This is my #StarcrossedSweater that I knitted & finished during #Quarantine. It’s made from @malabrigoyarn in black & Anniversaire. It was a dream to knit & my first time doing a #BottomUpSweater! @jacquelinecieslak really is an amazing garment designer & I knew she wouldn’t lead me astray with this. The best part about this sweater is that my bosses, Heather & Dave from @gooddogbar gave me the GC to buy the yarn for my birthday! I’ve since been indefinitely laid off due to the COVID-19 crisis, & while we may not work together again... I’m so happy to have so many amazing memories with them & this awesome sweater as a physical reminder of their kindness & guidance. I have finished my #SOLTank by @jacquelinecieslak & I am so excited to wear it! I love that it’s made with @hedgehogfibres with the color way based on a picture of the @philamuseum commissioned by @loopyarn. Some #PhillyPride for the few times I walk outside these days. I’m so excited to participate in @jacquelinecieslak new #KAL #SunsOutKnitsOut! I’m making her #SOLTank Pattern & I’m so excited to wear it! I’m using @hedgehogfibres Potluck in a color way made specifically for @loopyarn based on a picture of the Philadelphia Art Museum from a year or so ago (I don’t know the name, need an assist here... just says potluck 😬). Once I’m done with this I’m gonna make myself a headband from the lace pattern based on #JacquelineCieslack #PatternHack suggestion on her blog. Ps. Totally finished my #TestKnit of the #NamuSweater by @knitboop in @knerdstring Muir, purchased @loopyarn. When I first applied to test knit for Yu Ra, I was so nervous that I asked @websterstreetknittery to screen any of my questions about the pattern, in case they were dumb (I seriously did this). Once the process started it was so comfortable, easy, inclusive. Any testers giving suggestions, asking questions, etc were heard and answered immediately. It was such a positive experience, I cannot wait to do it again! Thank you Yu Ra!
