Les petits dieux sont en général des haut-relief monolithique, parfois solitaire, parfois rassemblés en un point. Les ensembles sculptés d’un seul tenant sont rare, comme cet exemple, surnommé ‘la Madone des Voyageurs’. De nos jours, ce groupe est considéré comme représentant une déesse protectrice des itinérants et ses protégés, mais comme la grande majorité des petits dieux, il n’existe pas de noms ou de mythes associés. Il pourrait tout aussi bien s’agir d’une statue commémorant un évènement (exil, bannissement), représentant un rituel, une procession ou en mémoire d’un personnage local maintenant oublié. On peut noter que le visage de la Madone elle même est d’un style différent de celui des autres sujets, mais il est impossible de définir si c’est le visage de la Madone qui a été retouché ou celui des petits sujets qui ont été modifiés ou rajoutés par la suite. Le seul évènement enregistré au sujet de cette statue concerne le choc qu’elle a subit sur le front de la Madone, lors de l’invasion Queltiranne il y a cent quarante deux ans. Un soldat aurait voulu détruire une idole, sans parvenir à l’endommager plus qu’une simple fissure. Le folklore local insiste qu’il aurait été maudit à ne jamais retrouver le chemin de sa maison, mais les archives perdent sa trace quelques années plus tard lors de la déroute de leur armée. Quoi qu’il en soit, sacrifier au rituel local d’étaler un peu de poudre colorée sur le front de la Madone ne peux pas faire de mal.

Heyaa! Pls don't be sorry!! I'm always happy to talk about gifmaking stuff 🫶🏼 for my gifs I use Photoshop and i try to get always the highest quality video content ☺️

Edit: I also forgot to mention that for som stage gifs I use vapoursynth before opening Photoshop since the videos need a little pre-processing

sometimes i look into modern gif making tutorials and im ???? my brothers and sisters in photoshop has the art of the open image sequence been lost. have we evolved backwards. why are you loading images into stacks and reversing and setting speed manually and having to use sharpening actions (for up to 250 frames, wowza!) when, in fact, you could do none of that and easily work on a smart object. society has evolved past the need for loading images into stacks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
