Imagine having a better understanding on how one of your closest friends is being repeatedly traumatised, conditioned and being forced to suffer but said friend doesnāt even know the full extend of it. Sure itās obvious that the Federation is the cause for majority of that, but it doesnāt make it easier to process just how bad it is.
Fit being able to tell exactly why Phil is acting the way he is based on the things he read in there.. M A N-
And he canāt even fully ask Phil about it either, because god, who knows how Phil would react to all of that information? He wouldnāt be surprised if they conditioned Phil into walking right back to their buildings if he even knows anything more.

#so i had a dream and honestly it was a little bit scary#basially dan was saying how he was scared of coming back bc of fear of rejection#and he didnāt want people to be mad if he was to release anything bc he hasnt interacted properly with us since BIG#he looked so lost and scared and honestly it really made me want to cry#he said he didnt want to do anything with phik bc it would be branded ādan and philā and he felt that that was such a big ābrandedā thing to#which meant being ādan and philā was something he felt they had both grown from and didnt want to be known for that anymore.#he still wanted to do something with phil but to just be daniel howell andphil lester collabing#and it just makes me so sad bc dan and phil can do whatever the fuck they want and i hate that dan feels like that#(obviously ik its a dream so dan could obviously have different thoughts and feelings irl) but#it just made cry bc i love this man and to think he was crying to phil about being a disappointment made me weep#dan howell we love you#sorry for the ārantā but i felt i needed to share
