like if youre going to apply the idea of depression to the lonely go for it. but the lonely is not necessarily meant to be a depression analog. it's about lack of human connection and feeling disconnected from society, whether self-imposed or due to external circumstances. iirc, only mag150 had a lonely victim who didn't expressly state they preferred to be alone
