Makoto Sakamoto,  Empress

Makoto, as a kid, loved helping her mother out. She was very smart for her age, despite being a little grumpy kid who threw a tantrum here and there. She was always helpful to her mom, never complained. She knew her dad was bad, the moment he began hitting her mom, she called the police.

A natural born leader was something she used to be, people always wanting to hang out with her. She had a huge group of friends back then. The thing she was most proudest of was her hair.

Her hair was always so long, so smooth, so soft...everyone loved it. Makoto loved braiding her hair or putting it in new hair styles for her mom.

Her and her mother lived in a house, not in a apartment. Sure, money was tight at times, but because of her good grades she was able to make it up to high school with a free tuition at fancy private schools. Makoto was so thankful for this, she never wanted to be a burden to her mother. Never.

Other than studying or doing homework on her free time, she learn aikido, seeing as a lot of people thought she’d do amazing at it. Which was true! She even met a guy named Akira Niijima, who she’d like to say was her rival. They were both on a equal level, their matches always ending in draws.  

Going to Syujin was...interesting. Makoto’s first year was pretty awesome. She was popular and even managed to become student council president! It was only in till the middle of the year before her life changed. The new gym teacher. He gave off the same vibe her father did, but so much worse.

Makoto usually avoided him, bothered by him staring at her for more than a few minutes. He always stares when she was around, even touched her shoulder once, which scared her senseless. He always asked if she wanted to join a sports team, which she denied multiple times, using her aikido classes as her escape. She knew he wanted to get her alone after a few weeks.

So Makoto did what she needed to do to avoid him, filling up her schedule to the brim to avoid him. This meant that during school hours, she had less and less time to hang out with her friends. She became distant, only focusing on her work simply to avoid the gym teacher. Whenever she saw sport team students come towards her, she simply ran.

Though, this wouldn’t last for long.

She was too slow one day.

Makoto offered to help some students with studying in the library, after she finished she prepared to bolt out but was stopped by the man himself. Kamoshida. He had a tight grin on his face as he gripped her shoulder.

“Hey! Mako-chan!-”

She didn’t like him calling her that at all.

“I need to talk to you about something, school stuff. Right now. In my office.”

Makoto didn’t want to go with him. But she didn’t have a choice. She resisted the urge to glare and nodded with a fake smile.

“Of course,”

Makoto shouldn’t have gone with him. She shouldn’t have. She should have ran. Make up an excuse. Lie. Anything than going with the man. She thought she could defend herself.

“Quiet!!”

The man hissed as Makoto began yelling and screaming, punching him as she tried to run out. He was grabbing her breast and stroking her hair so much it disgusted her, she wanted to puke. But she tripped, slamming onto the floor with a loud smack. Makoto winced in pain, trying to get up quickly, but she was too late. He grabbed her ankle and leg too tight.

“AAAAAAAAAAA-”

Snap!

Makoto screeched so loudly, practically the whole school heard it. She began sobbing, grabbing her leg in pain. Her ankle and leg were broken.

Waking up in the hospital bed scared Makoto, but she was sure that the man was going to be put behind bars.

That didn’t happen.

Every sports team lied, saying Makoto attacked him first. And he was only defending himself.

No matter how many times Makoto sobbed and tried to explain that he tried to rape her, no one believe her. No one but her mother.

Makoto lost everything. Her respect. Her friends. Her scholarships. Her student council role. Her justice.

She was able to leave the hospital after a week. Makoto was in crutches. The moment she arrived home, she rushed to the bathroom with a dead look in her eyes. She stared at herself, disgusted. He touched her.

He touched her.

Makoto looked at her pride and joy, already beginning to cry. But with a stern glare and frown, she grabbed her scissors and grabbed the thing that made her proud.

“If you loved my joy so much…! Hic ILL JUST TAKE IT FROM YOU!!!”

She swiftly cut it off.

Her long hair fell onto the ground, her hair now went to her chin.

And she was happy.

Onward, Makoto began to act how people saw her.

A scary, cruel, delinquent.

She wore tons of black eye-shadow and a bit of black lipstick, she painted her nails black to complete the look. She transformed the Syujin uniform to her style. No one stopped her. They were too scared.

Kamoshida looked furious when seeing her hair, and that made her smile for the first time in months. It was a wicked smile.

Meeting Haru at first, she just scoffed and walked past the fluffy girl. Too...girly and perfect from the looks of it. Joining the phantom thieves though..

It made her alive.  

//Sorry this one took so long!! It took me a while to decide who has which role because I honestly couldn’t decide. But now I have a general idea for this au! Makoto is basically a edgy emo teen who is adorable :D I also developed a new writing style for this au so character description’s are gonna be lengthy sometimes.

Merry Christmas with the p5 rolechange au cast!

It’s kinda weird because one, krita ruined the quality and proceeded to mess up a lot of things Two, I didn’t get to add lighting or shading cuz krita once again ;--; I’d like some suggestions for a better art program cause Krita is killing me!! :D

Rolechange AU! Persona 5 ;)

So im working on AU for Persona 5 where basically every phantom thieves roles gets changed. Including Akechi. (Btw there will be a lot of spoilers for the whole game) An example is ; Makoto is in Morgana's place. She's a raccon who has some pretty decent physical attacks and some fire attacks, representing her firm aggressive attitude. Thief Name : Mako. Though she's still a wip.

The Protagonist/ Akira's role : Haru

Yes! Haru is the protagonist because, umm hello? She's an underrated character! I don't really like her cause I don't know much about her other than she needs help ;--;. And it suits her to take Makoto in! Makoto has a soft spot for Haru tbh.

Morgana's Role: Makoto

I feel like Makoto will be more aggressive than Morgana when it comes to focusing on a task and will be more calmer at the same time. Due to her being a raccoon, no one fucks with her. And it shouldn't be a thought either. You just don't fuck around with her. Period.

Ryuji's Role : Morgana

Tbh I didn't know what other role to give Morgana ^^" . Morgana it obviously more nicer to ladies then men, always trying to be a gentlemen. Morgana knows at the time no one appreciates his kindness, he still acts kind. Im pretty sure he's more determined than Ryuji, not wanting to give up. He doesn't want to pressure his mother so he works as hard as he can to make life easier. But at one point, he just gives up and begins to steal little things. Never getting caught. He at least still has manners. Not when he gawks over ladies tho. When seeing Haru allow Akechi into Kamoshida's car, he scolds her but apologises after since she hadn't known about Kamoshida.

Ann's Role: Akechi

He's a god damn prince how could I not make him a model?! And yes, he gets sexually harassed by Kamoshida, swallowing his pride for Shiho. He knows how Syujin Academy works, no one would listen to his cries for help. He often fakes his smiles during school hours, always wanting to leave the hellish place. When he models, his smile is more real. He appreciates his fans despite how creepy they are...

Yusukes Role: Ryuji

A street artist! Spray cans. He's often blunt about his opinon, if he hates something. He says it. He knows Madarame is abusing him, yet he ignores it. He doesn't want to lose his only family. So time to time he will change his art style. He swears more when he's angry.

Makoto's Role: Akira

Akira is very quiet and calm, never loses his cool. When the principal brings up his sister Sae, he looks like he could kill the bald man multiple times with not mercy. His eyes tend to scare people off, but if he were to talk to friends, he'd tease them about their grades and joke around. And maybe flirt with Akechi.

Funfact: When stalking the group, he looks more calmer and less suspicious. But is reading one of Goro's magazines 👌

He gets very cocky whenever he has the upperhand of the situation like when blackmailing the phantom thieves, he is smug x 10000 when playing the audio recording of Morgana and Ryuji yell at each other.

Futaba's Role : Ann

Now, I've been working on Ann for a month. So she is more closer to being finished. Ann was a very needy child who always wanted attention. Might've been a brat when she didn't get what she wanted. But deeply loves her mom. When accused of her mothers death, shes way more emotional than Futaba. Nightmares, Hallucinations, and fears developed. She becane more squeamish and nervous, always feeling unwanted due to her appearance and about what happened to her mom. People looked at her with either disgust or bad intent. She shut the world out, locking herself in her room. Enjoying childish magical girl shows and playing games. She feels like she was creating a dangerous potion when gathering info to expose people online for their crimes. Going by the name 'Cresent Star.' Her palace is a witches hut that is a tower, they have to save Ann before she is burned on the stake, Ann's mom is a priestess, using mostly bless attacks and gun skills. Her persona is Grimore, which is a UFO thats neon pink with Sliver outlining. Her outfit is a black tight suit with black boots, and a pink hologram mask along with a witch hat that has a pink ribbon on it.

Haru's Role: Yusuke

Not alot of ideas yet, bweeeh

And finally.....

Goro Akechi's Role: Futaba

Yes! Futaba is indeed the detective princess of this story! She has black hair, since she never really has time to dye it. Futaba craves being accepted and having affection, yet constantly denies it. She is always tired, basically living off coffee and energy drinks. Deep inside she's still a child. She always acts like a happy idol. Always sounding like nothing can go wrong. She hates Shido to the bitter core of her heart. Wanting to see him die, yet she is a doll to him.

And that's all I have so far! I'd love advice or some ideas for this AU!
