“@Petedash I've seen many artists, myself included, to draw much more than ever. I've had more content for my Cuisine galleries this year, within the last 5 years, all due to Patreon. There had been a three-year drought in my content because I had to wrestle with tuitions and getting underpaid by a bunch of local jobgivers. This now being able to support me, I can do a fully colored picture every month and I share it on my other galleries, while also working on comics and laying the groundwork for my future projects.

My problem with E-Hentai is that people are less likely to share my content that's up on my FurAffinity, DeviantArt, Tumblr, Twitter etc. because it's not "paywalled" and therefore worthless to pirate. However, for a lot of people, E-Hentai is the only place they get to see my content, and then end up spitballing a bunch of untrue stuff because they think this is the entirety of what I have to offer to people. I get to put more time and effort on my colored pictures more than ever in my life and those who search for it and see it, seem to really adore it all. I end up showing more than 70% of my Patreon content with everybody - I only keep one big comic work, because I think my patrons deserve something. Rest of the content, including these "quick sketches", I post them on my Twitter and Tumblr to keep the retention up. I do post them sparingly but it's better than spamming my followers. I also don't think ANY artist has done what you've said, whilst also being able to keep their Patreon campaigns running without a hassle. What you're describing is just terrible for one's exposure and it makes them unable to attract more patrons. I'm sorry I'm only one person who has to keep 3 different sets of people happy all at the same time just because I happen to ask for 5 bucks a month for full access. “
