a timer to force myself to finish this piece today no matter what. Also trying out new techniques for lighting and stuff. I might redo some things later, but its done for now! Have a great day y'all!

PART 1 Prince Jack/Baker Bitty AU

Hello y'all,

I didn't have a concrete idea for this picture, but @doggernaut inspired me to actually have an actual plot and maybe some more pictures or an fancomic in the future.

For context, this is what was sent to me by @doggernaut that inspired this post:

"I keep looking at it and thinking about a Prince Jack who’s supposed to be off saving a princess, but can’t help but visit the cute baker who always has a kind smile and warm slice of apple pie for him.

“Sweetheart, you’re here so often I’m starting to think you aren’t really interested in saving that princess.”

PART 1

Prince Jack is Stressed (TM) and Anxious(TM) about his upcoming coronation for Crown Prince. Last time Did Not End Well.

There are so many things he's supposed to get done before then and getting pressure from everyone, including himself.

Then one day a rumor is spread "Princess Lardo has been taken by a fire breathing dragon and must be rescued"

Prince Jack is like ok, I can do this, get out of the castle for a bit but also help someone out and maybe prove that I'm good enough? sign me up

He takes his trusted knight and best friend, Sir Shitty, with him and together they make it through the town, but not before passing a new bakery (Which I decided is when the picture takes place) with a very cute baker is putting out some baked goods.

Jack has no real excuse to go in there at that moment because Princess Lardo might be in trouble, but he secretly hopes that there will come a day where he can say hi.

They continue on there mission to save Princess Lardo from an dragon, but when he and his loyal trusty knight Sir Shitty go to save her, the dragon is actually just a sculpture piece that she managed to get to spew fire. She's not actually trapped there, its just her studio space.

Edit: Part 2

After a conversation, Lardo and Jack decide that he can keep coming there to get all of his paperwork done in a stress free, quiet environment, if he can bring her some supplies and pasteries/food/etc and also bring Shitty.

He very quickly agrees, knowing he know has an excuse to talk to the baker now.

End Part 1

I hope to have a Part 2 up tomorrow.

Part 3 of Pie and Prince

(Authors note: Sorry for the lateness, its been a busy few days at work, heres the master post if you want to start reading this from the beginning)

You think that this meeting is going to go smoothly? Absolutely not. misunderstanding ensue. (Idk what the misunderstanding is but here we are) I think Bitty would think that Jack is insulting him in some way but Jack really isnt trying to.

Jack pays and leaves very quickly, but forgets some very important objects, maybe his father's ring, a very important family relic and the baked goods that he just purchased at the bakery.

Jack finally meets up with Shitty and they end up having to go to the grocer to get Lardo supplies. Shitty tries asking him what happened, but Jack asks him to drop it.

Jack does not notice that the ring is gone till he is laying in bed that night and almost has a full on panic attack, as its a priceless item and if his father found out...he has to find it.

Meanwhile, that evening, as Bitty is cleaning up from the day, he discovers a very beautiful ring that must have been left by someone. Bitty takes it upstairs to keep safe in case the owner returns to retrieve it.

Jack (And Shitty, still half asleep) wakes up extra early in the morning to begin his search, but by midmorning, he is out of ideas except for the bakery. He slowly makes his way there.

When he walks in though, its a stand off between bandits/thieves and Bitty, who have come to rob the bakery

PART 2

Hello y'all! Heres Part Two to the what I'm calling the princes and pies au or the Prince Jack/ Baker Bitty AU.

Here is Part One for you if you dont know what I'm talking about

Part 2

Bitty

Bitty has just moved into town after completing his baking apprenticeship

He has officially told his parents that he wants to move to study more baking techniques/new pastries to bring back to his village, but he is not so sure about if he's actually going to want to go home or not at the end of his studies

Bitty has been working there for just a few weeks when he makes eye contact with the most handsome man he's ever met

As he is new to the city, he has no idea who Jack is

He has no idea when or if he'll ever see the man again, but he goes to bed that night dreaming of his icy blue eyes and hopes that he will see him again

A few days later his wish comes true when the handsome stranger walks into the bakery

Bitty almost drops his pie

Jack

It takes a couple days for Jack to be able to sneak out again and he has to go in disguise.

He plans on meeting up with Shitty later after his meeting with the Captain of the guard so that they can go to Lardos together

Jack arrives at the bakery

the handsome man from the previous day is there but Jack apparently startles him, causing Bitty to almost drop the pie.

Honestly idk how the rest of the interaction would go, if it would follow more of canon (Aka misunderstandings/ jack being a bit of a jerk and or awkward etc) or if it would be more wholesome (suggestions are very much encouraged, I have more of the late middle and ending in my brain)

Also I'm putting out a poll, I can see this story going two ways so I would love some input
