Blue-tailed Bee-eater’s Dreams
‘I was born and grew up in Sri Lanka. Because of the political, social, and cultural situation I had to migrate to England in 2007. Since then I have only visited Sri Lanka twice. As a result, my memories of certain locations in Sri Lanka, particularly my village, are fading. In this work, I strive to recollect the memories and feelings of being there as I continue to feel the pain of adapting to my new home’
