One of the most legitimately sweet things I've been told thus-far is that - through my obsession and embodiment of a fictional guy - that I have inspired a pre-affection of sorts from someone who knows nothing about said character.

To me that says "Hello, friend. My partner has told me that despite never going to the places you tread in perpetuity, she sees the fictional man you adore from there.

How do you feel about anthrax

cutaneous, gastrointestinal, & injected: meh

inhaled: TERRIFYING. WONDROUS. VERY SCARY.

very very scary poison. i love poisons that mimic natural illnesses for obvious reasons. anthrax is woefully under...loved? i don't know what word to use. people only tend to know about it's use on US soil, but the bioterrorism it's been used for is actually quite rich and storied with lots of terrifying examples thruout history. the fact that it is a bacteria that forms SPORES is also just so cool to me, a combination of three of my favourite things in one (poison, illness, & fungi)

How many fandoms have you written for?

Well, currently still attached to my name on AO3 I have works in nine fandoms. Although I've orphaned works from other fandoms over the years.

What’s your favorite fic on your Ao3?

Tied between [Between You & Me] because I'm just so damned proud of that one. It was such an intricate planning process to tell a novel-length story that's half told through narrative flashbacks. The other fave would be the [Fooled Around (and Fell in Love)] series. Even though neither of these are my most read fics by any stretch, they're both really important to me and I adore them so much because both BY&M and the entire FAAFIL series were so self-indulgent to write, and that's not something I can say about most of my other works.

Have you posted elsewhere? If yes, which of those fics is your favourite? 

I started writing fanfic in Live Journal groups in 2007. I've since ported that first fic to AO3, so it can be safe from the constant worry my LJ will be lost to time. People have been really supportive of it on AO3 over the years, even though I haven't been in that fandom since probably 2010 and someone has even translated it to another language now. Wild!

How many bookmarks do you have on AO3?

Currently have 78 bookmarks. 42 of those are part of my Friday Fic Recs collection. And while most are Criminal Minds fics, there are some other fandoms in there too.

How many unread comments do you have?

Hahahahaha, oh god. I never empty my inbox. I have 284 unread comments, which are mostly just replies to my comments on other fics. I always reply to comments left on my works.

Any subscriptions?

Four subscriptions to specific works and six author subscriptions. Amazingly, none of them are CM fics/writers?!

Any favourite tags?
