MH wrote this poem when inspired by the peachy plumes of her first Moluccan cockatoo love, Mozart I. Five Moluccans later, after losing each one to avian proventricular dilatation disease, her last Moluccan is also named Mozart and was the most fantastical of all of them. This Mozart had spent 17 years in a closet before coming to BES 13 years ago.
