I'm back in the Netherlands, I'm happy to be home again. During my stay at the hospital in Barcelona I lost 5 kg.

My last day in Barcelona, tomorrow morning I will fly back to the Netherlands. Today no nice weather, cloudy and cold.

Today no sun, very cold and lots of wind on the beach of Barcelona.

No sun today, very cold. On Thursday morning I finally fly back to the Netherlands, I am happy that I can leave here. It was a terrible experience to stay at the Hospital Del Mar.

Beach life

Walked a lot today, nice weather on the beach of Barcelona in the afternoon. For now I am not allowed to fly back to the Netherlands.

No sun on Barcelona beach today, maybe I can fly back to the Netherlands on Sunday.

Fleeing the hospital and relaxing on the beach in Barcelona, maybe going home Saturday or Sunday.

The Hospital Del Mar is a bad hospital, but it does have a beautiful beach on the doorstep.

Shit happens, my vacation with friends ends at the hospital in Barcelona. I have to stay here for now.

#throwback 12 dec 2018:

Today 1 year ago, urgently admitted to Bangkok Hospital Pattaya with high fever and respiratory problems. I had septic shock, pneumonia and heart rhythm disorders. After 1 week also a pulmonary embolism. I was in the hospital for 12 days, 7 days on the emergency and 5 days in a private room to recover. Thanks to the good care and expertise of the doctors and nurses, I have recovered well.
