Spot the fruits not me! I thought it was a plum, it's not. It is called #mahkotadewa , a indigenous plant to Malaysia and Indonesia. It is not eaten as a fruit nor it's advisable to eat fresh, because it will cause your mouth to swollen and the seed is poisonous. The flesh is usually thinly sliced and dried to make drinks, medicine etc. Traditionally people believe it is good for people who has diabetes and high BP. Modernly people believe it could use to cure cancer??? Anyway if you happen to take this in drug form, it is still not advisable to overdose for a long periods cz can cause some side effects and also of the possible toxicity. I am interested to try it in the liquid form if I visit to Indonesia. They sell it in tea packet and also coffee. Just curious, Anyone try it before? #godcrown #phaleriamacrocarpa
