what do i love the most? parallels! so here are some ipk moments that got a callback further in the series so i ~combined~ them (also, some of the transitions aren't the best but i tried oof) in no particular order:

arnav emulating khushi for *clears throat* completely valid reasons (even though it was okay when he did it? *cries dramatically* are you okay sir?)

sambhal liya! humesha sambhalta rahunga *blush blush*

when arnav let go vs when he held on <3 <3 (this one has my heart, the level of emotions that changed in these characters between that period!)

all three entries of khushi in shantivan iykyk

arnav learning to do khushi's patti from watching buaji do it (khushi: aap hume itna kareeb se dekhte hain, hume pata nahi tha *bats eyes*)

heartfelt confessions in gazebo (when she was leaving and he apologized vs when he was leaving and she held his hand pre dhak dhak)

arshi on mandir steps on teej and shadi (this is just so beautiful like???)

sitaareeeee (aur phir jo bhi kuch hua 🤭)

DOES HAPPILY EVER AFTER EXISTS?

I have grown up loving fairy-tale, every bit of it from talking animals to fairy godmother’s magical chant. But what is that one thing every fairy-tale has in common? The protagonists of the play get together & live happily ever after. Well, real life isn’t always the same, there is a very thin line in-between, called delusion. Many fall into the trap of finding “the one” and believing all problems will get whipped out right after (thereby stepping into unrealistic love). Everyone desires a relationship until they realize it’s not always unicorns & daises. Their illusion breaks pretty soon after stepping into adulthood. Time grows & the perspective changes. People mature & interests develop. (This creates a conflict among many as they fail to find a way where they can co-exist even with differences in opinion).

Happiness isn’t a constant thing there will be arguments, financial struggles, changed interest, external interferences & whatnot but does that mean happily ever after doesn’t exist? The unrealistic illusion is the biggest myth. When Rahul said, “Pyar Ek bar hota hai, Shadi Bhi Ek he bar hoti hai” people fell in love with the concept only to later realize it did not had any profound base. There is no such thing as falling in love only once. You can fall multiple times. Rather than seeing relationships as something to be found, normalize it as something to be built. Take that extra mile & even then if things fall apart, happily ever after will show up, maybe not exactly how you planned but maybe even better (irrespective of a partner). Kyuki agar aant mai sab thek na ho toh, picture Abhi Baki hai mere dost!!!🧡
