Oh you're really lost. Fine. I'll explain it.

On September 11th 2001, 24 year old Gerard Arthur Way was working as an animator at the Cartoon Network headquarters in New York City, when a plane struck the twin towers. After witnessing this event, Gerard decided that he wanted to do something that mattered instead of slogging away at a corporate job. So he decided to start a band. That band was My Chemical Romance.

Fast forward to 2014. The phandom (Dan and Phil fandom) is thriving on tumblr and so is their ship (phan). There was a lot of crossover with fans of MCR, Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco, aka The Emo Trinity. This led to one fan unknowingly changing the course of history by posting the following imagine:

"No but seriously imagine it:

You’re seeing fall out boy on a concert. Everyone is having a great time. Fall out boy seem a little excited. “We have a surprise for you guys.” Partick says. All of a sudden P!ATD come out and start singing “this is gospel.” When Brendon gets to the chorus, someone else starts singing… “When I was a young boy my father took me into the city to see a marching band.” Lights flash everywhere, and you see FOB singing “this is gospel” along with P!ATD, while MCR is singing “Black parade”. Everyone in the crowd is going wild and crying. Then if things couldn’t get any better, Dan and Phil walk onto stage and kiss, holding the gay flag."

Pretty harmless, if not a bit cringe.

Years later, however, the post got reblogged by popular tumblr user @/heritageposts. After that, it became a meme that spread outside of tumblr to the rest of the internet.

Fast forward AGAIN to October 2023. Dan and Phil are back to making videos together on their joint gaming channel after 5 years of being solo creators. They are both out and proud and their romantic relationship is an open secret amongst fans.

On October 11th, MCR and FoB are announced as the headliners of the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ok, that alone isn't TOO much of a coincidence. They were the kings of the emo scene after all. However...the festival also happens to fall on the 15th anniversary of Dan and Phil meeting for the first time.

The internet goes WILD. How could the stars have aligned THIS perfectly?! Adding fuel to the flames, Phil Lester then quote retweets the announcement with "no seriously imagine it". Now the internet is ABLAZE. He knows about the meme?! Does that mean they might do something for the bit??? No way...unless?

Fast forward yet AGAIN to June 2024. Dan and Phil announce the dates for their new tour and they just so happen to have October 19th off. Not only that...but it's between their LA and Salt Lake City, Utah shows. If you don't know anything about US geography, the fastest route from LA to Salt Lake City is through Nevada.

The internet is SCREAMING. They MUST have planned their tour this way because they're going to the festival, right??? Will the prophecy (or phrophecy) actually be fulfilled???

Then Dan and Phil stoke the flames even MORE when they take a selfie of themselves with a fan's cardboard cutout of Gerard Way at one of their shows and Phil says "we need this for the thing on the thing day".

The day finally comes. The When We Were Young festival is in full swing. People are waiting with baited breath to see if Dan and Phil will take the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever. It gets close to the end of the day and people are starting to give up hope. When finally...FINALLY, Dan and Phil post a TikTok. The TikTok you came across and were probably baffled by.

And that's why 9/11 is indirectly responsible for Dan and Phil posting a video where they almost kiss while holding the gay pride flag.

Note: I said GAY pride flag because of the wording of the original post :)

Tl;dr: MCR wouldn't have been created if 9/11 never happened. If MCR never existed, then the "no but seriously imagine it" post would have never been made. The emo scene might not have blown up the way it did either, meaning the When We Were Young Festival would have never happened. Hence, 9/11 led to Dan and Phil almost kissing while holding the gay pride flag.

After his mom's death, Hudson feels as if he's adrift in the ocean- no buoy in sight. The only thing keeping him from drowning are his best friends & the secret feelings he harbors for one in particular. Owen has a great life with his moms & longtime girlfriend, but has always felt like there was a certain piece missing from his life- a giant looming uncertainty. Now, he's decided to start searching for his birth parents. Even though life-of-the-party Emilio keeps his signature cool & confident smile on his face, it's not strong enough to hide the pain he feels after the former love of his life- his ex Harry, dumps him. The artistic optimist Roseline has kissed many frogs & now believes she has found Mr. Right- by the way of a leather wearing guitar playing rocker. But what if Prince Charming was a lot closer to home? Analytical & independent, aspiring filmmaker/photographer Iris has her entire life planned out. The Ghost of Las Vegas|| Closed Phan AU

Phil? What? Oh..*breath* sorry..who am I speaking to? Oh..let’s just say..it’s him..but better..and that voice is so sexy. Phil!..*breathes* What are you doing?...SHhh Beta...This can’t be you..it’s not like you.. It’s not...

Dan and Phil had just finished their honeymoon buzz, living comfortably in Manchester. Dan had gone into adolescent psychology, working as a school counsellor and working up to be a part of a larger program that helps out youth. He wore his ring religiously, he polished it twice a week and kissed Phil goodbye every day when he went to work. Things felt like a dream, he could get up in the morning and smile at his husband, go to work. He’s motivated, and Phil was motivating him. He was happy, Phil was happy. Zack became a bit of a joke to them and would show up routinely to settle a petty fight brought on by overworking and immaturity.

They hadn’t spoken much about children, much less how’d they’d do it. Their conversations about the future were just as small and baseless as their arguments. Phil was ready, he wanted the settled life of kids and a home with his husband and continue his work as a film production assistant and producer to PJ mostly because he’d gotten bigger and maybe getting some bigger things to work on at the same time.

He was going to get what he asked for, just maybe not in the way would want such a blessing to fall into their lap. It all started when an old friend was treating the newlyweds.

“Well I don’t care, I don’t like how handsy and possessive she is about you when we’re around each other,” Dan explained, brushing his teeth, then walking into their bedroom and putting the toothbrush and toothpaste into a small plastic bag and threw it into his suitcase.

“Dan, she’s just...a little too friendly. And I’ve already talked to her about it and she said that she’s going to talk to you and me so that we reach an understanding-” Phil started to explain before being cut off.

“I’m married. I’m not trying to ‘understand’ how a girl doesn’t know when to give up because she thinks she’s entitled to you in some weird way. I go through it enough..Why does no one think I can handle being with you?!” Dan snapped, face red with an upset. It was very annoying, “You...I know you’re not perfect and I’m not...the strongest, but you love me...why is that anyone’s business?-”

Phil understands, Zack is eating this up. He’s so enveloped in the fact that it gets him every time. And that he’s made all of their friends and some family against him because, honestly, he could do better. However, he’s so much easier to control than others- it doesn’t take much. As they finish their quick hug, he sighs at the other and gives him a smirk, “You’re gonna be okay with your parents?”

“Yeah, pfft! You kidding? Ever since we got married, they’ve been so excited about my married life and things, so I just get to keep talking to them about how things are going and what we share and all of that,” Dan explained, “Also my brother wanted to ask about my honeymoon..I’m looking forward to going home for the first time in a while..” He really was, and he wished he could have his man with him to make it all worth it, but Cat wants him, and he’s gotta be fair.

“Well I’m going to talk to her about taking over her lease in the states, so we have a summer home when she moves to Las Vegas...It’ll be nice, right?” Phil assured him, “It’s mostly business and catching up...she plays poker and stuff now, you know?”

“It just means she’s better at lying,” Dan giggled.

Cat and Phil hugged as he walked from baggage claim and quickly loaded his things into the car.

“Vegas, huh? It’s crazy thinking you live among all this...gambling and buffets..and water displays,” Phil started as Cat drove.

“I play poker competitively now...I’m really getting into it, and I really really needed the cash,” she explained, giggling. Her chest rising and falling with a big sigh.

“So uhh..you getting a smaller place right?”

“Yes, I am, and you guys said you wanted to take over my lease..I was wondering how..that was going to work,” she began. Phil sighs, “No, no, no! I mean it! You guys don’t have permanent citizenship in the US...”

“We do now..we have dual citizenship between here and the UK so that we don’t have to fly so far to go home to relax.”

“Well, what’s gonna happen when you guys have kids, you know?”

“Probably gonna keep the house, so they understand that their parents have a proper experience about our two places we love. We’d probably send them to school in the UK, though..summers, Christmas in the US, that kind of thing.”

“Oh...so..you guys have all the paperwork to apply then?”

“Oh yea, absolutely..”

“It’s a..pretty stressful process, you know, gotta make sure that your income and credit line up. Criminal background checks and...things..It’s Vegas, after all, they don’t need gangsters and mob bosses moving into their facilities temporarily and things like that.”

“Well I’m sure it’ll be a lot easier seeing as we’re just a gay couple,” Phil chided with a soft chuckle.

“You’d think so..it’s a little tricky,” Cat said slowly, making a turn towards the long road from the airport to her new apartment, “I just remembered that I left the keys at my place..uhh is it alright if I go and grab it?”

“Yeah, yeah...no problem. You can give me a tour while I’m there!” Phil said, looking at the upside.

Cat turned the car in the direction of her new place as they continued talking for some time; then an awkward silence fell over the vehicle. Phil knew what it was about. It was the same old conversation- well, argument.

“Phil, I am really proud of you for doing your thing and I’m glad I can help you anyway that I can,” Cat began after taking a deep breath.

“Don’t start,” Phil cut her off, knowing this beginning too well, “I can’t believe you’d even talk about this outside of our wedding day, you promised!”

“I know what I promised, but-”

“But nothing. You are not always going to bend rules and cross boundaries because you see something that you want-”

“Phil, all I know is that things weren’t this stressful when we were together. You weren’t bisexual when I met you. You and I were having so much fun-”

“Zach is why you liked me being with you,” he mentioned.

“Who the hell is Zach? I recall only being with you and what you and I did-”

“Cat-”

“Are you even replacing your memories of me with memories of another guy?! I cannot- actually cannot-”

“Catherine, shut the fuck up!” Phil snapped, causing Cat to immediately stop and look at the man and then quickly back to the road as they were at the stoplight. Phil was slightly panting and staring the girl down to imply that he was serious. “Zach- okay well, you see...Zach is me, but it’s a whole other part of me. He’s aggressive, sexual, and, more importantly, manipulative. I’m bisexual, yes, so what happened between us was real, but it’s only from what I remember. Back then, I didn’t really know or remember anything else. They’re Zach’s memories.”

“So...like a twin?” Cat asked, furrowing her brow as she finally was listening to Phil.

“Yeah, something like a twin. He just liked to come and go with my anxiety and I didn’t really know that until I was at the Youni and I got treated for it. They made me keep a journal for when I had any thoughts that weren’t my own, to Zach filling the book out himself and even though I love Dan, he’s his obsession. Meaning that good or bad, he wanted Dan. He had already worked you through and so he was setting up how things were going to be.”

“Oh...wow...so this apartment thing-”

“Is both an apology and me showing Zach who has control here.”

“That-That....It sounds like a really tough thing to go through. I’m sorry Phil...Well, why don’t I..uhh take you out, to dinner or lunch?! After the tours we can grab some food at this place that I take my friends to on their birthdays, I mean, it’s not your birthday, but you’ll like it a lot!” Cat said as they pulled into her parking space in her garage.

They toured the large suite and played with Beta for a little while before they grabbed the keys and went back out to the other apartment. Their drive had gone so normal and casual, like back when they were in school together. They hung close and when they got to the apartment, she looked at the large space again and sighed. Phil came up to her and put his arm around her shoulders. She leans into the touch and smiles at him rubbing her arm. He kisses the top of her head and walks her out of the apartment. “You’ll be okay, I promise. You’re gonna be the 20-time World Series of Poker Champion Cat Valdez with a.. I dunno, a Pepsi sponsorship...” Phil reassured her, knowing how hard it was for her to have to sublet and turn the lease over for the apartment to live in a smaller place with only one dog.

[Incoming Call: Daniel]

Hey Sweetie! How’s your jet lag?

*groans, sighs* Ugh..it’s harder when I didn’t have you to sleep with on the plane..

Oh baby...*chuckles softly*

How’s it going with the witch?

She uhh..took it well. She did come around to what was going on after I had explained...

But..?!

No-No! No “but”. She’s completely understood what’s going on and she told me that she apologizes for making our relationship hard and any part of our marriage hard...

Wow..well, only time will tell

I know, Danny...Let’s just be happy we can sleep in the states after this.

You mean sleep in the states alone?

Yeah, sleep in the states alone.

Several Weeks Later....

Dan and Phil sit quietly, cuddled up and scrolling through Twitter and not really watching some TV show. They would exchange small kisses and jokes here and there and the two could not be happier or more at peace. Phil’s phone rings and when Dan sees it, he moves back a little, looking at him confused.

“She wouldn’t call you unless it’s important,” Dan reassured himself, and answered it for him, but quickly handed him the phone. He got up and grabbed the empty bowl on the coffee table and walked into the kitchen. Phil could hear water running as he washed out his bowl and heard Cat’s voice over the phone.

“Uhh is Dan there?” she asked, timidly.

“You know he is, he’s gone a stepped into the kitchen for a tick. What’s wrong? Is everything alright?” he asks, his stomach beginning to turn. To be safe, he put the call on speaker.

“So I don’t want to alarm you, but uhhhm. You said that when Zach is present, you like..don’t remember what happens bc it’s a completely different set of memories right?”

“Yeah...why? Did something happen?”

“It’s more of what already happened-”

“Catherine!” Dan piped up as he walked back into the room, “What the actual fuck are you saying?”

“I’m saying, before I was rudely interrupted, that I’m pregnant!” Cat said, now exulting a smile in her voice and now her distress sounds more like pride. He can hear her holding herself and laying her bed with Beta, biting her lip in anticipation.

“Ha, very funny. Nice to hear from you again,” Dan blurted, completely incredulous that she called them with a prank. The prolonged silence and distress on Phil’s face, soon melted his sass into rage, “Phillip Michael Lester-Howell....is she telling the truth?”

“I’m telling the truth. I’m 5 weeks already. They told me the time of conception was around the last time I saw Phil-”

Dan immediately hangs up the phone when he rips it out of Phil’s hand, putting it on the couch and storms into their bedroom. He was so blind with rage and upset. He did a few laps around their bed, and then went into the hall closet to grab his luggage. He began silently, yet aggressively packing much of his dark clothes as tears began to stream down his face.

Phil was frozen. The color he had left had vanished from his face and he was a statue. He called Cat back and took a deep breath, “What happened?” she asked before he could even say anything.

“Dan’s leaving,” he said gruffly and quiet, “And I don’t know what will happen next.”

“What will happen next...is that I come out to England and get the best maternal care that you have to offer me.”

What?

Dan, h-how’s work going on for you? Alright yeah?

Yea I guess. How’s the alien doing? Is she done vomiting all over our house?

Not quite.

Where is she even sleeping? S-

Don’t. She doesn’t sleep with me. She sleeps in the guest room. She told me it’s more comfortable because our bed is too soft.

That’s good. So if I came over I could smell you all over my side.

Yes, I wish I didn’t have the whole bed to myself...

Well until the bed you made leaves, I’m standing my ground, babe. I miss you though...

This is stupid. Why can’t you live with her?

I get that. I barely see him. He’s usually out or he’s talking to PJ or Joey or something. Also he works, so he’s usually busy.

On Make-up

My first lipstick was a sheer, pastel shimmer, courtesy of my mom and Mary Kay. Who knows how old it was, but it was my first and I carried it around in my little denim purse all through 6th grade. Later came colored mascara and bright eyeliners, all from walmart. No Sephoras or Ultas anywhere near me, makeup either came from the drugstore or the counters at jc penneys when we drove an hour to Huntington. Estee Lauder was mom’s favorite, I’d get bits and pieces from kits and freebies in colors mom didn’t like.

Granted, I wasn’t very good at putting on makeup, so I didn’t wear it too much. Mom was pretty critical, wanting me to both be more feminine and yet fit into our conservative town. No youtube tutorials back then either!

But I still remember the smashbox eyeshadow duo I had for 10 years in burgundy and shimmery pink. A green from bath and body works. My first dark lipstick in deep purple from The Body Shop. There was a dark green lipstick gotten at halloween that matched a vest and pair of pants and I wore them together and thought I was very neat. A silvery green avon lipstick gotten at a state fair booth that made me look dead. A shimmery dead-white face powder that caused a huge fight in my house, mom worried that people would think badly of my dad if I looked like a whore.

Different stages of my life marked out by by what I wore. Never on trend, I was too distracted, so I went with what I liked. Michelle Phan taught me how to do rainbow eye shadows, and I wore them in neons to art classes in college. Learning about korean skincare way before it ever became a thing in america from a girl talking about teaching english in korea. I made my own versions with little pressed sheet masks in pellets gotten from a shady chinese website.

Imagine my surprise when I came up from nursing school to find it was an actual thing I could buy without a 8 week wait.

I have loose eyeshadows from Aromaleigh based on the Hannibal TV show, not yet used, but precious to me even 4 years on. I don’t need to buy stuff from a big company if I don’t want to, I can go find small creators not carried by any store.

Urban decay was a holy grail product to teenage me, completely unavailable to southern ohio. Now I can drive an hour and find what I want, I can buy what I want. The best liquid eyeshadow I ever had was a discontinued Urban Decay one and I used every bit of it up because I could never get it again. I remember being so proud of myself getting so much good stuff from them on their website for cheap. I can’t remember my first kiss, but I remember that eyeshadow.

My favorite lipstick is an opaque, matte lavender. It probably makes me look like I am half-dead, but I love it. I love the feel of the studded tube, the way it feels on my lips. The odd color. I love this screaming bright red I bought with a friend in a vegas sephora. I love this 5 dollar mascara I found online and then went to buy myself at Ulta, and finding it was worth the effort. They are as precious to me as art supplies, even if I’m rather lazy at using it, nor still that good at putting it on.

No one, outside of my mother, has ever given me shit for what I wore. I don’t think anyone would dare to. Even now, she’s just happy I wear it, seeing it as me feeling mentally better when I do.

There was one day when I worked at a library that I decided to “whore it up” and wear lots of makeup. Everyone, including my ancient boss, told me how nice I looked and I carry that with me. Or last halloween when I put on a ton of black eyeliner, and mom told me how good it looked, encouraging me to put it even more. I wear a shitload of highlighter because it makes me feel bright and shiny, even when I’m so tired and stressed. Mom found a burgundy mascara and she excitedly showed it to me as soon as she got home, so proud she found something new.

Or when I first saw the Too-faced peach palette and we searched forever for it, and she was so proud to finally find us one, giving it to me with much pomp because she couldn’t wait till christmas. Or searching several cities for the Swamp-Queen palette, despite our differences in taste, she understood what it meant to get it.

I’m crazy for korean skincare and makeup right now, I couldn’t tell you why. I have a pile of sheet masks and I still think the korean ones are the best of them. I scoured two CVS stores yesterday and a walgreens in a different city to see if there was anything new I hadn’t seen before. While I didn’t find anything, I still consider it an afternoon well spent.

This is me, a huge dork, with pokemon figures scattered among lipsticks on my desk. My eyeliner will be lopsided and smeared, my concealer turning yellow on me.

Strawberries and Eggs

The origin story of Dan and Phil could have been fabricated from a writer's mind, crafted to be a love story for the big screen. When Dan started to watch Phil's videos he knew that he had found the perfect channel, relating to and enjoying the creative goof's content, Dan was hooked.

After watching several videos, he worked up the courage to create a Twitter account in May of 2009 and Tweeted at Phil. In June Phil had tweeted him back and later in the month became is Facebook "friend," shortly after Dan had turned 18. This was around the same time Dan had started to assert himself as an adult, so to celebrate Dailybooth milestones, he started to take risqué pictures, now coining them as "Nakedbooth." Honestly, Dan loved the attention, but he was pretty much only valuing the attention of one specific person.

In later October, they were already spending hours talking and Dan's sexual ambiguity came into question a lot; especially after hinting at intimacy between him and Phil. With comments such as, "can you be pillow?" Or Phil asking, "can I be player 2," (in response to a naked Dan with a controller over his crotch,) the internet wildly speculated on the nature of their relationship. Both of them flirted openly at this time but made no real effort to address or define their relationship. They flirted without acknowledging they were doing so, at least not to the outside world.

Phil had convinced Dan to upload a video, so "Hello, Internet," was unleashed on the world. It was well-received and shortly after, "Butterfingers" was also uploaded. Phil was right, they were good videos and people liked Dan's content as well. That week was wonderfully stressful because on the 19th Dan and Phil met in person. Dan stayed with Phil for a few days, they recorded the first PINOF and got to know each other better. After that, they made frequent trips to see each other and to go to events together. Dan went to Uni in Manchester and Phil had a flat there as well; they were uncertain of the future, but they knew they wanted to be together. This proved to be very useful when Dan had to be admitted to the hospital in Manchester, when he needed to do laundry and when he needed Phil's support when he decided to ultimately withdraw from University. They were spending all of their time together anyway, so in the late summer of 2011, they moved into a flat together.

They had been here a few months now; they were getting to know each other's day to day habits. Messaging over the internet, taking trips together and visiting each other's homes was one thing, living together was entirely different. It was great and it was also trying. Phil left every drawer and cupboard door open, Dan sang loudly in the shower, but for the most part, it was great. They were able to do more things living together thus "The Super Amazing Project" was born. They were having the time of their lives, and the followers were increasing and coming along with them.

"Phil, why are your socks on the coffee table?"

"I may want them again later."

"But why do they need to be on the coffee table?"

"So I can find them again later,"

"You're so annoying,"

"Your mum's annoying,"

"Shut up," Phil smiled, his tongue poking out the side of his mouth.

In December they filmed "How to make Christmas cookies," editing out the sticky kisses and excited chatter about their upcoming Christmas special on BBC Radio 1. Everything was going great and they both were in awe thinking about this new opportunity. They had never dreamed that being Youtubers could transition into mainstream media, but it had.

They decided to film a "Day in the Life" video, showing off Manchester. They filmed themselves getting groceries delivered, watching shows, reading emails and even the prison they lived near. Once in town, they filmed themselves going to various places and just having fun. It seemed like whatever they did together, their followers loved it. Dan and Phil were allowed to be spontaneous, silly and creative and everyone loved it.

They went to Playlist live together, meeting some of their audience and getting to know other Youtubers. Soon after Phil decided to do a live show on a site called "Younow," this was yet another way to connect with their followers who were paying their bills. As questions flew by, he saw one about the infamous breakfast bar, "Dan climbs on it more than anything,"

In the background, Dan yelled, "It's fun, you should try it!!"

"It is meant to eat at, Dan, not climb on."

Dan wanted to go to Las Vegas for his 21st birthday, so that's what they did. Dan had every intention of uploading footage from the festivities, but as the adage went, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Maybe he would upload something at some point, but he didn't make an asserted effort to do so. There would be a lot that would have to be edited out anyway. If he were honest, he doubted he would ever post any footage from that trip.

After Vidcon, they decided to look for flats in London, Dan announced this on his first live show in a hotel room with terrible acoustics. They needed more space and wanted to be in London for more career opportunities.

When they got back, Dan knew how he wanted to say goodbye to the Manchester flat. When Phil had left to get more boxes to pack the Kitchen, Dan set his plan into motion, making sure everything was in place.

Phil rode the lift back up to their apartment with an armload of boxes, he struggled to open the door, but when he did, he was greeted with Dan, laid on top of the breakfast bar. His nipples covered with whipped cream and bright reddish-pink panties covered his crotch. The room smelled of Strawberries.

"Ah, Dan?"

"Hey, Phil. So, you know how you said the Breakfast bar was for eating at, not climbing on? Well, tonight we are doing both, I am the meal. Eat me,"

Phil smirked dropping the boxes and shedding his coat. "You do smell very tasty," Phil swiped the whipped cream off one of Dan's nipples with his thumb and made a show of sucking it off. “When did you get these, I wonder,” His finger then trailed down Dan's belly, stopping right before the panties, bending down and licking the parts covering Dan's hardening cock. "Mmm, I love strawberries," Phil sucked at the panties, small parts started to break away. "You're so delicious," Dan moaned.

"See, it's good to climb on and eat at," Dan choked out.

Phil sucked at the head of Dan's strawberry covered cock, “Yeah, I think you’re right,” breaking the gummy covering, Phil now was just sucking on skin.

"Yes," Dan hissed.

Phil dug his tongue into the hole he had created, taking more of the panties into his mouth and exposing more of Dan’s skin.

“Please, more,” Dan moaned.

Phil used his hands to free Dan the rest of the way from the panties, he didn't think he could eat any more of them. He maneuvered his red-stained tongue up to Dan's stomach, circling his belly button, traveled up his treasure trail onto one nipple, then the next, licking them clean. “Mm, tasty boy.”

"God, that feels good," Dan moaned, "Phil, I want you to fuck me on this breakfast bar. I've always wanted to do that. I don't want to move out until we have, please,”

Phil laughed, "I'm not opposed to this idea, especially since you've laid out a feast for me, we're gonna have to improvise, "

"Okay?" Dan watched Phil walk to the other side of the kitchen, he started to rifle through the cupboards, pulling out various items and leaving them on the counter. His face lit up as if he had an idea, and went to the fridge. He pulled out the carton of eggs, cracking the last two and pouring the egg whites into a bowl.

"Get on your hands and knees,"

Dan complied, "Are we using egg whites as lube, Phil?"

"I saw it online once, that they work," Phil started to trace Dan's entrance,

"Holy shit, that's cold!" Dan shrieked, recoiling.

"Sorry, all of the lube is packed," applying some to himself he gasped at the temperature change. As he entered Dan, the coldness quickly faded. "Not so cold anymore.” He gasped,

“No, it’s not, fuck me, Phil,

“I'm so glad we did this,"

"Me too, even if we are all sticky." Phil sped up his pace, thrusting into Dan, kissing the back of his neck. “Close,”

“Me too, harder, please,”

After they had finished, they cleaned up the breakfast bar and showered, then they continued to pack the kitchen.

“I’m going to miss this breakfast bar,” Dan said,

“You are so sentimental, Dan,” Phil smiled.

“Shut up, I just showed you how amazing it could be, didn’t I?”

“Yes, you did. I will miss this apartment too, we have so many "firsts" here,”

“Yes, we do." Dan shook his head, this was bittersweet. "We’re never going to miss it if we don’t move out, we need to keep packing,”

“Right you are,”

Dan opened one of the cupboards, “Phil!" Look! We had olive oil! Why the fuck did we have to use the freezing cold egg whites?"

Phil shrugged, "eggs needed to be used anyway,”

Dan threw the empty carton at his head, “You idiot,”

“But you love me,”

“Yeah, I do.”

Phan Cam: Music of Water

>In a concert hall in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, a KUROFUNE concert was beginning.

It seems like a lot of you are really hyped tonight. Am I right?

>The crowd begins cheering loudly.

MC: Excellent! Just hope KUROFUNE’s music will be this lively.

>In the stands.

Lively might be an understatement.

I know Ryuji’s been in the idol scene for three months now, but this is really a lot of excitement.

Now Ann chan, I’m sure Ryu kun is just as nervous about this as you are.

Yeah, just look at the crowd. Almost everyone showed up. Even some members of Kanamin Kitchen are here.

Wow! Ms. Ochimizu, there sure are a lot of people here. Could KUROFUNE really have gotten this popular just because they got a third member?

That remains to be seen. It’s not like the whole world is here.

You know they might just be live streaming this.

Ms. Ochimizu: You didn’t have to mention that.

>Back with us.

????: Hey, we’re here to, y’know!

Oh no, we didn’t forget about you, Rise san.

(mood changed) Glad to hear it.

Either way, I’m so glad we could all be here tonight to watch your friend perform with all his heart. I’m just sad Sensei, Yosuke, and the others couldn’t make it. It’s just us three.

I’m sure if they had time on their hands, they would come.

I can’t wait to see the look on Ryuji’s face when he sees I’ve come in human form... Though, I was a little upset they told me I needed a ticket to get in. It’s not like the time when I was a cat, I could get in free.

Teddie: Trust me, it’s worth it. You get to meet all kinds of people and pretty girls that you couldn’t as an animal.

Morgana: That’s something I guess.

Which reminds me, have you thought of a new name for your human form? Seeing you in a man’s body, I don’t think being called Morgana would be such a wise move.

Morgana: Well, until ATLUS says otherwise, I’ll be going by Diego Vega.

You mean like Don Diego de la Vega?

I’m not familiar with that name.

Makoto: It was Zorro’s real name. And since Zorro is his Persona, I guess it would be the obvious choice.

Rise: If you want tips on that role, you should totally ask Senpai. I got him to play that role for a show once.

I don’t know. Removing “Don” and “de la” sounds a little overdone. I think the name should be a little more creative than that.

Diego: Fine. But I’m keeping the Diego part.

Yusuke: Ren, have you any idea what “Diego’s” last name should be?

Diego: Mercury? You mean like Mercurius?

Naoto: That would sound right. The planet Mercury was named for Mercurius. Since Mercurius is Diego’s Ultimate Persona...

Naoto: I’m glad you agree with that.

Akechi: Thank you.

Diego: Then it’s decided. My human form’s name will be Diego Mercury. But only until ATLUS says otherwise.

Mrs. Sakamoto: I’m not sure what you’re all talking about. But if that’s this young man’s name, very well. It’s nice to meet you, Diego kun.

Diego: The pleasure is all mine.

>He takes Mrs. Sakamoto’s hand and kisses it.

>Meanwhile, backstage, Ryuji saw what just happened.

Damn it, Mona! Did you really have to go there?

>Meanwhile, back with us.

Ann: Hey look, there’s a new card here.

Mrs. Sakamoto: It does look like it would suit him well. I think I’ll choose it.

>We all agree to do so as well.

???: It’s all going according to plan.

>I turned to the person who spoke.

>The young man quickly leaves... What was that about?

Diego: Ren, it’s starting.

>I turn to the stage.

MC: And here they are, the ones you’ve been waiting for! KUROFUNE!

>The crowd cheered as KUROFUNE comes on stage.

Yuto: We sail now into a new land. A land of light and love!

Keigo: The people there need that light and love to live their lives!

Ryuji: But a great darkness now blossoms in that land. But we’ll use our music to give you hope.

KUROFUNE: Cheer for us as we tackle the... Blooming Villain!

Futaba: Whoa! Ryuji, Diego, control yourselves. I know it’s been awhile since we had sushi, but still where are your manners?

(laughing) Must be because of his costume tonight. Orlando will have that effect on people.

Ann: No kidding.

Makoto: Either way, I’m glad Ryuji’s idol career is really taking off.

Rise: Don’t worry, I’ve been there before. But I’ve always had my friends to help and some good tutors.

Teddie: I don’t think you need to worry, Mako chan.

>Suddenly, Mrs. Sakamoto’s phone rings. She answers it.

Mrs. Sakamoto: Moshi Moshi? Yes? I see. Alright, I’ll be there.

>She hangs up.

Mrs. Sakamoto: Sorry, Ryu kun, but something’s come up at work and I need to work the night shift.

Ryuji: I know. You have yer responsibilities. I’m already used to being alone in the apartment.

Mrs. Sakamoto: I know. But what with your father still in town.

Akechi: Actually, Mrs. Sakamoto, we wouldn’t mind letting Ryuji stay with one of us though.

Mrs. Sakamoto: You would? Thank you. Ryu kun?

Ryuji: I guess it’s cool. It’s just for one night.

Mrs. Sakamoto: That’s my boy. I’ll see you tomorrow.

>With a hug to her son, Mrs. Sakamoto leaves for work.

Ren: I suppose I could set up the couch for you. Hope you don’t mind, but Yusuke’s moving some of his stuff in for the Summer.

Diego: Where will I sleep? My cat house is nice and I know I can’t sleep on the bed with you and Yusuke and the cat house is nice, but I really like the company... (gasp) Does this mean I can sleep over a Lady Ann’s place?

Hell no! Besides, my parents are home and I have no idea how to explain to them why a cat or a boy are staying over.

Diego: (looking down) It was worth a try.

Makoto: He can’t stay with me or Haru either. We have to study for our mock exam.

Mishima: And I still remember from what happened that last time Sakamoto kun stay over at my place.

Futaba: Mine would be the same with Ann.

Ryuji: Yuto? Keigo?

Yuto: Sorry, Ryuji san, but my apartment is too small. I don’t think I can even set up a futon.

Keigo: And I have a lot of relatives staying over at my place. My grandmother’s birthday is coming up.

Ren: You’re the only one left, Akechi.

Akechi: I guess I don’t mind. So, what do you say, Ryuji?

Ryuji: Thanks, Akechi. Besides, we still haven’t seen your new apartment yet...

Well, she’s still new to the group. So I guess she’s a little shy with us right now.

Yusuke: How about the movies? I hear Hikari Gazo just finished her latest film.

Futaba: I guess that would be good.

>Suddenly, my phone rings.

Morgana: Who could that be at this hour?

Ren, there’s something I have to tell you.

This is where you live!? I always thought this place was abandoned and maybe even... Haunted.

Well, it definitely has some spirited tenants.

Ryuji: How spirited are they?

>With that they head inside.

??????: Welcome home, Akechi kun.

Akechi: Good evening, Hanako san.

Ryuji: Hanako san? Wait, who said that?

Ryuji: (worried) Wait. When you said the residence here are spirited, do you mean this place really is...

>Suddenly, the sound of something shuffling was heard. Ryuji saw that a door was open. Although it was dark in there, he could definitely make out some large people in there smoking and playing mahjong. In fact, they were so large, they almost look like... Oni.

???????: Hello.

Well, I guess it’s because this is your first visit here.

Akechi: Isshiki kun, Akine chan, this is Ryuji Sakamoto. Ryuji, this is Reimei Isshiki and Kuga Akine. They live here, too.

Akine: It’s nice to meet you.

Isshiki: We’ve heard so much about you from Akechi kun. How’s idol life treating you?

Ryuji: Pretty good, actually. It’s what I love to do and I’m really helpin’ my mom out.

Akechi: I take it you two are off to the baths downstairs.

Isshiki: That’s right. Do you care to join us?

Akechi: Not tonight, it’s been a long day. We’re just going to go right to bed.

Ryuji: Same here, I’m really tired. (yawn) I know performing takes a lot of energy, but I’m really drained tonight.

Akine: Alright. But the baths are always open in case you change your mind. Goodnight.

>With that, Akechi and Ryuji go upstairs... Suddenly...

Akine: !?

Isshiki: What’s wrong, Akine chan?

Akine: I thought I sensed... Never mind. It’s probably just some wondering spirit passing by.

Isshiki: Maybe Ryu came back.

Akine: If he did come back... We would know... Although, he did say he would be back soon.

Isshiki: Yeah... Usually he takes longer.

>Outside...

Jin: That girl almost sensed us. No matter. Nothing can stop what is to happen next now.

Dude, are you sure you really want to do this?

He’s right. We know we’re not that smart, but don’t you think this plan of yours is a little... Crazy?

Jin: (making an intimidating stare) Care to run that by me again?

>The Deucey Twins just back away.

Jin: I figured.

>Jin returns his gaze to the apartment building. Jared and Jesse took this as an opportunity to slip away a bit to talk amongst themselves.

Jesse: This is getting outta hand even for us.

Jared: Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to start ditching school for this stuff. How did we even ended up here?

Jesse: I’d like to know that myself. And all because-

Jin: Quiet, both of you! ... They getting ready for sleep.

>Jin was looking at the window of Akechi’s room through a pair of binoculars.

Jin: No amount of magic in there will save him now. Because this kind of magic... Has science, too.

>Inside Akechi’s room, Akechi noticed that Ryuji’s been scratching his chest a lot.

Is something wrong, Ryuji? You’ve been scratching your the whole time.

It’s... It’s nothing. Just an itch. Guess I’ve worked so much of a sweat tonight. And I think I’m a little thirsty. Got anythin’ fizzy?

Akechi: No. But I do have some water.

Ryuji: Fine. I guess it’ll do.

>Akechi gives Ryuji a bottle of water and drinks up the whole thing.

Wow! If that’s a little thirsty, I’d hate to see what real thirsty looks like.

Ryuji: Sorry. I just don’t know what’s goin' on.

Akechi: Well, just in case, I think we should see Takemi sensei in the morning.

Ryuji: Yeah, I guess.

>They both then got into their futons.

Ryuji: This place really is nice once you get to know it.

Akechi: I know. I can’t wait to invite everyone else as well.

Ryuji: Me, too... I wonder if they would come, too.

Akechi: You mean Peter and Harry? I guess they can come, too. I might even invite Miles and the others.

Ryuji: Yeah. By the way, did you hear? Harry’s finally decided that he’s ready.

Akechi: Yeah, Peter told me. Starting this September, Harry will be accepting the role of CEO of Oscorp. He said he’ll finally be raising from his father’s shadow and lead the company his own way.

Ryuji: But for now, they want to enjoy their comin' Summer Vacation. They even emailed me what they’re gonna do in case we decide to join them.

Akechi: Me, as well. First, they’re going to hit Coney Island Beach with Miles, Flash, Randy, and Aleksei. Harry also invited John and Ollie to come as well and Peter invited a new friend, Grady Scraps, I think. Next, they’ll go to a baseball game with Aunt May to celebrate her reopening F.E.A.S.T.

Ryuji: Attend a Ross Cailban concert with Gwen, Anya, Liz, and Mary Jane. And to top it all off, a camping trip upstate with Miles, Gwen and Anya.

Akechi: And that’s just for July and August. They’re still trying to decide what to do for June.

Ryuji: If anythin’ they could always try comin’ here.

Akechi: I guess that would work. I’ll let them know in the morning... Which is evening for them. And I should also ask them about...

>Akechi seems a bit hesitant.

Ryuji: I’m sure things with Otto Octavius are still fine. If anything happens, Harry and Pete would let us know.

>Ryuji lets out a big yawn.

Ryuji: Well, g’night.

Akechi: Goodnight.

>With that, Akechi turns out the light and the two young men quickly fall asleep... Not knowing the fate that now approaches... Ryuji.

>Ryuji was sound asleep when he suddenly heard something. Like the sound of wind howling and water roaring. Ryuji opened his eyes...

Wh- Where...

>Ryuji was standing over the ocean on a sotrmy night. He saw ahead of him was an island.

>He looked back to see Tokyo. What was going on? He turned to see the island again. For some reason, he felt drawn to it. He found himself leaning closer and closer. And then... He fell into the water. Ryuji tried swimming back to the city, but the wave were kept on pushing him towards the small island... No. It was pulling him towards the island. The water was somehow holding him until it started to drag him down Ryuji was scared. Was he going to drown? Then, his chest started aching with pain. He looked down to see he was now nude and something was on his chest.

>Ryuji tries to break free of the water’s grasp, but it was no use. It was starting to cover his body like a snake. Then, it started forming around him like a suit. Ryuji couldn’t take it anymore. He screamed... As his eyes turn green.
