Hey does anyone have experience getting an ESA approved for an apartment through the site PetScreening.com? I've been struggling to get approval for months, with multiple letters from my doctor, and today I checked out their Better Business Bureau page and they're apparently in the habit of violating HIPAA by asking for info that doctors shouldn't have to provide before they approve ESAs, while also sending private user info to marketing companies.

Anyone else going through this? It seemed especially rough for people like me dealing with mental symptoms of their disabilities

This asshole company tried to respond to my Better Business Buereau complaint with the claim that they had given me feedback from an attorney, and this was a legal issue that I shouldn't put in public. I haven't talked to any attorney, and if they're gonna lie their asses off to try and get my ESA rejected from my apartment while acting like I'm faking my disability, damn right I'm gonna make it public

So yeah anyways PetScreening is a scam and if a landlord says you have to register through it show them the massive amount of complaints on their (non-accredited!) Better Business Bureau page.
