A lot of ghost media pushes the ghost Moving On which makes sense in that ghosts are often symbols of unresolved trauma/unfinished business, or a breach in the ostensible "natural" order of things, but thematic resonance aside I personally don't see any moral imperative to them getting out of here if they're not actively hurting anyone. That being said being trapped at 16 is kind of a nightmare so I don't blame Wes for contemplating skipping the metaphysical town after being confronted with Perpetual Teenagerdom. Poor guy's lucky his voice isn't perma-cracking.
