#pester the hitchhiker grub (a void creature)

*Overdrive turns his arms into drills and tunnels through the ground! his creatures the ones that are left do the same! popping up inside UVG's crawler! before sealing up the hole he just made!* UVG: WHAT the HELL!? Overdrive: get us OUTTA HERE! N O W!!!! *he spins around'n PUNCHES it! the whole crawler turning around and starting to drive off at max speed!* UVG: WELL THIS WAS UTTERLY POINTLESS! ALL THIS TROUBLE FOR- *Overdrive covers his mouth! before putting a hand palm out stretched in front of him! a projector pops up and creates a holographic screen! with data'n charts!* Overdrive: combat data'n the psychic energy readings from that lil lizard helping them! I think one of YOUR pet projects, would find this USEFUL? its clear i'm getting sloppy! tune me up! i'll give you THIS AND help ya! deal? now SHUT up! *he lets go of UVG's mouth! who after scowling at Overdrive! starts MANICALLY laughing! wasn't a complete waste! meanwhile Null rushes through that portal! and activates his own systems to keep it open!* Null: phew! thanks Expo! this should keep this portal stable! don't want ya using TOO much power-

Expo, Auto, and the collective hop through the portal. "I believe that you can do better, Alakyo. Listen to what your tribe wants." he says. "And, Dranon, as much as you deny it, you're half-void. I'd like to my home. There's somebody I want you to meet. I can even just open a portal so you two can talk without having to leave each place."

Dranon doesn't know why, but he starts crying. "I'll.. think about it." he says, curling his tail "But I want to help this tribe back to their home and h-help with the harvest a bit? Might help calm me d-down..."

"Good choice. We have 4 new members we want to introduce to the Osega properly." Olmec says with a chirp!

"My mom decided to join! in!" Pester says, excitedly!

A centipede that looks like their legs are fairly lights affectionately gives Pester a hug "The rest of you can call me Shimmer!"

"I wonder if I can lift this whole thing?" A weird snail with giant skin flaps says. "My name is Koji! My species is called a Citusk

Two heads pop out of one of the holes of the droid and one shoots out a small amount of fire "The Osega is so hot and stuffy... my name is Drakelong"

"You get used to it..." Blacky says "Seems you all ended up in a scrap. Hope Rzore is OK."

"I'm sure she's fine" the weirdest of the new creatures says. "Name's Yuffey."

Null: listen! I know its CORNY as heck! but USE the good within you! he's BORN from evil! feeds off it! and IS it! SO are all his creations! it RELIES on you to DOUBT yourself! TO give in! WHY do you THINK someone THAT powerful HASN'T managed to KILL us yet? because we think good ALWAYS wins in the end! and thus? he CAN'T win! even IF he does NOW! he won't in total! so! FOLLOW my lead! *he creates a construct shot gun and FIRES at one of the abominations! blowing a MASSIVE hole in its chest! Overdrive PUNCHES outta the ground pulling himself up!* Overdrive: okay! NOW I'M MAD! *several devices pop up and he hits'em! on his arm! the EVOS twitch! their one of them with four arms! suddenly grows several feet! its skin turns DARK red! and an extra set of eyes appear on its head! under the originals! its toes merge into two MASSIVE clawed versions as it charges forwards! the rest Mutate! some growing wings! other plant mass! and start following suit! nows the time to go ALL OUT! *

Dranon suddenly sets off a powerful surge of positive energy, and then looks really confused on where the heck that came from.

"I saved my friends with my powers!" Expo says

"We're saving people now!" Firefly, Stinger, Olmec, Aych, and Pester say from the Voiddroid

"I am a Guardian Angel of an entire City!" Auto says

"...I can still change as a person...?" Alakyo tries to match

Null: Null's the name! the "guy" missing half the face is Collective! this's Expo and Auto introduced himself! now! WHY is yer DEAR LITTLE leader SO interested in my pal here? *gestures to collective! meanwhile Rzore's home gets a frantic! PANICKED knock at the door! it almost BUCKLES from the force! "Null" stands on the other side! his eye'n half the the skin on his head are MISSING! his arm's snapped- badly'n BAD looking wounds splatter his torso!* "Null": Rzore! ugh... h-help! oh god-

Notebuster was the one who answered the door, wrong person. "What do you need help with! And shush, nobody's supposed to know where our home is!" he asks

"This is sus." Avtug says from the background.

"We use all our energy making plants grow, and it's either the tribe uses more energy than they have to harvest before we're allowed to eat, or he forces creatures with the ability to speak to do it in exchange of them getting food from us." Qar explains

"And our energy being so exploited that my mom ended up having to go through metamorphosis to keep up!" Pester huffs, peeking outside of the Voiddroid

Null: got it! *he makes sure its on! and is now following Auto'n collective! time for an adventure!*

A void portal is made and everyone who wants to enter enters! Expo is sitting on Auto's back, and the Voiddroid collective sticks close to auto.

Firefly stretches out from the Voiddroid "It feels nice being able to spread my arms without any worry"

"Agreed, but with my legs!" Stinger responds

"This is much more empty than last time I've been here, admittedly." Auto says

"You've missed a lot. Guessing Blacky never touched on the Great Void War during the visit?" Expo asks

"I can take a guess that's the reason Rzore was mentioning her tribe being wiped out, you touched on it with her?" Auto asks

"Basically a TL;DR is that Blacky fell in love with the leader of the Pink Crystal tribe, his dad didn't like it, war happened. The Pink Crystal Tribe didn't win. By the way, I'm Expo, a half-void. My dad was from the Black Glitch tribe and he ended up dying in the war." Expo explains then introduces himself. "There's also a dragon guy here now that's super fast and allows people to use him as fast travel if you can hold on. He calls himself 'the dranon'. Honestly, despite what he claims, I think he's also a half-void, he looks like he's from a Just Shapes and Beats universe if you discount all the purple pearls on him."

"A what universe?" Auto questions, looking over.

"A universe where everyone is made out of shapes, as another TL;DR." Expo replies. "He's a dragon, like a Ficephice, but only one head."

Auto nods understandingly

"And we exist." Olmec says, peeking his head out. "More and more cases of Hyperintelligence is happening, and the leader of the Farmer Tribe, Alakyo, keeps on enslaving us."

"Ah... That makes sense why we're here, then." Auto replies. "How many more of you are there?"

"I'm here!" Aych responds

"Hi!" Pester squeaks out

Null: *pulls out a GUN* open that portal again- *NULL NO- *

"NO!" the whole collective says at once.

"I don't wanna make the farmer tribe more mad at us than they already are for us escaping their fields of endless work." Stinger says, shying away a little

"They still have my ma..." Pester squeaks out "worked her so much she had to metamorphosis just to keep up"

"Additionally, we don't want them dragging you in there till you cease existence. If you want to help us, we need a void demon from the Metallics tribe who can make basically the opposite version of this void core. Even if your lantern cores could work, it's just much safer for it to be in a more controlled environment where there isn't stalkers. If we any of the tribe members are killed, they have more excuse to enslave us with no breaks." Firefly explains

"The only way we escaped was through blending in with the normal members of our species and slipping away, acting less intelligent." Olmec says "I got out because a flock came to eat some candy moss."

"I got out because some of the Bloodoil was also being flocked to." Aych says

"Me and Stinger were thankfully not part of the labor fields, but I feared it." Firefly explains "and then that surge of power that ripped us out of the void happened."

Null: SO! *to the Keis'n Pester!* WELCOME to the family my fine fellas! names Null! Null, lantern! at yer service! really the pleasure's mine!

"You may call me Olmec." The ground-bound Kei introduces themselves again

"My name is Aych, spelled A-y-c-h." Aych smiles

Pester waves again

Null: oh so is he hiding from me cause of my reputation? or?

Pester peeks back out. In their tiny voice they say "You're big enough to crush me without thought."

Aych smiles "I protect Pester from predators."

*Null kicks in the door!* Null: everyone okay i heard screaming- why is firefly'n stinger's energy readings so high now!? and why are there two chickens with four legs inside'em!?

"The inside expanded." Firefly says

"It's bigger on the inside now!" Stinger repeats in a way the kids can understand

Pester peeks out from Aych's head before ducking back in, startled by Null.

"Also a Void portal opened briefly. These two Keis came in during the brief moment. It is quite intriguing that us Void fauna with the rare hyperintelligent gene all manage to find each other. Better here than with Alakyo." Firefly observed.

"I ended up removing a bunch of Hitchhiker Grubs off the ground-bound Kei, Olmec. The winged Kei, Aych, only has one, and the one also has the Hyper-intelligent gene, something I did not know was possible on Hitchhiker Grubs. The Grub's name is Pester." Notebuster explained, showing Null his pink void crystal with all the grubs on it. "They were trying to eat Stinger, as the monstera plants and their mimics are natural prey for the Hitchhiker Grubs."

Waffle: *hisses!* MEOW! *they jump into the Void droid once it stumbles by and starts ATTACKING the grubs! swatting them like a cat! VERY angy! they also bark at the grubs! you'd ALSO swear the kid's getting BIGGER!? and a silent but ever growing LOUDER cracking sound can be heard from'em? Notebuster- ya might wanna- uh GET INVOLVED- *

Notebuster pries Waffle off of The Voiddroid before saying, in his real voice, "Let me handle this."

Firefly moves out of the way so Notebuster can observe and help more properly

Pester, thankfully, was unharmed. They look at Notebuster and, in the tiniest voice you can imagine, says "please don't hurt me. I'm aware!"

Notebuster pats Pester with a single finger, before summoning a small pink void crystal to put all the non-sapient Hitchhiker Grubs on, plucking them off of Olmec and Stinger, and making sure Aych didn't have any extras on her. After it is all settled, Notebuster gets a better look at Pester. "I heard all Void Fauna had a chance of Hyperintelligence, but I did not realize it extended to even the bugs." his speaker spoke for him.

"I didn't either till they begged me to not pluck them off at my stop near the carnivorous fields." Aych admits

Pester says nothing and just goes back to being comfy in Aych's head feathers.

"Intriguing." Notebuster's screen spoke. "I think I can keep these others as pets. Mom would like having some home around. It would be too dangerous to put a pink void crystal back into the void nowadays, anyways."

*the portal closes as the body re-calibrated! and it starts translating the two new peep's voices to English!* Waffle: chicken nuggets attack fwiend! >:( *the shouted at the two who just flew INTO the voidDroid! its also weirdly ROOMER in there now? huh? *

"It appears there is a lot more room inside of this Voiddroid now." Firefly observes, stretching out his legs and tentacles.

"Nice and roomy! And two new friends!" Stinger says, excitedly "Keis!"

"It is bigger on the inside. Enough for all of us to fit in here? That was quite the weird... thing." The ground-bound Kei says, stretching out all 4 legs. "There's food in here, too! My name is Olmec."

"I'm Aych. Pronounced like how you pronounce the letter H." The winged Kei introduces themself. "I also have a friend in Pester!"

A little grub-like bug pops up from Aych's head feathers and waves.

Aaand Stinger starts to panic upon sensing one of his natural predators. Kinda ironic given his species is a parasite/predator against most void species.

Pester reaches out and grabs a berry to eat, preferring them to the monstera plants.

However, some other, less-sapient Hitchhiker Grubs were on Olmec, and they do start biting Stinger. And since Stinger is controlling the legs of the voiddroid, they starts stumbling around.
