Photo edit fails

:clears throat: :waves hi: I’m back? Getting back into Simming after too long away, and what better way to jump in than a photoedit fail?  In-game photoshoot, popped it into Pixlr X, duplicated image, okay so far: 

Until I try a filter. Then, no matter what, we get something like this: 

Yeah, rusty. Poor Jacqueline. She’s a good sport. I suspect my issue is only one incredibly simple click away.
