INVITED // Hot weather is here to stay with 35 degrees forecasted today and this week. What better way to cool down than with an ice cream? Kuld Creamery @kuld_creamery has a new store on William Street in Northbridge. Pictured here is the Ice cream sandwich: coconut lemon myrtle and lemon butter flavours with raspberry & white choc cookie. One of my fav ice cream places in Perth that started on a laneway in Highgate. I remember visiting even on rainy days for a scoop of their “London Fog” (Earl Grey) flavour. Loving how far they’ve come - having shops in Freo and Rottnest Island. Love the refreshing coconut lemon myrtle flavour! Didn’t get it here but you must try their house-made waffle cone that’s so fragrant. New patisserie Sha Patisserie @shapatisserie.au that just opened at Brookfield Place @bfplperth last month on 20th of September - lots of beautiful cakes! There are croissants too if you get there early enough. Whole cake orders are now available on their website. Bought the following: - Basque cheesecake $7 - Yuzu meringue tart $7 - Chocolate croissant $7 - Strawberry Lychee $9.50 - Matcha Vanilla $9 Fav was the Yuzu Meringue Tart. Basque cheesecake was smooth and a bit on the sweeter side. Matcha vanilla had a white chocolate casing with apricot gel. The “moonlight birthday” pancake has interesting flavour combinations - the slightly sour balsamic glaze might be appetising and balance out a heavy dinner prior to desserts. Black sesame lovers would love the iced black sesame latte with boba and cream foam - perfect balance of sweetness too.
