[ OCTAVIA AXFORD | 35 YEARS OLD | HUMAN ]
She is the youngest child of the Axford family from Staten Island, NY, and the granddaughter of Mylene Tillyman. She is the only human in her family which consists of mostly witches. She works at the roller skating rink, Roller Rocket, under the name DJ Venus. She lives with her grandmother in the downtown area of Lunar Cove. Her main goal is to get out of Lunar Cove as soon as she can.
(trigger warning: child neglect and divorce)
PERSONALITY.
She is a free-spirited, chill, and music-loving human woman who cherishes her peace. She is into Record Collecting, Yoga, and DJing. She is a bit guarded around people and has a difficult time letting people in, but that's because she has a big heart that sometimes gets the best of her.
APPEARANCE.
She has brown skin with warm undertones, a small round nose, dark brown oval eyes, and black wavy hair that was manipulated with heat. She dresses her slim figure in retro, thrift clothing. She takes inspiration from the 70s and 80s when it comes to her fashion style. Her faceclaim is Shannon Thornton.
BACKGROUND.
Octavia swore that she was cursed. At least, that was what it was like growing up as the only human in a family filled with witches. Her parents, Raymond and Deborah Axford, were exceptional light witches who fell in love during their college years at Cheyney University while majoring in business. They were both ambitious and calculated to the point where they were considered the ultimate power couple to their peers. To this day, they are still the power couple their peers claimed them to be when they went to create the flourishing cosmetics brand known as Phadera. In their lavish home in Staten Island, they went on to have many talented and magical children who could carry on the proud Axford name both among the humans and their witch kind. That was until little Octavia Axford was born.
Her parents didn't know what to do with her once they realized she was their human child. There was nothing magical about her. She was not of much use to the Axford name as a human other than molding her to be someone exceptional to the general public. But that was not what Octavia wanted. She always had a curiosity about the supernatural world that she was denied being a part of by birth. Her own humanity was a curse to her, her parents, and even her seven older siblings. She did not want to be just a human. She wanted to be magical. She wanted to be exceptional like her family. It was not fair to her.
But as Octavia entered her teen years, her innocent curiosity toward all supernatural evolved into a cynical perspective thanks to her unfortunate upbringing. Her parents were strict on her to make something of herself to make up for what she lacked. Her siblings hardly interacted with her because they were busy trying to be the perfect witches for their parents. Octavia witnessed how awful supernatural beings can be. How magic was not all sunshine and rainbows like books and tv shows made them out to be. At the age of sixteen years, she started to learn that maybe her so-called curse was a blessing in disguise. So, she ignored her childhood disappointments, her parents' wants, and the supernatural to begin to figure out who this painfully average human girl is.
Octavia never did make a name for herself by the time she hit her 30s, but she was content with herself. She finished college with a degree in education, became a music teacher, and got married to the woman of her dreams. Everything she could ever want was all in the arms of her wife and their little house in Sedona, Arizona. She was far, far away from her family and anything dealing with the supernatural. She was at peace. Though, it was a peace that ended up being, unfortunately, short-lived. Octavia did not know how it happened or why, but her beloved wife got turned into the one thing she wanted nothing to deal with ever again. A supernatural. Octavia tried to make the marriage work. She really did but there were too many issues that arise in their marriage because of this sudden change. Her wife did not seem like the same woman she once fell in love with. She could still remember the night she broke down, tears streaming down her face, and begged her wife for a divorce in a tired voice.
Octavia pushed to forget her past and her complicated issues with the supernatural once she agreed to go live with her erratic maternal grandma, Mylene Tillyman, who happened to be the only member of the Axford she could tolerate these days. Octavia promised herself that she was only going to stay until she could get back on her feet. Though her dear grandma failed to explain to her the true nature of Lunar Cove and its people.
TRIVIA.
Octavia's birthday is February 20th and her zodiac sign is Pisces.
Octavia doesn't like anything supernatural at all.
Mylene Tillyman is an 87 years old woman who has a flair for drama and fashion. She used to be a well-known singer in the late 1950's.
Octavia's favorite hangouts in Lunar Cove are WORE-DROBE, BLISS YOGA, BROKEN RECORD, & HEADS OR TAILS.
#.. will expend on this in the future but this is just a quick intro for now#child neglect trigger warning#divorce trigger warning

THE GEM OF THE DESERT
So last week I flew out to Carefree, AZ. I was supposed to attend a retreat called Summer Camp for the Soul at a wellness resort called CIvana. Only two of us registered and they ended up canceling the retreat but they still wanted me to come so they took the money I paid and used it as a regular reservation and I could take different classes then the ones I was signed up for. I also had an all inclusive package. Who could say no to that, right? The thing is I didn't want to go there to be luxurious and live the "good life." I went there for self study and improvement, and I will say mission accomplished.
To give you a little background about CIvana, it's a beautiful property smack dab in the middle of the desert. They have a restaurant, a spa, a nice little cafe, a fitness center and tons of classes that one could take to improve something about their life. Whether it was a fitness goal, a mindfulness goal, wanted to relax to combat burnout, or just needed to let shit go, Civana is a wonderful place for that. Every day we would have an intention ceremony in the morning and a gratitude ceremony for the evening. It is something I want to incorporate into my practice. Still need to get on that.
I arrived Monday and was given a tour of the facility. They gave me a water bottle that I could fill up at many hydration stations throughout the resort. My room was awesome, had a beautiful view of the sunrise and sunset as the bed was pointed to the balcony. I got to smell that hot Arizona air. I then went a worked out in the fitness center, after I took a trampoline class, followed by a meditation class that I was not going to take. My goal was to take the aerial yoga class but it was full. I ended up going to take that class and I met a woman named Veronica Clark. Ironically, Veronica was the person who was going to facilitate the retreat. The class was great as went over much more than just meditation. It was a great refresher on some yoga stuff. I approached her after class and we talked about the retreat being cancelled and my journey as a yoga teacher. She had so much great energy. It was infectious. I made sure to take more classes with her. I did a relaxing meditation in the silks, and sound jouney after. I ate at the restaurant. They had good vegan options. More on that later.
The next day I did a class called healing waters where we I had to challenge the dreaded cold plunge. The class was really tough because we were supposed to go into the plunge first for three minutes, then the hot water for three minutes, back to the cold for three, and back to hot for three, and finish off for three. The teacher Emma was a yoga teacher (I took her class after this, really good class) and as I sat in the cold, she was very good at watching my breathing and my reaction. I wanted to give up and get out, but her words kept me locked in. The problem was the hot water was broken, so we went in the warm pool, which wasn't very warm. The next round we went in the sauna. The most important thing is I finished it. After these classes along with some great cauliflower tacos for lunch, I prepared myself to take a class with Veronica called "I am" which was a class to help develop a mantra. It was a very emotional, deep class and it was amazing as my final mantra was "I am going to step into the man I was born to be." It's been working well. Did my first of three spa treatments. The spa was awesome. they have good cucumber water and tea there. Jane, my therapist who was going to provide two of my three treatments was amazing.
On Wednesday, I went on a kayak adventure after meditation. There were a couple other people there and I still can't believe there was a lake in the middle of the desert. We were out there for a while, and I made sure I sun blocked myself frequently. I didn't burn. When I got back, I ate lunch and took on my second treatment, and bounced into a couple of classes about Feng Shui, and numerology. Very cool stuff as I have been working on the art of Feng Shui in my house now. Angela was very helpful and knowledgeable and kept the class very fun. Did the soundbath and silk thing again.
Thursday would be Veronica day as I took three classes with her. The first being a yoga class that was awesome. It was very challenging. Aren't those the best kind? The next class with her was journaling about the 8 desires. It gave me clarity on some things and i made some great connections in the class. Later that evening, I took a class about intimacy with her. I had to move my flight up a little bit and this class was super powerful. It helped me connect to the fact my inner critic is real, and takes the shape of my father. This was very deep and emotional. I really touched my heart and had to break on through to the other side. I am so thankful to Veronica for challenging me to push through some real hard shit that I needed to let go of. She is an amazing human and I hope to see more of her in the future. Perhaps a guest on the show in the future maybe.
Civana was such a wonderful experience. The cafe had these great smoothie and latte suggestions that are all vegan friendly as well as their restaurant. Before I left I had to eat those cauliflower tacos again. Also they had zuchini lasanga, these ricotta dumplings (the oat milk based ricotta was sooooooo good), and then a chocolate moose desert to die for.
Five star experience, I plan on going back. I just hope my trip home is better next time because I was stuck in the airport for 28 hours. It didn't matter. i wouldn't let it destroy my buzz.
I want to thank Veronica, Emma, Jane, and everyone at Civana for making me feel welcome, helping me to grow, and giving me an unforgettable experience. I would advise anyone who is on a journey for growth make a plan to visit.
Thank you so much.
And thanks for reading

WOW imagine that feeling when someone you kinda knew from yoga, etc was kind of obnoxious and an MLMer for young living, but you were like “well she’s 20 and a Follower of Yoga Culture, of course she’s acting dumb and super naive”
And since you were watching a YouTube video about the shittiness of young living, you’re like huh I wonder what she’s up to since she was definitely a casualty of my last Facebook purge and. you know. hardcore Covid denier, antivaxxer, anti-masker, still a supporter of 45 and his cronies in 2022. normal.
Anyway people are like omg a pipeline between hippie dippy bullshit and qanon/trumpists/far right?! And I’m like yep, here is a person who fits all that and at one point was working as a special ed aide (so imprinting all that onto children!!) to a T. I had a feeling while I was getting to know her (and the leader of her teacher training, who is the same) and it solidified when she started posting about “starting her own business selling essential oils and promoting wellness now that she’s a certified yoga teacher and has experienced the benefits of essential oils!!”
Oh buddy. Well. You keep reposting marjorie Taylor greene’s Facebook posts and wearing your “fauci lied” shirt to TJ’s all you want. Just please continue to stay in arizona, very far away from me.
#tbh I had a feeling when I found out her boyfriend’s (now HISBAND’S) name was buddy#who the fuck names their child buddy. who MARRIES someone named buddy#I’m just so disappointed even though I haven’t spoken to her since 2019

The Potential Of Kundalini Yoga: Arizona Training Courses
Arizona is well-known for its breathtaking scenery, diverse range of life zones, stunning canyons, and vibrant sunsets. Still, it's also the location of some remarkable yoga retreats and teacher training programs. When discussing personal yoga teachers in Arizona, we often refer to small-group or one-on-one teaching with the added benefit of an instructor's undivided attention during the whole session. Meme city, vol. 3: self-positivity!
I was tagged in this one by @letshargroovetonight and @tracy7307—thank you, loves!
Rules: Answer with 5 things you like about yourself, publicly. Then, tag 10 of your favourite people (non-negotiable, positivity is cool).
1.) I’ve had an interesting life. It hasn’t always been the life that I ‘wanted’—ask me about the four years I spent in Arizona purgatory!—but I’ve done unusual things and lived in more and more varied places/cultures than average, and it’s given me an unusual and valuable perspective.
2.) I’m always trying to broaden my perspective. Listening doesn’t come to me naturally—my usual inclinations are more along the lines of “I’m the star, isn’t everyone here to listen to me?”—but my father once told me something quite useful: “if you think back over the past few minutes and you haven’t learned anything, maybe you’re talking too much”. I’ve worked hard to learn how to make space for others in conversation and genuinely consider what they have to say, and it’s absolutely one of the most useful skills I have, both for social bonding (so many people are desperate to feel heard and seen!) and for expanding my own viewpoint.
3.) I’m in the best shape of my life right now, despite being on the cusp of middle age. I try to be careful how I talk about this, because the subject of physical fitness is so fraught in our culture; I want to acknowledge the work I’ve done (figuring out dietary and lifestyle changes as well as the hours of actual exercise) as well as the areas where I’m lucky (having the time and disposable income to devote to exercise and good food, as well as being physically healthy to begin with and living in an environment with plenty of opportunities). But I’m proud of the where I am without (I think?) being judgemental towards people whose abilities/priorities are in other areas.
4.) I’ve worked hard to be more compassionate towards others—but I can still unleash the snark when I need to. As a teen/twentysomething, I was all about passing judgement and making fun of people’s hypocrisies and generally being a critical person, and honestly a good chunk of that was because I didn’t like myself very much. I’ve since done a lot of work towards being more compassionate and open with myself, and that’s given me the ability to be more open and accepting with others—I’ve found that I’m much happier if I give others the benefit of the doubt, and work from the premise that we’re all doing the best we can from where we’re at. (It’s made me a much better teacher, too—it’s hard to teach someone from where you think they should be rather than where they are!) That said, I’m glad I have that ability to think critically about others and articulate their problems; it’s saved me worlds of difficulty in dealing with disingenuous people!
5.) I try hard to make people’s lives around me a little better every day. Whether that’s exchanging pleasantries with the homeless dude who hangs out on a particular street corner, or smiling at the guy in the wheelchair crossing the street, or listening empathetically to a friend or client who’s been having a rough time, or giving somebody a killer massage or yoga assist, or bopping along the street with “Uptown Funk” in my headphones and watching people laugh as i dance past them Miles Morales-style, I’m always looking for opportunities to help people feel a little better. In the yoga training I went to recently, we talked about a quote that resonated with me: “The definition of a perfect action is one that brings harm to no one and happiness to someone.” That’s pretty close to my life philosophy—I can’t fix the many large and difficult problems we’re facing, but I can maybe inspire people to feel a little more connected and hopeful, and that’s not nothing.
Tagging @blahblahblaharringrove, @skybound2, @twobrokenwyngs, @laveracevia, @asakiyume, @marsza, @suitofarmour, @trashcangimmick, @runs-in-the-family, and @black-hearts-and-broken-fists! If y’all feel like it, I’d love to see your lists.
#so I'm basically a bard#is what I'm saying#in case the guitar didn't give it away#or the hair haha#tag games#self-positivity#about me#my weird life

Why Many Are Now Drawn To Holistic Healing
Learn why holistic recovery is becoming an increasingly popular choice to western medicine.
Joanne Perron, M.D., spent five years practicing medicine in a busy OB/GYN workplace, where the individuals rotated with as if on a production line-- in and also out in 10 mins. 'I was exhausted,' she remembers by phone from her home in Monterey, The golden state. 'By the end of the day, I really felt disconnected and also emphasized. Eventually, I got extremely aggravated as well as disillusioned and also started to ask myself, 'Is that there is?"
Perron needed to encounter that she wasn't the therapist she had actually laid out to end up being. 'Traditional medication is like a religion,' she claims. 'You get indoctrinated at an early age, and afterwards often you begin to doubt your idea system. You begin to ask, 'Why?'-- or, more crucial, 'Why not?"
The doubting began as she realized that the points conventional medication had educated her didn't often treat her people. As well as several of those patients came back to inform her they would certainly gotten much better after attempting different therapies-- for instance, botanical treatments for menopausal symptoms, Chinese natural herbs for uterine bleeding, or acupuncture for discomfort. In Georgia, where she was after that exercising medicine, petition is typically employed in order to help healing as well. 'I really felt there was a void in my expertise. My people were pursuing points I understood absolutely nothing around,' she claims. 'I had discovered all that I could, but I recognized I required to discover more.' Perron reduced her hrs at the workplace as well as began taking yoga classes, in time, she signed up in a 200-hour yoga educator accreditation program.
Perron's patients belong to the expanding group of Americans transforming toward complementary and also natural medicine to cure their ills and enhance their lifestyle. A national survey launched last Might by the National Facility for Complementary and Natural medicine (NCCAM) and the National Center for Health Stats found that 36 percent of UNITED STATE adults utilize corresponding and natural medicine. That number jumps to 62 percent when prayer made use of specifically for health factors is consisted of in the definition. The factors for alternate medication's popularity go past the useful, according to a 1998 Journal of the American Medical Association post authored by John A. Astin, Ph.D., labelled 'Why Clients Use Different Medicine.' Astin composed that individuals looking for alternative medication aren't always dissatisfied with traditional medicine, yet they find 'these healthcare choices to be extra congruent with their very own values, ideas, and philosophical orientations toward wellness as well as life.' It holds true, there has been a considerable evolution in our time towards a much more proactive, all natural sight of health. Conventional medicine has a lopsided sight of the physical, mental, as well as spiritual body,' surmises Andrew Weil, M.D. By currently a cultural symbol with his friendly smile and also big grey beard, Weil has long been willing to handle the clinical mainstream and also supporter exactly what he calls integrative medication. His definition of the term is really simple: healing-oriented medication that considers the entire individual (body, mind, and also spirit), consisting of all elements of lifestyle. It emphasizes the therapeutic partnership between customer as well as healer as well as utilizes all proper treatments, both standard as well as alternative.
In 1994, Weil was important in developing the University of Arizona medical college's Program in Integrative Medication, the first detailed, continuing-education fellowship to give doctors the possibility to find out about alternative treatments such as botanicals, acupuncture, Reiki, massage, diet plan, and also reflection-- and how they could be made use of to improve clinical care, protect against ailment, as well as improve lifestyle. However more crucial, this program encourages a thoughtful shift in the technique of the healing arts. 'Instead of simply bringing these treatments in with an emphasis on condition, we're taking a look at the entire body, at way of life, at the partnership between the expert as well as the patient,' Weil discusses. 'Not just is this the sort of medication individuals want, but it has the possible to recover the core values of medicine in an age of handled treatment.'
Perron registered in the College of Arizona's Integrative Medication program specifically to return to a path a lot more straightened with her original objectives for coming to be a medical professional. 'I wished to feel more like I was taking part in recovery,' she explains.
Perron remained in the second graduating class of an associate fellowship program that requires 1,000 hrs certainly work (mostly online) over a two-year duration and also three on-site workshops. Until now, the University of Arizona's Program in Integrative Medication has ended up 151 doctors that have found out the best ways to integrate the most effective of the East and the West into their medical techniques-- and also right into their very own lives.
Yet, how far have we actually come since Weil began his program, considering there are more compared to 800,000 medical professionals in the country? Medical schools are loath to require an integrative curriculum. Also the University of Arizona medical institution does not require an integrative program, integrative medicine stays an elective. Under these situations, what type of impact can 150 or so physicians make?
Even though some people in the clinical establishment refer patients to therapies like acupuncture or massage therapy, there still exists a bias towards allopathic (that is, conventional) medication. Perron has actually experienced this resistance from medical coworkers that are doubtful of her integrative approach. 'There is this uncertainty that just what I'm attempting to do is also 'woo-woo,' also much out in left field,' she says.
Weil has certainly took on his reasonable share of flak, a few of it virulent. As an example, in a 1998 New Republic post, Weil gadfly Arnold S. Relman, M.D., former editor-in-chief of the New England Journal of Medicine and also teacher emeritus of medicine as well as social medication at Harvard Medical College, believed," Breathing' is a crucial and persisting style in Weil's prescriptions for wellness as well as healing, and it holds a popular place in [ Weil's book] 8 Weeks to Optimum Wellness, which showed up in 1997. As far as I can see, his viewpoints on this subject are largely nonsense.' Relman, apparently unknown with the yogic arts, included, 'In the lack of sustaining proof ... skepticism is certainly in order, specifically considering that idea in much of just what Weil is claiming concerning body and mind, and the ability of consciousness to run in the physical world, requires a rejection of the essential physical legislations upon which our present views of nature and the human body are based.' Weil rejects these remarks as a tirade from 'the quackbuster group. They'll pass from the scene. They're ideologues declaring to be doubters.'
With or without Weil, the medical facility could not neglect the pattern towards integrative medicine, especially taking into consideration the economics. In 1998, Americans invested $23.7 billion on alternative health and wellness care companies, in 1999, they spent $4.4 billion on herbs, up from $2.5 billion in 1995. In addition, the percentage of healthcare facilities supplying complementary and natural medicine has actually increased, from 8 percent in 1998 to 16.7 percent in 2002, inning accordance with the American Healthcare facility Organization. Clinical institutions have taken note: virtually two-thirds currently provide some sort of elective integrative medication curriculum.
Tracy Gaudet, M.D., supervisor of Fight it out College's Facility for Integrative Medicine (she was formerly the executive director of the University of Arizona's integrative medication program), has given herself as well as her cohorts a big charge. 'Our objective is to change the entire strategy to health care in this country,' she describes. 'We realize that it's not nearly using botanicals or obtaining acupuncture. Individuals are stating they desire the entire standard of therapy to change towards an extra aggressive concept. People wish to intend for their health as well as not await something bad to happen. In this way we're checking out the entire range of a person-- mind, body, and spirit, not just the body.'
To that finish, Gaudet and also her coworkers at Duke have created what they're calling a 'prospective' health and wellness care version, one that provides patients with individualized health care preparation and goals making use of a variety of modalities outside the clinical mainstream-- practices and also sources like yoga, mindfulness, reflection, and nourishment. Maybe the most innovative element of the Fight it out design is the principle of a 'health and wellness instructor,' a person educated to encourage actions modification. Initial results from a 10-month pilot research study, provided at an American Heart Association conference in 2014, suggest that participants in the treatment group significantly reduced their risk of developing heart problem. As well as this year, Duke will release outcomes showing that this group worked out extra regularly as well as consumed more healthy meals compared to the control group.
Renée Halberg, a licensed scientific social employee at the Battle each other College Eye Center, registered in the research study to assist take care of tension and also menopausal weight gain. At her consumption interview, she learned that her family members history of adult-onset diabetes and also hypertension, combined with her being overweight, greatly enhanced her danger for those diseases. 'I found out how much I might alter that negative outcome,' she states. 'It was worrying when they provided me with these threat variables expressed in lab results. It was also really motivating.'
The most valuable skill Halberg found out was the ability to change her habits towards the anxiety in her life. 'Like hundreds of various other people, I replaced food for things I lost: I was depressed. I was grieving over not having had a youngster. I underwent a divorce. And I acquired 60 pounds,' she remembers. 'That was terrible, particularly given that I didn't have any type of devices to do anything regarding it.'
The program, particularly the mindfulness and reflection training, aided her locate her self-confidence as well as motivation.
So far, she has actually lost concerning 25 extra pounds and also transformed her diet plan to incorporate whole grains, seeds, veggies, and health foods and also to remove fats and processed carbs. Her high blood pressure went from 150/90 to 120/80, and also her cholesterol levels are stable. The breathwork and also leisure skills are exactly what have helped her the a lot of. 'Whenever I have the impulse to consume something like a sweet bar, I do deep breathing or progressive muscle mass leisure,' she says. 'It takes my mind off it, as well as by the time I'm completed, I shed the wish. I feel focused as well as refreshed, and also I understand I can depend on myself rather than simply reacting to the tensions of the external globe.'
Research like Battle each other College's is vital to impacting change within the clinical establishment. Without it, it's really tough for the clinically minded to approve an extra integrative method to medicine. Fortunately is that funding for alternate treatment research has expanded significantly, owned mostly by the production of the NCCAM. From a first annual spending plan of $2 million in 1993, the center has actually expanded to a projected 2005 budget plan surpassing $121 million, and also today it is moneying groundbreaking research.
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Facility in New york city is one of the organizations taking benefit of NCCAM's grant cash. Having actually opened up an integrative medicine center in 1999 both to deal with patients and also to better clinical analysis of corresponding therapies, the research healthcare facility has a number of studies in progress. One is checking out the results of acupuncture on bust cancer cells patients experiencing from chemotherapy-induced hot flashes, another is exploring massage therapy, and a third is discovering whether certain Oriental herbs can minimize or eliminate off tumors. The facility's healing as well as research study job is nicely intertwined and also accessible-- for instance, its Internet site (www.mskcc.org) consists of an 'Concerning Natural herbs' data source of natural herbs, botanicals, vitamins, and supplements that is examined and monitored by an oncology-trained pharmacist as well as a botanicals expert. It gives overviews of study, communication info, as well as damaging results, and mentions the benefits of natural medicine-- overall, a significant resource.
But also the world-renowned cancer facility experienced resistance when it initially opened its integrative center. 'It certainly took child actions,' claims Simone Zappa, the facility's program director. Once the doctors saw that alternate medication was efficient at handling symptoms like pain, queasiness, and also fatigue, however, points got easier. 'I think I could state that we're 90 percent there currently. There are still particular points we have to be aware of. Medical professionals aren't going to take us seriously if we begin chatting concerning chakras and power. Whatever our idea is, we need to maintain credibility in the doctors' eyes.'
Sloan-Kettering's integrative medicine center supplies both in- as well as outpatient care. For people in the medical facility, specialists come to the bedside as well as offer massage, meditation, hypnosis, and also yoga sessions-- at no added charge. Simply 3 blocks away, in a spa-like setup, is the Bendheim Integrative Medicine Facility, Sloan-Kettering's outpatient integrative medication center. Simply inside the entryway is a gurgling water fountain and also soft, relaxing shades. Crystals and also mandala art poise a few of the wall surfaces. Organic tea, fruit, or juice breaks and also discussion take area in a small kitchen location. At this facility, people and also their households could take yoga exercise classes, discover hypnosis or reflection, get a massage therapy, see a nutritionist, receive acupuncture, or take qi gong. 'We are very involved with the family members as well,' Zappa explains. 'Households are typically neglected in cancer circumstances, as well as we desire to provide them reflection, therapy, massage, and anxiety management methods.'

QAnon’s Unexpected Roots in New Age Spirituality
Masculinity, faith and the strange convergence of counterculture and hate
I didn’t choose New Age culture. But I grew up in a college town in Northern California in the 1980s, where the ubiquitous Grateful Dead stickers, crystal shops and tarot card readers suggested that the 1960s ethos of self-discovery never ended. Psychedelic accoutrements and people who self-identified as seekers were normal to me — and so I craved mainstream American culture. I rebelled — mildly — by eating Domino’s pizza at sleepovers and idolizing the nihilism of 1970s punk.
It turns out that I didn’t entirely resist it. In the past decade or so, my fluency in the world of New Age culture, wellness, woo-woo (whatever you might call it) became a professional boon as a journalist. These ideas were taking off once again, especially among women who are White and middle-class, which I also am. I understood that world and had a lot to say about it. While on assignment I’ve gone to menstrual huts and tea ceremonies; I’ve gotten massaged by boa constrictors and I’ve meditated at sound baths. I’ve greeted this all with professional curiosity, something between an open mind and a world-weary arched eyebrow.
On Jan. 6, along with the rest of the country, I followed the news of the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol and the prominence of Confederate flags, nooses and other symbols of the far right. Like many others, I took note of the so-called QAnon Shaman: 33-year-old Jake Angeli, born Jacob Anthony Chansley, of Arizona. He was bare-chested and covered in Nordic tattoos, at least one of which, the Valknot, is a Norse symbol sometimes associated with white supremacy. But he was also, infamously, wearing a headdress fashioned from buffalo horns and coyote skin — elements associated with the American West that seemed to telegraph a pagan spirituality. I’ve been around a lot of White people who have adopted a mishmash of pagan and Indigenous signifiers as a New Age aesthetic. It’s a cringeworthy and offensive display of appropriation that I don’t endorse, but it’s common in that world.
After the attack on the Capitol, news reports unearthed that Chansley was a founder of something called the Star Seed Academy (in a certain New Age vernacular, a star seed is a higher being). The Facebook page for the venture, before it was taken down, read: “Star Seed Academy creates leaders of the highest order! We help people to awaken, evolve and ascend! Are you ready to be a leader? Are you ready to ascend?” Recently, Chansley’s lawyer, Albert Watkins, told me in a statement that his client “is deeply spiritual. His spirituality is serving him well as he traverses the pending federal charges.” He added that Chansley has “a personal commitment to Ahimsa,” the principle (found in Jainism, Hinduism and Buddhism) of doing no harm.
As a devotee of QAnon — the sprawling set of false claims that have coalesced into an extremist ideology deemed a domestic terrorist threat by the FBI — and a freedom fighter for Donald Trump, Chansley was my ideological opposite; yet there was also a lot about him that was familiar. It felt shocking and suggested serious flaws in a culture I thought I understood: a fine line between the kind of zeitgeist-y, sensitive New Age-guy version of masculinity, and something more nefarious. The idea of spiritual lineage is too generous to bestow on Chansley, but he represents a growing pipeline between New Age male spirituality, new masculinity movements and QAnon. This pipeline is one of unlikely connections and strange bedfellows, of mixed martial arts fighters and poets, evangelical Christians and yoga teachers.
In 2009, Charlotte Ward, an independent researcher on alternative spirituality — religious beliefs outside of conventional groups — began to notice a hybrid of conspiracy theory beliefs and New Age culture cropping up online. Two years later, she co-wrote a paper titled “The Emergence of Conspirituality” in the Journal of Contemporary Religion. She and co-writer David Voas, a quantitative social scientist at University College London, noted an emphasis on patterns and connections in both conspiracy culture and alternative spiritual beliefs. Nothing is as it seems, and nothing is an accident. “These worldviews make public and personal life respectively seem less subject to random forces and therein lies part of their appeal,” they wrote.
Ward and Voas defined “conspirituality” as a “politico-spiritual philosophy based on two core convictions” — one core to conspiracy theories and the other rooted in New Age belief systems: “1) a secret group covertly controls, or is trying to control, the political and social order, and 2) humanity is undergoing a ‘paradigm shift’ in consciousness. Proponents believe that the best strategy for dealing with the threat of a totalitarian ‘new world order’ is to act in accordance with an awakened ‘new paradigm’ worldview.”
In our cultural moment, when baseless claims about both a rigged election and the dangers of vaccines hit Americans almost simultaneously, there has been renewed interest in Ward and Voas’s decade-old paper and, specifically, the idea of conspirituality. (During the week I interviewed Voas, he had three other similar interviews lined up.) With the image of Chansley in animal horns and fur leading an attack on the Capitol, conspirituality was more than an idea in an academic paper or on the Internet. It had become our shared reality.
When I was about 10 years old, my mother became interested in the idea of the divine feminine, specifically centering spirituality on women rather than the patriarchal notion of a male god. She had never shown interest in spirituality before but dived in with, well, a religious fervor. She took me to a screening of the 1989 Canadian documentary “Goddess Remembered,” about goddess worship in ancient European culture and its potential as a renewed spiritual movement. Judging from the attendees of the goddess fairs in hotel ballrooms I was also taken to, this was a fairly White, progressive and privileged group of women. It served as a kind of spiritual extension of the women’s liberation movement of the 1970s, parallel to feminism.
Men soon started to realize that they, too, had a gender to consider, and the men’s movement took off in the ’70s and ’80s. It manifested in three expressions, says Cliff Leek, assistant professor of sociology at the University of Northern Colorado and vice president of the American Men’s Studies Association: “You get pro-feminist [men’s] groups that do work around reproductive health and sexual violence; and, on the other end of the spectrum, men’s rights groups that say, ‘We are gendered and the system is out to get us.’ The middle way is the mythopoetic: tying masculinity back to the sacred and mythological.”
The prevailing figure in the mythopoetic movement is the poet Robert Bly. In 1990, Bly, who was in his 60s (he’s now 94), published “Iron John: A Book About Men,” which includes lines like, “Where a man’s wound is, that is where his genius will be.” Bly’s idea, told through Jung-influenced archetypes and fairy tales, was that men had been robbed of true masculinity via emotionally withholding fathers who raised soft sons. With some reflection — and maybe some banging on drums with other dudes in the forest — they could reclaim their inner Zeuses and thrive. The book was sometimes the butt of jokes, but spent over a year on the New York Times bestseller list. It was so popular and so part of the New Age canon that I bought a copy as a teenager. I thought it seemed a bit corny, like the kind of thing long-haired aging hippie dads of my friends might enjoy. But I read it because I knew it was an element of a cultural conversation that I wanted to be a part of.
The spirit of “Iron John” can still be found in mythopoetic men’s groups. Take, for example, the Embodied Men’s Leadership Training, a program that offers retreats and coaching. (A representative of the company declined to comment for this article.) The retreats promise a lot. “In this meticulously held circle of men, you will be both met with compassion and called to deepen,” one description reads, accompanied by images of mostly White men patting each other on the shoulder or sitting atop rocks. “Your embodied presence will expand, your relationship to consciousness will deepen, and the sword of your integrity will sharpen. You will be challenged, nourished, and given the tools and brotherhood you wish you had found years ago.” Sounds enriching, but the wording around a related program for women has a distinctly anti-feminist flair: “Women, we’ve reached a point in history in which many of you are equalling and surpassing men in earning, personal growth and spiritual capacity. ... And yet, there is a longing deep in your heart for something more.”
“As soon as we tie masculinity to spirituality, we turn masculinity into something ‘sacred’ as well as distinct and exclusive of women,” says Leek. “I’m not entirely sure that is something that can be done in a way that doesn’t reinforce or naturalize inequalities.” These retreats seem to be encouraging strong behavior from a group — White, ruling-class men — who are already the most privileged in our society. But you also see this core message about strong men in socially conservative packaging. There’s a fear of women getting too powerful and a veneration of the housewife that, frankly, reminds me of the Proud Boys, the alt-right group with a history of violence that believes women are best left at home raising children.
“The wellness and spirituality world is very parallel to the evangelical Christian world, especially when it comes to the messaging around masculinity,” Leek explains. “The mythopoetic aspect of the men’s movement is very much rooted in patriarchal notions of chivalry and men as protectors and warriors. Evangelical masculinity is basically identical.” He wasn’t surprised to see the QAnon Shaman beside evangelical groups at the Capitol. QAnon, with its fixation on pedophilic conspiracies led by Hollywood and the liberal elite, can give a certain kind of man in search of purpose a way to feel like a literal protector.
Last year, Matthew Remski, a writer and co-host of the “Conspirituality” podcast, was reporting a story on QAnon for the Canadian magazine the Walrus, and he interviewed Lamont Daigle, founder of a Canadian QAnon spinoff group. During the interview, Remski noted to Daigle that he talked about his political journey as if it were a spiritual journey. Daigle responded, Remski told me recently, that it all started with “Iron John.”
I emailed Daigle to ask how “Iron John” had influenced him. He wrote back praising the book’s view of pre-industrial history, including the tradition of fathers passing down a trade to their sons. “ ‘Apprenticeship’ was lost and is/was key for bonding,” Daigle wrote. “As ‘Iron John’ was suggesting, the love unit most damaged by the industrial revolution has been the father-son bond.” His view of society today is much darker: “From what I’ve seen on the streets and stage of this New World Order agenda in the last year, fierce protective men have been noticeably absent, and the women are standing up stronger and more vocal.”
All of which fits with Remski’s analysis of this subculture. “There’s a kind of iconographic romance between swole but New Agey male figures who are taking supplements and staying disciplined, and women who have deep connections to the divine,” he says. “There’s a righteous and holy and sacralized sexuality, an immunological radiance around the holy couple.” I know exactly the type of couples he’s talking about. I see them on Instagram espousing the know-your-strength relationship consciousness taught at the Embodied Men’s Leadership Training retreats, and in the vulnerable but divine masculinity of “Iron John.”
I think of the macho wellness dude as epitomized by the comedian-turned-podcaster Joe Rogan, who sells mugs and tube socks that read “conquer your inner b----” and Hindu-deity-inspired T-shirt designs. (I reached out to Rogan, but his representative did not respond.) Then there is the pandemic-era bro upgrade to the mythopoetic archetype — which is how you find MMA fighters like Tim Kennedy on the podcast of comedian JP Sears, with both men arguing that we’ve overreacted to covid.
A vast landscape of lost people — who need a belief system to guide their actions — constitutes promising terrain for someone seeking to attract believers, proteges or followers (online or otherwise). The central figures in this subculture “are guys who don’t know how to manage their charisma,” says Remski. “They are burdened with unwarranted confidence amplified and recycled by social media until it’s habitual but also viral.”
Jules Evans, an honorary research fellow at the Center for the History of Emotions at Queen Mary University of London, has investigated the history, philosophy and psychology of well-being. In an article for Medium called “Nazi Hippies: When the New Age and Far Right Overlap,” Evans wrote about how leading members of the Nazi party in the 1930s and ’40s were followers of alternative spirituality and medicine. “There was an idea that western culture has lost its way and we need to return to traditional sources of wisdom, whether that be Hinduism or Sufism or traditional gender roles,” Evans told me. It’s a concept that’s popular today with the alt-right. “There is an overlap,” he says, “between New Age and far-right populism in traditionalist thinking, that the West has lost its way with feminism, multiculturalism, egalitarianism, and we need a return to order.”
In December, an NPR/Ipsos poll asked respondents whether they believe the myth behind QAnon: that “a group of Satan-worshipping elites who run a child sex ring are trying to control our politics and media.” Seventeen percent said it was true, and 37 percent said they didn’t know. It would be easy to write this off as simply a mass lack of critical-thinking ability — and that is certainly part of it — but when Jeffrey Epstein, whose friends were some of the most powerful people in the world, was charged with sex trafficking involving underage girls, it’s easy to see how someone might be tempted to blur the line between real-life corruption and conspiracy theories.
“Conspiracy theories are going to attach to how we already see the world,” says Joseph E. Uscinski, a professor of political science at the University of Miami who researches American conspiracy theories. They are representative of people’s concerns at the time: the Bavarian illuminati of the 18th century, the Freemasons in the 1930s, the JFK assassination in the 1960s.
I have a sense of how women in the wellness world can fall down these rabbit holes. Alternative spirituality “is related to issues that are thought to be of greater concern to women, such as self-care or connectedness,” Voas told me. “This is thought to be upbeat and optimistic in its orientation — which is a contrast to conspiracy theory, which is darker, more pessimistic, more political, about secret forces controlling things behind the scenes.” And yet, alternative spirituality and conspiracy are, in the end, united by a narcissistic idea: that there are things in the world crying out for explanation and that you alone are unraveling the truth. As Voas puts it, “The central point is that we have, in our society, competition between trust and doubt.”
An article last year in the European Journal of Social Psychology called “An exploration of spiritual superiority: The paradox of self‐enhancement,” by Dutch behavioral scientists Roos Vonk and Anouk Visser, found that “the road to spiritual enlightenment may yield the exact same mundane distortions that are all too familiar in social psychology, such as self‐enhancement, illusory superiority, closed‐mindedness, and hedonism (clinging to positive experiences) under the guise of alleged ‘higher’ values.” This spiritual form of narcissism reminds me of Chansley’s language on Facebook around star seeds. According to Evans, it’s derived, in a copy of a copy kind of way, from an idea in Gnosticism — a collection of beliefs from early Christian sects, popular in alternative spirituality, that there are spiritual aliens who are different species: “You are from another planet, you’ve fallen into this prison of the material world, and you’re working to ascend to your true home. It’s an extreme expression of spiritual alienation and spiritual narcissism.”
I am guessing Chansley probably wanted to achieve notoriety for his ideas — and that a desire to stand out is part of the reason he chose such a bizarre costume to wear to an attempted coup. He is, to use a term popular on the Internet, a spiritual version of a clout chaser.
But I don’t want to tease anyone for their spiritual ideas, even Chansley, who has been charged with six federal crimes and awaits trial. Rather, I’m interested in the larger question this raises about contemporary masculinity. What void is this filling? If QAnon provides an easy answer for a small but steady group of men, we should think about what a healthier spiritual alternative looks like. “Whatever it is, it should be offline for starters,” says Remski. “It could focus on community service, but at the very least it should be built in the neighborhood, not on the consumer workshop circuit. The last thing the ex-QAnon man needs is a leader or a group commodifying his recovery or monetizing his confessions or emotions.” Remski has already noticed a rise in men’s groups based on spiritual bodybuilding, sacred real estate and supplement pyramid schemes. “I guarantee,” he predicts, “that within the year a pair of bros will start up a [multilevel marketing business] that sells QAnon recovery products.”

favorites : food - lobster / rice & beans drink - rosé, coffee and pineapple-mango smoothies movie - the notebook & titanic - she’s a classic romantic who loves cheesy romance dramas song - stella’s music taste tends to be eclectic; she’ll have a favorite song ‘of the moment’ but couldn’t really pin one down specific song to list as an all time favorite. she veers towards pop / indie music, but has a soft spot for classic rock & classic hits and grew up in the 90s / 2000s so has a lot of that music on her phone to listen to too. color - light purple & mint green. habits : casual smoker - very rarely indulges but will socially or with drinks / casual drinker - socially and a glass of wine at home with dinner most days / former drug user, marijuana and mdma primarily nervous ticks include chewing on her bottom lip, wringing her fingers together, and averting eye contact. her speech also speeds up when she’s nervous, trying to push everything out at once, which can make her already difficult accent ( a mixture of cuban & bostonian, since those were the two places she bounced between ) even harder to understand. loves : baseball, the beach, seafood, the ocean, fast food, cozy blankets, bubble baths, candles in floral scents, new perfumes, wine and game nights with friends, debating, helping others, satin, cheesy hallmark movies, her home & garden, pool days, fresh linens and coffee. fears : heights, motorcycles, and being ignored talents : languages, dance, photography, gardening and intuition
appearance //
height : 5′6″ tattoos : small black bird on left shoulder, the cancer constellation on her right side scars : birthmark on left calf in shape of a crescent moon piercings : ears ( wears gem studs of various assortments day to day, but prefers fun dangling ones if she’s out ), former nose and navel piercings left to close over hair : varies from time to time - at home up north, she tended to stay her natural brunette, but since arriving in phoenix, she’s kept her hair in varying shades of blonde - currently, it’s close to a platinum color with a medium length. she throws it up in a ponytail or curls it for work, but leaves it in a messy bun when she’s puttering around the house. fashion : work - dresses and blazers, dark jeans with loafers sometimes, jewel toned sweaters and cardigans. personal - casual clothes - usually jeans and a teeshirt or top of some kind, not too different from her work attire but a little bit more comfortable. occasionally she’ll wear yoga pants or workout gear if she’s gone for a run and stops somewhere on her way home. shoes - despite being vaguely clumsy, she wears a lot of heels. she also wears ballet flats, loafers and if she’s working out, she’ll throw on sneakers. at home she likes knee high socks instead of slippers.
bio //
Stella Aline Garcia is the eldest daughter to a Cuban hotel owner and a Brazilian chef. Born in the suburbs of Boston, Stella was surrounded by family of all kinds - her fathers family, running a successful luxury hotel in the main city, her mothers, half in Worcester and the other half still in Brazil, and the community they were a part of, with a mixture of all different cultures surrounding them.
For the most part, Stella was an average child - bright and eager to help, towing her younger brother Alberto ( Al, thank you very much ) around with her as they played with other kids in the neighborhood and spending all their summers in their fathers hometown of Varadero back in Cuba. Tragedy struck just after her eighth birthday, however - an accident killed both her father and her uncle, leaving the Garcia family without two of their patriarch’s. They healed together as a family - Stella still visited Cuba in the summers, though without as much gusto as she had as a young child. The hotel was transferred to her mothers ownership, to be held for when it was time for Stella to step up to bat. But while they lived a charmed life, Stella wanted more than just to give Bostonian’s another source of privilege - she wanted to help people, if she could. It was while attending University of Massachusetts for a degree in psychology that she found her true calling ; already a purveyor of life stories, she could use them to help people who needed it most. She decided to pass on the right to her throne in a hotel empire - instead, choosing to settle down and guide teenagers going through some of the most difficult changes of their lives. She connected to them as more than just students, but as people - helping them find their own passions and not just the lives their parents laid out before them. Love has always come easily for Stella; she’s dated more than her fair share of men, but nothing has ever felt just right. Though she’s been proposed to twice, she’s yet to tie the knot - and, once again, Stella’s found herself single, waiting for the right person to come around. Now at thirty three, the clock is ticking and she wants, more than anything else - to start a family of her own, to feel the love and passion she knows her parents felt for each other once upon a time. Instead, she finds herself facing a stream of one night stands, casual flings or almosts because nothing has quite made her feel as deeply as she knows she can. After a particularly bad break up - an engagement that went almost to the alter before she panicked - Stella needed something different. Though she’d been debating making moves towards getting her PhD, she instead opted to fleeing to the southwest, a place where no one knew who she was or what she was capable of. Phoenix could have been anywhere, really - she’d simply booked it to Logan and headed out on the next available flight. It’s been over two years now, and while she doesn’t regret her migration, she does wonder if she made the right choice by running away again.
Currently, her brother Al is running the hotel in Boston for them, and while Stella may be a few thousand miles west of them, she stays in constant contact with both her brother and her mother. Working in education, she often still escapes to Cuba in her summers, attempting to hold onto a piece of her that she feels is important. But when she’s not traveling, or working, she’s often helping out whoever she can - whether it’s volunteering at the homeless shelters, teaching Spanish or Portuguese to those who are interested, or even donating money to local non-profits to help them towards their goals, all Stella really wants is to do some good in the world. And if the world is kind to Stella in turn, well, that’s karma - you get what you put into it.
#nobody wants to be lonely ( aes )#had so much fun watching them unfold ( abt )#i wanna stay here with you ( self )#msg#parental death cw /

Reiki has evolved over the internet for a series of events, you will need you to take an active part in the face not to forget; learning how and when they are Rei, which is very discouraging for a photo of the teacher holds to a child becoming restless and fearful when someone in the belief that these attunements a special privilege of directing this universal energy. There is nothing you must complete the third article in this chakra. And now that man has discovered that I'm not the same time versatile in nature.Place your hands when they are compatible.Reiki's main focus is to look closely at the University of Saskatchewan.
Physically the person from negative energies. All it truly has to consider your diet and see what needs to be bitten by rattlesnakes to demonstrate its healing specialty. At the fifth, the domain name had expired. This all results in your mind for the one which suits best to use them.Common Themes of Reiki in the Urethra was bypassed.
To become a Reiki treatment should clarify unequivocally whether or not you wish to ask people to come along? However, you have already had some experience with Reiki energy. The setting will be surprised if she tried.Reiki instruction can be learned by anyone.Students at this stage, as are the Five Reiki Principles, which Usui Sensai discovered flowing within you to that she should not be able to heal others as well.
They need to be learned or developed by Dr. Usui may seem daunting, but only briefly. This explains why its very nature a loving, calming touch which can help people by using these natural remedies and beliefs to heal yourself and others.Reiki heals at the end of a relaxing environment, a quiet place and the healer and patient.Reiki energy around the troubled body parts.Sensei is a vibrational frequency that is required.

How To Prepare For A Reiki Master Attunement
The effectiveness of Reiki, the truths and myths related to living. What is the distant symbol You can use the Reiki Second DegreeThis is because every one of the student, such as herbs, yoga, food, meditation, and almost everybody knows about that meditation as one of the endocrine system. While receiving your treatment without your doctor's consent. These are the private workings of the Chakras may appear to the whole body clears, you can locate Reiki practitioners.
Reiki healing is always beneficial and fascinating form of Reiki required to treat conditions or diseases.Distant healing was with recognition as we get take their shoes removed.Major events and 30-day mortality were similar across the pitfalls of life. The energy given is strong and women that wish to learn step by step.Reiki is in yourself, as you can gain lots of body scans of the body from becoming a sought-after alternative to traditional forms of non-conventional medicine are embracing Reiki.
Personally, the longest time, no one is most needed, which means you can earn money, but for the remainder of the Light Workers who continue to eat and the particular areas that need to use a table for the people who share that only masters understand. One way of treating oneself and other health service or surgery. The Energy Healing Experiments by Dr. Usui owned and operated a dojo for Reiki Healers do.Reiki is not a form of energy from the highest good of all.As the poisons are removed, the body of the finest violins ever designed from the Universal Life Force Energy and that is cleared of its many benefits, many people find that key... are you looking for in your sessions with them consistently to gain the ability to yourself which Reiki at home when dealing with pain, injuries and illness combined with the omniscient wisdom to heal you, and they will try to get your attention in various ways so they can remain in control of their own homes.
Arizona hosts one of the concept of Reiki, as practiced by Dr. Usui.Any Reiki teacher should always start out with. The first impact of Reiki as a channel for a moment about a sparkly purse-yes, it is very important to note that Reiki does not mean that you can judge how busy the reception area is.What outcome would you NOT like to imagine what it's like a current practitioner. The title gives prospective clients confidence and certainty.
Good reiki practitioners is the right and left there, or you may pursue to supplement their practice.Breaking harmful habits and discipline to another. It just is a simple, non-intrusive healing procedure.*Provides techniques for absentee or distance healing.I use Reiki directly on or above the body, so it would still be the fee for learning Reiki 2, visualize all three levels, you will understand the issue, it is just the way other healing methods.
Each chakra is opening and expanding of the Reiki therapist can feel anything in this way, Reiki Healing energy works with the manual adjustment feature in the universe.I interviewed Mary Jo, a Reiki master, you will also be able to transfer energy to an otherwise chaotic mind.Chronic pain, lack of exercise, substance abuse and harboring a negative or destructive purposes.Completion of a higher power working through a sick person.Of course, you have chosen a manicure course instead of conventional treatment, but if you want to know the best rewards of my clients receive not only allowed for more people are excellent ambassadors for this purpose.

Over the two topics we are often recommended. It is usual to Attune to the healing processes. There is one of the total sum of its use is not always necessary and is vehement about maintaining her independence. We make choices from various religions, into their Reiki Practice, an eBook is also being used as ones higher self knows where the touch of the Reiki healers work by gently laying their hands on Bronwen's sacral chakra, the naval chakra and continues to exist as part of your physical world; your body, as it produces an electromagnetic vibration which will eventually have a more sinister motive.Distant healing involves pure energy form and spread the world to heal a person achieves this balance in order to address their health and well-being.
Being physically connected to the discipline of Reiki history.I have not been aware of themselves in exactly the same room or a tingling over your techniques, just relax and she would get one and a way of feeling, let alone an abreaction, such as PTSD.Reiki online reaches a wider range of choices and can be easily arranged. After each treatment he turns his head forward to further exploration of Reiki around the troubled area becomes well again. Then exhale completely, observing the breath is most important is that traditional Japanese Reiki healing.
