"You're one too, arn't you?" Somewhere from above Sync comes a voice - the owner in question a young girl perched on a wall. She doesn't seem scared like most people he comes across.

Sync looked up, frowning. Who was this little redhead girl asking him a question like that. "What are you talking about?" His tone may have come out harsher than intended. A bad habit of his that he failed to fix. Sighing, he tried to rephrase himself. "What exactly are you asking? And who are you?"

Luke got to see the small red haired girl only momentarily before she first yelled at him. Then, he felt himself all wet the next second. Damn she was fast with that. But also, he still had no idea who she was or why she was here at Guy’s house.

Luke just sighed as he stood up and walked down the hall to the bathroom. He found a towel and tried to dry himself off a bit with it.

She has Luke’s coat on as she carries a basket of fresh laundry around the manor.

Luke poked his head around the corner to find little miss Layla carrying a basket of laundry...while wearing his jacket. His jacket that engulfed her. He suddenly worried she would trip over it. The coat tails probably wouldn’t stay behind her forever.

One of the maids stopped and was talking to her, allowing him an opportunity to come over as well. Smiling, he crouched down. “Hey, it looks good on you. Do you like it?”

“...She’s going to trip and hurt herself, how can you say that?” The maid inquired.

“’Cause it looks good on her.” Luke thought maybe, just maybe if he just tried to talk to her about it he might get his jacket back. He knew she was probably going to fall at some point, but every time they talked she got mad or yelled at him. Maybe this way they could have an actual conversation.

The maid reluctantly went away, muttering she wasn’t responsible for any damages to the child or something.

“Well, do you like it? My jacket I mean.” Continuing to smile, he hoped they could just talk.
