Was fucking around on the internet, found this group chat creator, decided to roll with it. This conversation was one I'd played around with some time ago.
I don't think I've revealed it before, but yes, their group would be called The Dásos Society! This is probably not how the conversation would go in story, hopefully getting to this point BEFORE Shinju, though not a guarantee. With each new character they would try a different name, but I think Masahiko would probably broach the idea of a society as soon as he was asked for an opinion.

So, I've been thinking about the plain black masks I gave the team. I think I should probably think about getting different options for them. Thought I'd source out to what you guys think. I'd probably give each character just a few designs, two or three more for the main team. I'll get to side characters after a time.
But for now, let's start with our MCs! Don't know who I'm talking about? Well, follow the links and take a look, then come on back. I'll keep it simple for options, and probably keep them having identical masks, but tell me specifics if you'd like!

Could you give more depth to the social links, most of them only Focus on Their disease
Well, for most, I don't have a solid idea. But I can give an idea for what's going on for the main cast, and a couple others. And I'll focus on just their links with the MC (if you'll reference the post the other day about everyone having links with others as well), because I haven't actually come up with ideas for those sorts of links yet.
Sayaka and Yudai aren't hard set yet. For Sayaka it's because any big, character defining moments would happen near the end of the story, in association to her dungeon. I imagine for her, it would be very vague allusions to how she felt going through so many foster families. Yudai's will prooooobably focus on teaching the MC to cook, helping out at his family's diner, how he's different from the expectation of him. (In the way that the natural perception of big people is that they're lazy, uncool, etc.)
Miyako's I have a little clearer picture of. The first rank is story unlocked right after her dungeon, and you find out about her older brother committing suicide six years earlier due to his own mental issues. Throughout the links, one of Miyako's aunts comes to Kamida to try to convince her to move to the city to be with her distant family. Miyako debates on it, until she finds out why her parents never had contact with their extended family. They're terrible people, basically, and didn't want their children to grow up around that. So she stays in Kamida.
Masahiko is another one that I'm not totally sure of the entire thing yet. I think I'd like it to explore his relationship with his dad, and the comparison there. Masahiko is a narcissist, but it was something encouraged when he was younger and now, after his dungeon, he's actively seeking help. His father on the other hand does the whole "I'm in the right, everyone is wrong, everything has to go my way or no way at all) gaslighting thing. Masahiko was on the receiving end of that in his childhood now, and despite his 'holier-than-thou" attitude towards most everyone else, he's very... timid isn't the right word, but it's close enough, when next to his father. Though, now taking a second look on various social links in the different Persona games, that might just be subtext through various social links.
Hoshiko's is going to have her dealing with her bullies. Getting manipulated into doing others' homework, taking over their cleaning duties, giving them money, free items from her father's store. By the end of it, Hoshiko stands up for herself.
For Jun, I'm thinking he goes to the MC, asking them to come over to his house and lie to his siblings for him. He's trying to make his older brother worry less about him. He keeps his princely persona up even at home, to avoid his brother worrying about him. Until his latest stint that got him suspended, his brother had been under the assumption that Jun was a well behaved, straight A student. He wants you to back up his story about that. Throughout it you find out the fight that actually got him suspended from school was started because some jerks were harassing a mama bird and her eggs, throwing bricks at them and shit, and managing to break a couple before Jun stopped them. While his reaction was totally out of line, seeing that had triggered his explosive episode. (Jun was very protective of these birds. I haven't come up with the reason for that yet) Anyway, by the end of his link with the MC, he comes clean to his brothers on what really transpired and what goes on during school. To which both brothers are like "Yeah, we already knew, you knucklehead." Jun's apologies to the people he needs to apologize to will happen in their own separate links. Which I will get to in just a minute.
In Shinju's link, the MC starts out tasked to help her with general, everyday things. Getting up to the classroom on the third floor, getting through the admittedly cramped house they live in, going grocery shopping. But while Shinju does admit to certain things she's scared of (being caught on the third floor of the school if it catches on fire, being her biggest fear), she's not invalid. There's plenty she can do on her own and doesn't need help for, no matter what other people say. This one isn't about Shinju learning anything about herself, it's just proving to everyone else what she already knows. This one I've mentioned is story locked, ranking up on certain days after you've completed certain events. And right near the end of it is her dungeon, in which she is rewarded with a more practical wheelchair, specifically made for her, making it even easier to get around and do things on her own. During one of the ranks, the MC moves some of the kitchen things around so Shinju can reach them better, but that's all I've got on specificies. (If you haven't been ranking up with Yudai at all and getting his cooking lessons, she'll tease you for being a better cook than you.)
Avis/Baby Avis are functionally two different characters... except for this. They'll both take the MC to explore the Endless Forest, explaining Shadows and Corruptions and trying to find the source of the MC's unique healing ability. One of the paths they take will lead to seeing the other MC in passing, though no direct conversation. (Depending on when you play through that link, a new player might not yet know the MC used to have a twin and the other one is dead) Nearing the end, like at the 7th rank, you'll also meet a girl who's a few decades from the past. She isn't a Persona user, but found she has a similar ability to the MC's. She's also been looking for the answer, and swears to meet the two of you again once she find it. However, she isn't there in rank 8, nor in rank 9. Rank 9 all you'll find is a note nailed to a tree, signed with the letter M. There's not much to learn about Avis herself. She's a phoenix. She was born and reborn in the Endless Forest. She's a guide for Persona users like the MC, those specially chosen. But she is one and only and cannot be everywhere at once, hence the reason she's only appeared in front of this MC.
I don't really have a clear cut thing for... really any of the side characters with the MC, but as I was writing these down, ideas for some side social links came to me, so I'll those here.
Hoshiko/Jun: After their unfortunate fallout in middle school, they've struggled to reconnect, especially after Jun's poor attitude after Hoshiko rejects him. Jun starts out with an apology. Several times. Because Hoshiko is too scared of him at first to believe him. Then there's the eventual awkward rekindling. Then an event that sparks Hoshiko's hidden nagging/sarcastic streak, and something from Jun's side too but it's late and I don't know. After that, they're back to being good friends.
Shinju/Jun: Shinju is one of the few people Jun has never been a dick to. He routinely is the one to carry her to her classroom at the beginning of the day. Despite the fact they don't act much like friends until Jun joins the team, he's not a dick. Which is to say, their social link doesn't start off with him apologizing. And when I say "never been a dick" I mean "never before this social link" because he does call Shinju out for "acting weak and helpless when that's bullshit" in a not so nice way. Theirs is a lot of... back and forth, nothing really deep. Some hangouts between rekindled friends. (I think this one would be locked until Hoshiko does accept his apology and forgives him, because despite having never done anything to Shinju, Hoshiko is her best friend)
Miyako/Jun: Miyako wants Jun to help her study, because he's consistently the first in class grade wise. Jun says he's never studied a day in his life, so he's no help. Miyako finds out this is true after a failed study session, in which Jun ends up failing their next quiz because of, proving it did the opposite effect. Miyako ends up having to teach Jun how to study and apply himself, while Jun is doing his own teaching of "it's really not that deep"
Jun/Masahiko: Assholes being assholes to each other. Jun tries to out-asshole Masahiko with his princely person, but Masahiko is actually that elegant and eloquent, so ends up failing. So they end up going to head to head with their own unique brand of assholery. Masahiko finds a new appreciation for Jun's true self (and perhaps a little crush) if cards are played right, as Jun does go and chew out Masahiko's dad for the way he treats Masahiko. (This would probably be the only time something like that happens, as in Masahiko's link with the MC, Masahiko would confront his dad himself)
And... yeah. That's all I've go floating around right now. They need refined, some need thought off. If you think of these in forms of drafts, this is Draft 0. General, mostly nonsensical ideas. I hope that was somewhat satisfactory.

Revisiting Social Links
"Art imitates art." YES. Irrefutable fact. Very few things these days are fully one's own creation. That being said, let's restructure a previous idea I had. With some context.
Lately, I recently bought a switch, and with it, Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It's a lovely game, I love the music, story, characters designs (could have done without the bits that reminded me too much of religious trauma and could have much more gay, but one step at a time). But what I especially loved was that the characters got to have relationships with each other outside of the main character or off screen scenes.
I would like it to be the same for Genesis. I wouldn't go as far as having full social links for every character, especially since some of them already have history with each other so relationships don't need established. But I'd like to give them each at least five ranks.
I hear in earlier Fire Emblem games, relationships between characters could be made and have an impact on story. The one who's wiki I looked into even had children appearing in game (I do not remember which game this was). Of course, Genesis doesn't take place over a period long enough for that to happen, but that's besides the point.
The point is: If I did go down this route, with the confidants also having social links with each other, where they are in your social link will influence the ones they have with others. And in turn, where they are in that social link will influence the main story. In subtle ways. For example, not doing a Masahiko/Miyako social link would have them at odds for the entirety of the story, but going all the way through it, they'd still make snide remarks at each other, but it would be more teasing and fond than otherwise.
Speaking of the end, some characters will have the opportunity to confess to other social links. Considering that everyone in the main team gets close to each other, anyone could reasonably end up with everyone. But some of the characters could end up with other social links instead. Using Miyako again, she could possibly end up with Natsuki or Yota. Instead of doing the Fire Emblem thing of "first come first serve" or "whoever has the highest rank", let me give you an example of what I'd do, because I think that'll get the point across best.
Let's say you go through Hoshiko and Shinju's confidant link. At the end Hoshiko confesses. Instead of an immediate answer, Shinju would ask for some time to think about it. Depending on when the rank was done (day or night), Shinju would either ask you later that day or the next what she should do. Depending on your answer of accept or don't accept, Shinju would respond to Hoshiko accordingly, and their final rank would change. with them becoming girlfriends or staying friends. And that would happen for all characters, unless one is already dating, in which case, the confession scene wouldn't happen at all, so there's no need for the question to be asked.
But I supposed this also begs the question of: how does the harem fit into all this? And, shocker, it doesn't. I was never fond of the harem idea anyway? Like, it kinda weirded me out. And the idea I had never really fit into the Persona style anyway, in my opinion, so, no harems. Poly is still possible, though. Once you get into a relationship, you're in that relationship, so you have to think carefully about that first. But you can join a couple who have already gotten together.
Realistically, I don't know how feasible this is, but I did like the idea of this. Of the characters growing closer to each other without outside influence… for the most part. You still get a degree of control in who dates who. Though it might come across as annoying for your team to consistently come asking you for relationship advice, think about the fact lots of characters don't come until later in the story. Sayaka and Yudai are the first two team members you meet. If a relationship just happens without your input, either you end up dating one of them or they'll probably end up with each other before you can get either of them ranked up with anyone else.
And before anyone disagrees with this idea, it would also give more screen time to characters who don't get a lot in the beginning because they come later. Imagine if they'd had this system in Persona 5 and Haru would have been able to be explore more thoroughly. Or Akechi or Futaba or Sojiro. Pick your poison, really.
But anyway, that's all for this rant, thanks for humoring me.

Script Teaser
So I’ve mentioned several times how I’m WORKING on the script, but I don’t really have a lot to show for it, ya know? So I thought I could share little teasers of what I’ve got, just to prove that I’ve got ‘em. I’ve also got a bit of an announcement at the bottom, if you wanna look out for that.
Opening scene
You’ll notice throughout this that everything that pertains to the male MC is bolded. This is guide home that this is really written with a female MC in mind, and the male is the extra.
Day 1
As of this moment, you wouldn’t have been able to choose your name yet, hence the Girl/Boy usage. I might eventually do some minor rewrites to change this.
Day 2
We have a moment between your father and Tomomi. I kinda really like both of these characters.
Day 3
Day 4
Day 5
Day 6
Day 7
That’s all I’ve got for ya for teasers, but now onto my announcement!
******************************************************************************************
I’m looking for help. That’s... yeah, that’s basically about it. That about sums it up. I went into this being like “Oh, it shouldn’t be too hard, right? Get the characters, write the script. We’ll just skim over battles and focus on story, make it a VN! It’ll be easy!” Guess what it’s not?
Okay, joke aside, there seem to be several people who are interested in this, and if it got any further, I’m sure the interest would grow. Hence, I don’t want to leave people disappointed. This decision to ask for help is influenced by two major things, both of which I had been pretty excited for at one point.
The first is a certain game about a yandere we will not go into further detail about, but it fueled my desire to actually want to finish this... and not take ten years to get the first part out. That would be lame.
The other is, very specifically, a post I saw from someone who had complaints about the Yosuke romance mod for Persona 4 Golden. It talked about how the modder wasn’t listening to people, and how it felt wrong to have a straight person writing a gay romance.
This got me to thinking about the different characters I have, and their mental illnesses. The only one I would feel completely okay with writing would be Miyako, who is ace and has depression, both of which I can understand. I can also understand insomnia, anxiety, obesity, and inferiority, having experienced all of those at one point in my life or another. But things ADHD, DID, anger issues, bulimia, physical disabilities... I have no clue, and I want people who have experienced those to have the best representation, so I think someone who does have those would be the best choice to write those characters.
Things I would still be doing if I got help in this matter:
- Writing, of course. I have some outlines for social links, and I would prefer that they were stuck to, but with communication, things could be changed around. An emphasis on communication so things don’t contradict.
- Getting art. I think like, actual emotions from each character is out of the question at the moment (will be gotten to eventually), but I want to get a basic lineup like I’ve done for previous characters for all the social links. Backgrounds would probably come next after that.
- After a while, I want to find a music composer to write songs for this. The ones I really want are the opening, ending, and themes for the two MCs.
Things I have no idea how to do:
- Actually make a visual novel. I’m going to play around and keep people updated, but if I can’t figure it out... I may just end up finding someone to do the technical stuff for me.
- ...Actually work with a team to do this. If you do want to help me, know that I have no idea what I’m doing. Whenever I was given the option of working in a group project or working alone, I usually worked alone. So, uh, yeah.
Anyways, thank you for reading this far into my rambling, so thanks a bunch. Until next time!

I was making a list of characters of this version of Persona 6. I was looking in the introduction paragraph of “Entering the game” with the character’s name and confidant. I also looked at their profile. I noticed that Jun doesn’t have a persona name. I tried to look at his bio but it doesn’t say what his persona is.
Can you tell me what’s Jun’s persona is? I hope I’m not missing anything.
Here’s a list I’ve made for the characters (it’s only their Persona, Skills and weapons)
MC (Hikaru Iyashi)/FeMC (Hikari Iyashi)
Transferred students, 3rd year
Persona: Achelois or Persephone
Skill: Healing
Melee: Mace
Ranged: Bow/crossbow
Sayaka Ito
Also a transferred student, 3rd year
Skills: Ice and physical
Persona: Atlanta
Melee: Axe
Ranged: Dual wield pistols
Shinju Kawaguci
Mc’s little sister but is disabled, 1st year
Persona: Hephaestus
Skills: Fire, buff
Melee: Her chair
Ranged: Cannon
Masahiko Oshiro
A Rich, transferred student due to his father not liking his greedy and arrogance behavior, 2nd year
Persona: Pluto (Roman god of the underworld and wealth)
Skills: Navigation
(Idk if he should have a weapon since he’s the navigator)
Miyako Fujimori
A student having trouble coping with depression and having suicidal thoughts, 2nd year
Persona: Osias
Skills: Curse, ailment
Melee: Sais
Ranged: Throwing knives
Jun Sanada
Dude who gets violent when someone rejects him (let’s just say that he was introduced as an asshole with anger issue.), 2nd year
Melee: Chain
Ranged: Slingshot
Yūdai Shinoda
He’s an overweight student who eats a lot, but he’s trying to get healthy, 3rd year
Persona: Hidaru-gami
Skills: Nuclear and debuff
Melee: Kopis
Ranged: Blowdart
Hoshiko Akiyama
She’s a red hair girl who suffers from (extreme) social anxiety, she uses her kindness but she become hateful to most people, 1st year
Persona: Cerberus
Skills: Physics
Melee: Dagger
Ranged: Sniper Rifle
It all looks pretty good given the information previous provided. Some of the information will be changed a little once I get to the full profiles and artwork for certain character, but it’s looking good right now.
Jun’s Persona is Lytta, spelled as Lyssa in Entering the Game, though I’ll be using Lytta from now on. She is the Greek goddess of rage and rabies. He uses electric and almighty spells.

Outfits and Menu
Master Post
Was messing around and tried to make my vision of a start-up menu for Persona 6. The characters I used are only stand ins until I can get all my character art bought.
And now, I have made some more outfits for the main characters! I also have some for the rest of the confidants, but I’m going to wait to put all of those on a separate post.
Hikari & Hikaru Iyashi Theater Costumes
Both Hikari and Hikaru play Puck, the mischievous fairy. Not all potions would be included.
This was a really hard to find the names of characters, but they both play the main character, who comes to terms with inevitability and death through a dream.
I thought about having them play two separate character, but decided it would be better if they only played the one, so they play Thantos, the Greek God of Death.
This one is a little impossible for me to have them play the same character, so I decided to not. Hikari plays Jo while Hikaru plays Laurie.
I admit to knowing little of the game, so I designed them both to side characters.
Aoi no Ue, if you don’t know, is a play about harem infighting. I had little problem with making Hikaru the husband and Hikari one of the wives seeing as neither can exist in the same timeline.
At the moment, the plot of The Changeling escapes me, and there is no easy way to explain it. Both Hikari and Hikaru have side parts.
The entire reason I have a maid uniform for Hikaru is because Madame de Sade is completely made up of female characters and I couldn’t decide if I wanted him to cross-dress or not.
Hikari Iyashi
Are the Christmas outfits and excuse to give them pretty outfits? Absolutely.
Hikaru Iyachi
That... is a hair band. I love anime men with their hair pulled out of their face with them. I am WEAK to it.
Sayaka Ito
Sayaka is one of the few characters that would willingly wear a bikini... however, due to laws in Japan, she can’t show off her tattoo at pools or beaches, so it’s simpler to just own the one piece that covers it up.
While most often girly and dorky, Sayaka has been called tomboyish and told she looks like a boy. So I gave her the male yukata to wear and be like “Yeah, and I pull off the look better than any male.”
As stated before, she works at the music store. They don’t have a super strict dress code, so she only needs to change out her shirt after school.
Sayaka lives with her foster parents in a temple. They are a priest and priestess, and she occasionally helps out to repay them.
Yudai Shinoda
Since his parents own Eatable, he helps out there sometimes.
Miyako Fujimori
The sweater thing is supposed to be patterned like that towel, and it’s sheer. I had to add it because canonically, there is only one outfit Miyako has short sleeves in, and this isn’t it. Also, fun fact, this is the only time Miyako has an umbrella. She enjoys the rain, so walked around in it without an umbrella. However, she does not like the sun because she burns easily.
This outfit, along with the swimsuit, were the hardest ones to find clothes for, mostly because I forgot about her “only wears short sleeves in one outfit” thing. I had to completely redo this outfit to compensate.
Masahio Oshiro
Hoshiko Akiyama
I had a very hard time finding a good dress for Hoshiko, as she has the red hair and very little goes with it. The pink would probably clash, the white is more part of Hikari/Hikaru’s theme, and the dark blue is more Miyako’s.
Jun Sanada
I’m aware I messed up. This is his swimsuit. That is a headband.
He’s... not the kind of character to go all out, but he’s not gonna just stand out when everyone else dressed up, either.
Messed up here too. This is his Christmas outfit. Though he regularly dresses like trash, Jun actually has a pretty good sense of style and cleans up nice.
Shinju Kawaguchi
The green thing is a towel that will be thrown over the back of Shinju’s chair. The black swimsuit will have the same blue/pink coloring as the other one, though possibly not quite so bright.
Instead of her regular bow, this thing one will take its place.
I simply couldn’t decide on which color I liked best for Shinju, though the blue will probably work best for her theme.
Ah, as a treat, I’ll let you know now. I’m currently working on a sneak peek video using the love confessions audio that I’ll upload to my YouTube channel and share the link here. I hope you’ll enjoy!
