3-4 who are they?
Yes, I am working on being more thankful, more encouraging and more forward thinking as always.
There are highlights from a conversation I had with a mentor recently:
I am learning to ask businesses about the 3-4 people that best tell their story that are not the CEO or the Owner.
Who are the 3-4 people that best tell your story today?
Yes, I am working on bringing tech talent and potential board members into a ALT5 SIGMA CORPORATION symbol ALTS. I believe that tech talented friends that I have a board member level friends that I have could really do great things within the company:
On a different note: This has been great reading.

I am continuing to learn from Craig Newmark on X and from Garry Tan on X and as always Ray Dalio.

Solo: A Star Wars Story premiered on May 25th, 2018. The screenplay was by Jonathon and Lawrence Kasdan. Lawrence Kasden had previously scripted the Star Wars films Episode V: The Empire Strikes back, Episode VI The Return of the Jedi, and Episode VII The Force Awakens. There was some debate over who was going to be listed officially as director. Ultimately, Ron Howard, who reshot 80% of the original footage, was given credit and the original directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were given executive producer credits. The movie took place between Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story/Episode IV: A New Hope. The movie told how Han Solo (originally played by Harrison Ford, but in this version played by Alden Ehrenreich) left Corellia, joined the Emperial Infantry, met Chewbacca (originally played by Peter Mayhew, but in this version by Joonas Suotamo), became a smuggler, met Lando Calrissian (originally played by Billy Dee Williams, but in this version by Donald Glover), made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, got his hand blaster, got the disguise that Lando would use in Jobba's palace, got the Millinium Falcon, and why the Millinium Falcon had a unique dialogue pattern. The film kept it as a surprise that it also had the first cinematic appearance of Darth Maul (still protrayed by Ray Park and voiced by Sam Witwer) since his supposed death in Episode I: A Phantom Menace. The movie also introduced new characters to the Star Wars cinematic universe such as Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson), Qi'ra (Emilia Clarke), Val (Thandiwe Newton), L3-37 (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), Dryden Vos (Paul Bettany), Rio Durant (Jon Favreau), Enfys Nest (Erin Kellyman), Lady Proxima (Linda Hunt), Rebolt (Ian Kenny), Korso (John Tui), Weazel (Warwick Davis), Margo (Charlotte Louise), Chanteuse (Sema-Tawi Smart), Ralakili (Clint Howard), Quay Tolsite (Dee Tails), Sagwa (Attila Vajda), Tak (Anthony Daniels), Karjj (Kiran Shah), Eager Scrumrat (Fraser Kelly), Lexi (Lily Newmark), Ottilie (Samantha Colley), and Argus Panox (Derek Arnold). The reaction to the film did not meet expectations and delayed and changed the plans for further theatrical Star Wars Story films. ("Solo: A Star Wars Story", flm, event)

Burton-Katzman inks $240 million recapitalization deal with New York firm
Tumblr media
By Kirk Pinho  I April 11, 2023  I  Crain’s Detroit
A new joint venture with local ties is recapitalizing more than 2.2 million square feet of light industrial real estate in Michigan with $240 million in new funding.
The JV between Bingham Farms-based Burton-Katzman LLC and New York City-based DRA Advisors LLC said it is recapitalizing 24 properties, which are 99 percent leased to more than 40 tenants. None of the tenants takes up more than 15 percent of the portfolio square footage, according to the JV.
Andy Boyce, who is partner, COO and CFO of Burton-Katzman, said Burton-Katzman bought out some of its equity partners from its portfolio and brought in DRA, which was looking for a local partner in the region.
"We got strong returns. A lot of these are our B, B-minus properties, not the A-plus pretty ones," Boyce said. "But when you package them all together, you get a little more efficiency and better returns for our overall investors, including ourselves."
DRA, whose website said it has about 30 industrial properties in the state, expands its light industrial presence at a time when the market for industrial and warehouse properties has been pumping out spec buildings at a regular clip for years.
A fourth-quarter report from the local office of New York City-based brokerage Newmark says that in the last decade, nearly two dozen spec warehouse buildings have come to the market totaling some 10.2 million square feet, and an additional 16 totaling a little over 5 million square feet are set to be completed in 2023.
Boyce said most of the 24 properties are in Southeast Michigan, although some are in Grand Rapids. Within the two dozen properties, there are close to 40 buildings in all as part of the deal.
It closed in a couple phases, wrapping up in March, Boyce said.
"Building on our over 100 years of industry experience, we're looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with DRA Advisors, one of the most dynamic and intelligent teams in our industry," Peter Burton, one of the heads of Burton-Katzman, said in a release.
Burton-Katzman has Michigan properties in Taylor, Auburn Hills, Grand Blanc, Sterling Heights, New Baltimore, Lake Orion, Rochester Hills, Howell, Lincoln Park, Canton Township and elsewhere around the state, according to the company's website.

Quote
The result has been what the late German billionaire shipping magnate and philanthropist Peter Kramer called “a bad transfer of power”, from democratically elected politicians to billionaires, so that it is no longer “the state that determines what is good for the people, but rather the rich who decide”. The UN general assembly has warned governments and international organisations that, before taking money from rich donors, they should “assess the growing influence of major philanthropic foundations, and especially the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation … and analyse the intended and unintended risks and side-effects of their activities”. Elected politicians, the UN warned in 2015, should be particularly concerned about “the unpredictable and insufficient financing of public goods, the lack of monitoring and accountability mechanisms, and the prevailing practice of applying business logic to the provision of public goods”. Some kinds of philanthropy may have become not just non-democratic, but anti-democratic. Charles Koch and his late brother, David, are undoubtedly the most prominent example of rightwing philanthropy at work. But there are scores of others, most particularly in the US, who embrace causes which many find controversial and even distasteful. Art Pope has used the fortune he has amassed from his discount-store chain to push for a tightening of the law to prevent fraud in elections, even though such fraud is negligible in the US. Pope’s move, which would require voters to show ID at the polls, effectively disenfranchises the 10% of the electorate who lack photo ID because they are too poor to own a car and are unlikely to go to the expense of getting a driving licence simply to vote. Such voters – many of them black – are statistically unlikely to vote for the arch-conservatives that Art Pope smiles upon. But do such philanthropic activities manipulate the democratic process any more than do the campaigns of the billionaire financier George Soros to promote accountable government and social reform around the world? Or hedge-fund billionaire Tom Steyer’s funding of a movement to encourage more young people to vote on climate change? Or the attacks by the internet billionaire Craig Newmark on fake news? In each case these rich individuals are motivated to intervene by something arising from their own lived experience. By what yardstick can we suggest that some are more legitimate than others?

Cursed is described as "a re-imagining of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of Nimue, a teenage heroine with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake. After her mother’s death, she finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a young mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword. Over the course of her journey, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther."Netflix has described the series as a "coming-of-age story whose themes are familiar to our own time: the obliteration of the natural world, religious terror, senseless war, and finding the courage to lead in the face of the impossible"
On September 12, 2018, it was announced that Zetna Fuentes is set to direct and serve as an executive producer for the first two episodes of the series and that Katherine Langford had been cast in the series' lead role. In March 2019, it was announced Devon Terrell, Gustaf Skarsgard, Peter Mullan, Lily Newmark, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Daniel Sharman, Sebastian Armesto, Emily Coates and Billy Jenkins had joined the cast.Filming has also been reported at Frensham Little Pond in Frensham, in Bradford-on-Avon and at Clearwell Caves in the Forest of Dean.
