Spider moved his mask up to free his mouth and then vomited on the ground. He had just before him Norman flirting with Aunt May. Norman wasn't sure if he should be insulted or not.

category 6 Hero event. afflicted with images and visions but its literally just what happens in-game but more concentrated so i cant do anything ABOUT IT...

fuck dude what do you even do!!! its rolling grass and warm breezes and a hand grasping onto the sleeve of someone you love. that kind of comfort you can only get as a kid tucked into bed; lights on in another room; familiar voices through the cracked door. cupping fireflies in your hands; excited to run; but more excited to bring them to someone; to show them too.

and in context; in contrast; it turns into the childish plea of an 'i wish;' 'i remember;' 'i wish.' this too; starting with the warm reminiscience of their days of running. you dont have to look. we know. we dont have to look yet. such a simple melody; a stumbling little dance on stage; a child's recital.

and through its outro; finally meeting each other in the eyes.. the slow, staggered cobbling of the vocals, the percussion, as if to painstakingly stand upright once more; pushed on and on with more certainty; more momentum; the force of a wheel that cannot stop. as more and more voices raise, a supporting choir, pushing it forward-- until all that remains is the simple reality of it. one simple voice, the petering out of the instrumental into quiet, a single dragged out note; an ember rising and burning out.

the entire thing still holding itself to the same structure a play would; containing itself in the image of the stories they so loved. much the same, ending their conflict through the same means.

Disney 100 ✨🏰🤍

Wishing you all a happy new year and to Disney, a belated 100th anniversary! 🎉

To celebrate Disney’s century milestone, I created an illustration based on 100 of Disney’s most known and loved characters from their respective movies/ series. I’ve included all the ones I’ve known and feel are generally popular but I’m sorry if your personal favourites aren’t here.

This has been in the works for almost four months now but due to many delays I couldn’t finish it on time. So here it finally is!

Out of all these range characters, the hardest to draw was the Cars. I’m not used to drawing cars so I’m not generally good at them (yet). Some of these may look simple and easy to draw but trust me, they’re not 😂.

With drawing the characters and the background, I like to be accurate with the respective style it’s drawn/ animated in and the colours too. But also I wanted to also simplify the 3D ones and add a little depth using shadow to the 2D ones. For example some of these films would have a desaturated grainy effect to it and I wanted to keep that. But finally after months of working on it, it’s completed and I’m happy with it! ✨.

The Gryffindor common room reeked of hormones, alcohol and illicit substances. The loud music seemed to shake the paintings whose inhabitants had all left the frames on the red walls of the brave ones of Hogwarts. Nothing more than just the music could be heard, even the words and laughter seemed to have faded away to simply give way to the fullness.

Then the loud sound did seem to fade

Came back like a slow voice on a wave of phase

That weren't no DJ

That was hazy cosmic trace

In the ears of y/n, only the words of David Bowie were heard, she did not feel her legs which however continued to make her dance and jump since several hours. Raising her uncovered arms because she had long ago abandoned her gold and red sweater somewhere in the room, she stretched her fingers towards the sky letting herself be carried by the music on Marlene's arm. She was happy at that moment. It was as if time had stopped for one evening. War, fear, sadness. No, just the music and the feeling of euphoria that ran through her heart like a drug and filled her with energy.

Sirius watched from the couch in front of the fireplace, Remus at his side, downing a beer as if it was a simple glass of water, Peter seemed to have fallen asleep in front of the cold embers and James had disappeared with, at his arm, Lily an hour ago or so. Sirius knew that some of the girls were trying to get his attention but he seemed to be somewhere else, hypnotized by the young woman dancing in the center of the room surrounded by other young witches and wizards. She was beautiful. But more than that, it was her soul that Sirius had fallen in love with.

I had to phone someone, so I picked on you

Hey, that's far out, so you heard him too!

Switch on the TV, we may pick him up on channel two

Look out your window, I can see his light

If we can sparkle, he may land tonight

Don't tell your poppa or he'll get us locked up in fright

This complicated yet beautiful soul, so concerned about the happiness and well-being of others. y/n had listened to him railing against his family and the injustice of war for hours without ever complaining and without hesitating to contradict him when she felt his judgment was biased. y/n guided him through his dark moments of doubt and sorrow, like a lighthouse in the middle of the ocean, y/n guided him to the right path.

"Staring is rude." Remus was amused but his slight smirk indicated his good intentions.

Sirius smiled as he kept looking calmly at the woman he loved who was now wrapping her arms around her friend Marlene.

"No, I just know how to appreciate art the right way." His smirk did not disappear, in fact, it seemed to grow.

It didn't take long for y/n to notice the insistent look of the young man, turning her eyes towards him, she smiled tenderly before closing them and going back to her own little world, where only music reigned.

Sirius, leaned on the sofa, his chin on his arms, smiling with tenderness. He kept on admiring her, bouncing his head in rythm and singing quietly to himself the end of the song that, as y/n, was the only thing he could hear now. He loved her. So much.

Best of 2023 Movies #11: Elemental

Today we have another tie for our list as we have 2 films that both came out on the same day and ended up being more in common than anyone anticipated.

It’s not the two you know are coming though they will be explored separately and together later in the month.

We begin with another Pixar gem about finding unexpected connections between opposites.

Only here it’s a city of elements and it’s literal fire, and water connecting.

Ember Lumen is the daughter of a first generation fire couple who came to the city in search of a restart.

While helping her aging dad run a shop catering to the fire residents in their neighborhood, she meets Wade Ripple a city inspector and emotionally filled puddle who begins to form a connection. If only to help her dad out at first.

Slowly Wade begins to win Ember over and the two bond all the while her insecurities about wanting to have a future beyond her family weigh on her.

Formulaic is Pixar’s mo at this point but what Peter Sohn uses from his own family history is wonderfully applied here.

Plus the colors are exquisitely beautiful.

Surprised that it took so long to find its footprint with everyone else.

Most underrated film by them by a longshot.

Hi, gang! Thanks for having me. I’m so stoked to be here :) 

Some lightning-round headcanons about my Lost Boy below 

He never leaves the (tree)house without his HAT – a particularly worn, black baseball cap. There have been a few hats through the years; he hangs onto one until it completely falls apart, then replaces it. It’s kind of his subconscious security blanket. Without it, he feels naked. Many people probably have never seen his head bare. It’s only when he’s in the safety of his designated home (previously his bedroom in The Other Place, now in the hideout with the Lost Boys). (If you DO see him without it ...  It’s essentially like when a cat trusts you and shows you their fuzzy lil belly :) )

He’s always loved FIRE, enthralled by its golden embers and burning coals. Sometimes he’d stare into the flames of a campfire and watch as they curled and licked at the air around them. He often wished he could engulf himself in it, wrap himself in its inferno and wear it like a blazing shield. Get as close as you dare, but touch him and you’ll get burned. 

Nate has a habit of SNEAKING up on people–both friend and foe alike. It’s not always intentional. He’d learned at a young age to be stealthy and light on his feet for his own safety (for Reasons that I don’t need to unpack in this tiny little welcome post), which has proven to make him a useful addition to the Lost Boys. Agile and quick, I imagine he’s Peter’s first pick for a reconnaissance mission (aka spying on the Pirates).

After years of practice, he’s gotten wicked good with crafting and wielding a bow and arrow. He started off just aiming at wild pigs and rabbits as game for supper, but once and a awhile ... a human has a target on their head and a Boy’s gotta do what a Boy’s gotta do 🤷🤷🤷 On a lighter note, I imagine Peter’s probably told him on a couple occasions to aim at apples on the Boys’ heads for his entertainment. On the other hand, sometimes there are pirates who get too close to hurting Peter and he’s aiming right for them. Which leads me to ....

And above all else: he will do absolutely anything for Peter, everyone’s favorite boy-king monarch and savior supreme--because he is so Lost in the Pan Sauce.

Pride Romance Recs

Started working on that possible series of book recs for Pride Month and it turns out that figuring out how to organize it was harder than I thought. I have favorite tropes that I tend to stick to but I also love a good series that spans multiple tropes and breaking things up by trope started to makes a little less sense. Billy first noticed something was up when Steve’s nails were shiny. Like a bird or a cat, Billy just kept catching a weird glint bouncing off of Steve’s fingernails.

It wasn’t that irregular for guys to use their mom’s cuticle oil. Especially after a bruised nail bed turned into a cracked nail and then Peter McMilson was wearing his sister’s vitamin-E polish for a month.

But then Steve was putting a condom on his fingers before fingering Billy, and the latter might’ve snapped a little. “The hell are you wasting a condom for?”

“I don’t want my polish to flake off in your ass.”

Well. There was Billy’s confirmation. Weirdly considerate but also, what the hell?

Steve could read Billy’s emotions like a book and the polish moved to his feet. Maybe it was the discrete location, or Steve’s newfound interest skyrocketing, but the polish went from clear to red.

Red with sparkles that glinted like fire embers.

Some kind of dark color that Billy couldn’t tell if it was red or brown.

Golden, summer yellow.

Dark, dusky blue shimmer that was blue on one side, and then sparked magenta in different light.

Billy never particularly noticed Steve’s feet outside of the general observation of him wearing socks or going barefoot. But now he felt ridiculous, constantly narrowing in on those spots of color. Wondering what he had on inside his shoes. Even absentmindedly grabbing his hand to look at it, and finding nothing, met Steve’s puzzle yet amused smirk.

Billy might’ve made some snide remarks at first, but...really, what’s the harm in a stupid, glorified paint? They were already fucking to the point that Billy had filled the guest bedroom’s dresser with his clothes. It’s not like a polish could make them more gay than they already were.

Yet, it felt like some sort of...vulnerable victory when Billy got to see Steve actually paint his nails for the first time. It felt like something Billy wasn’t - shouldn’t - be watching, like instead of fisting gloves and cock rings, this was the fetish material he’d been warned of by petrified Catholics.

And then Steve finished painting his fingernails, and became as uncoordinated as a cat with gloves on. He stared at Billy like a helpless owl, waving his hands to dry them faster. “Could you open my soda for me?”

Billy opened it and then gulped down half of it as payment.

Maybe it was a reward for not messing up Steve’s paint jobs as often as he could have that when, during a lazy evening spent inside, Billy let Steve take his hand. Really, he just thought Steve wanted to hold his hand. Steve was touchy, to the point that Billy had even dropped his hand on Steve’s lap just to give him something to hold on to.

But then he felt something cold on his fingertips, and realized Steve had three fingers out of five done.

“Careful,” Steve warned when Billy flexed his fingers to see what Steve had done to him...

Black. Just black.

“Huh,” he said distantly, not sure whether he disliked it or not.

His indecision allowed Steve to finish the hand. Billy didn’t give him the other hand and Steve didn’t ask for it.

The next day, he decided that he rather liked it. The black polish felt like war paint, and he listened to plenty of musicians who frequented black polish, so whatever.

Problematic situations arrived in two forms: if both Steve and Billy were wearing nail polish then they had to use condoms, and Billy wouldn’t wear polish unless Steve did his nails. Which meant Billy got bossy.

“The black under that green sparkly topper. Where is it? You don’t organize these?”

Steve gaped at him. “Who the hell are you and where is my boyfriend?”

From Pixar Animation Studios, 'Elemental' First Trailer

Today Pixar animation studios bring the first trailer and poster for their next animated film, Elemental an animated romantic comedy. Like many Pixar films, “Elemental” imagines a society and world where non-human beings live and work together. The movie is set in Element City, where beings made of the classical four elements — water, earth, fire, and air — coexist in a world otherwise very much like the modern day. The main character Ember (Leah Lewis) is a tough, sharp-witted young woman made of fire, who meets and develops a friendship with her polar opposite in both element and personality: the laid-back and sentimental Wade (Mamoudou Athie), a young man made of water. Their friendship, which is challenged by the fact that literally touching Wade hurts Ember, causes her to reconsider her beliefs about the world. The teaser shows their meet-cute, so to speak, where they both reach to grab Ember’s headphones after she drops them in a crowded train car. The teaser also reveals some of the character designs for the denizens of Element City, with kids made of clouds and wind and grassy people with trees and flowers growing out of their bodies populating the frame. “Elemental” is directed by Peter Sohn, who has worked at Pixar since 2003 when he was a story and production artist for “Finding Nemo.” After working as an animator for “The Incredibles,” “Ratatouille,” “Wall-E,” and “Up,” he was promoted to Pixar’s senior creative team in 2013, and made his directorial debut with 2015’s “The Good Dinosaur.” In a presentation of footage from the film at the D23 Expo in September, Sohn said that the film was inspired by the love story of his parents, who immigrated to New York from Korea in the ’70s. Denise Ream serves as the producer on the film. “Elemental” releases in theaters June 16, 2023. It will notably be the first original Pixar film to receive a theatrical release since 2020’s “Onward,” after Disney choose to release “Soul,” “Luca,” and this year’s “Turning Red” exclusively on Disney+. “Lightyear,” a “Toy Story” spinoff that saw Sohn voice the robotic cat Sox, premiered in theaters this June. Other upcoming Pixar projects include “Elio,” starring America Ferrera, and a sequel to 2015’s “Inside Out.” Both of those films release in 2024. Watch the full teaser for “Elemental” below.
