okay so i know the finale made us all Feel Things. tbh I don't think I can sit down & get them all out clearly rn, esp Sarawatine-related stuff, but here are other things i MUST get out of my system:

obv Mil knew that Phukong had feelings, it was clear the day he gave the watch-- he was gently discouraging phukong & putting distance between them. but after seeing the drawing with Phukong in it & how Mil checked up on Phukong's results, it's clear that shit was done In Vain. so him agreeing to meet with phukong, knowing what that implies, knowing this is them both taking a step towards naming whatever it is between them... Growth™.

and then for Mil to still take tine to the hospital regardless of where he's expected to be?? genuinely upset abt tine's health? even though he had zero clue what was actually happening so mayyybe not yell at wat Mil was there for tine the morning after, no hidden agenda involved? just giving genuine advice??

and the way Mil used his "asshole" image to persuade Wat into rehearsing & doing the competition?? I mean at this point it's safe to say he's realized that the Tine ship has sailed, no point asking him out. but still Mil gets under wat's skin to motivate him

the way he was genuinely sorry for missing their date, but even so Mil didn't bother to correct phukong abt asking tine out if he wins, bc Mil knows he's seen as an asshole (he literally said it in ep 13) & thinks others only see him as that so why bother denying it?

I know this might sound repetitive but I just can't help but say that this episode was so cute and fluffy. Well other than the ambush part and Mil being an asshole. Fong with the brain cells and very insightful quotes this episode. Phukong getting revenge for Sarawat peak sibling behavior.

dare i say this was the best 2gether episode yet? i truly mean it when i say this was a step up from everything we’ve had so far--which is already unbelievable to me.

we got domestic sarawat x tine, we got them flirting and being shy, their radiant smiles, so much hurt/comfort and the absolute yearning of them both being injured and not being able to reach other. we got them supporting and caring for each other (tine not wanting sarawat wanting to play because he was scared mil would do something, sarawat bringing him food, generally taking care of each other, tine trying to make up for sarawat not being able to play by practicing his own show himself and sarawat helping him through that). we got to see them spending more time with each other almost as a reflex. we got to see sarawat be honest about his feelings. we got to see them be physically affectionate with each other, make jokes with each other, tease each other, be comfortable with each other.

not just that... but the friendships and the supporting characters were also so good this episode. we got to see fong as a perceptive friend who knows enough about tine to essentially psychoanalyse him and prove theories that we’ve had about him for ages, we got to see his gentle friendship with tine as the person who basically knows him best. we got to see green and p’dim be affectionate with each other and green not as a villain or an antagonist, but rather a friend who supports and cheers tine on during his efforts. we got to see some of earn and pear being these supportive friends as well, pear going along with tine’s idea and earn saying that ctrl s isn’t the same without sarawat. we even got to see phukong square up and confess to mil that sarawat is his brother. i feel most importantly--we got to see the easy yet deep friendship sarawat has with man and boss. how they stuck up for him and were ready to fight for him, how they both got injured during the match and still tried to stay in for him, how they tease him but worry about him and take care of him, how they’re the dumbest yet best wingmen. the secondary characters this episode were all... so good, i feel. i wish we had seen more of the women, however.

so, yeah. this episode was a gem.

Chat had a hard time keeping a straight face. Of course he knew who Fong was. He was Mil's best friend after all. And what kind of best friend would he be if he didn't vet Mil's crush and social circle the moment he heard of Tine Teepakorn's existence?

He had spent hours scrolling through several social media pages until he came across Fong's. He couldn't pinpoint the reason for it, but when he saw his pictures, a sudden fondness rose up in his chest. He had shaken his head and chuckled at his foolishness of feeling like this after only looking at one picture.

That's also how he found out about Phukong being Sarawat's brother. He hadn't said anything to Mil, because he didn't think it was relevant. Also because he didn't think the high schooler would be this persistent in trying to make Mil his'.
