Just registered we went through my entire character arc.
Simon found the crown, and slowly started to go insane. He met a little girl, though they parted after time. He was losing his mind, though the whole time trying to keep Betty in his mind with other princesses, trying to keep his precious Betty by his side. He went through absolute hell and back trying to find his princess, desperately grabbing onto anything he could to keep his darling by his side, like he needed her to survive.
Yet, when she finally leaves him, permanently, he understands it was fate... And he has his little girl back, too.
