my favorite dewtom dynamic is phantom, who (pretty obviously) thinks that dew is the coolest ghoul ever, and dew, who (secretly) loves the attention and purposefully "acts cooler" just to see phantom fawn over him

im thinking specifically about the video of dew during square hammer resting his arm on the fretboard of his guitar, looking all nonchalant into the crowd, and phantom, who is standing directly behind him, switching rapidly between looking at his guitar and looking at dew... (i could also get into phantoms obsession with dews hands but ill save that for another day.)

and its not like dew doesnt reciprocate any feelings - he thinks phantom is the cutest thing on earth, which is why he constantly tries to impress him. he likes seeing phantom all wide-eyed and flustered. and its not like hes living to impress phantom per-se, he just starts doing more things with phantom in mind, like running his hand down his body a bit longer than usual during mummy dust or leaning into phantom when he rests his head on dews shoulder.
