No, we don't!

The accent of someone from Artigas or Rocha is different from that of someone from Durazno or Montevideo and such differences are pretty obvious to anyone that pays attention to it:

For example, the moment I step outside my departamento, i immediately get asked what country am I from, despite the fact that I was born and raised in UY, and have never lived anywhere else

This is because my accent -and the expressions and words i use- are quite different to the one used in other departments -especially to those used in the capital- to the point people don't even recognize me as another Uruguayan. Whenever I let people start guessing where they think I am from, based on my accent/expressions, I get either "central America", or "somewhere in Spain but have been living in UY for several years now"

So, nah, we don't have the same accent or speak the same variation of the rioplatense Spanish dialect ni en pedo

Uruguay has this problem where, even tho we have an actual diversity, it gets reduced and ignored in favor to Montevideo's middle class and above life experience. So whenever you see stuff like "Uruguay's Spanish", "Uruguay's accent" or alike, 99.99% of the time it just means "Montevideo middle class and upper's X"
