Catalogue devoted to Niki de Saint Phalle's Tableaux éclatés (Burst paintings), a vast series of works created as an homage to Jean Tinguely after his death—paintings composed of cut-out shapes set in motion by motorized devices as spectators pass by (drawing on Tinguely's "Méta-reliefs" formula while developing Niki de Saint Phalle's own themes and plastic vocabulary)—, first shown at the ARC in 1993, in the artist's retrospective exhibition orchestrated by Suzanne Pagé. The book's pop-up cover allows to recompose the pattern of a painting using pull tabs!

Acculé par des dettes de jeu contractées au casino le Pélican de Jade à Monaco, le galeriste de L’Espace à Vendre, Bertrand Barraudou a convié la 3eme Narine à lui pondre un projet d’exposition bankable, ultime tentative désespérée pour échapper à la faillite …

Pendant 9 semaines, 27 œuvres de 27 artistes passés sous la plume de l’auteur sont tirées au sort et accrochées au rythme de 3 tous les 7 jours. Une exposition instable au nom improbable dont le sens en suspens se rejoue à chacun des accrochages et recule in extremis l’arrivée des huissiers.

In San Francisco in the 70's and in Paris in the 80's, one could expect Jérôme Frazer to know it all about the homosexual liberation movement worldwide. If boys were of course present in his surrounding, his dedication to ballet was however always his major concern. Dancing was for him a calling and when the time was over to be on stage, to work in the most legendary techno dancing clubs of Berlin was just an evidence.

Full of life and humble, he still shines like a wise man. JuNK is very proud of his hosting tonight!
