i always read the tags on my posts and an aspect of arcane that a few people seem to be missing is that they want you to think for yourself. an explicitly stated goal of the writers is to start a conversation and get people thinking about the moral implications of their characters' actions. you can still side with jinx. you can still side with zaun. it's fine. all the oppression didn't go away just because they humanised piltover, because humanity is still capable of cruelty and neglect, and the council no longer being a faceless enemy doesn't change that. if anything it makes it more real. that's why jinx is doing what she's doing. they have not inherently condemned fighting back and at this point i seriously doubt that they will. i say the following with all gentleness and sincerity: you have a brain and you are free to use it. this is not the kind of show to spoonfeed you moral lessons. please please please exercise the freedom to make up your own mind
