Not sure if this is quite relevant but in the UK we have this test called the '11+' which was basically this extra exam given to 11-year-olds to determine whether or not they could go to grammar school.

My school never did it and it has become considerably less popular in recent years but in short it was bullshit. It was based off half-hearted research and discriminated against the lower class in the fact that you'd literally have to train for it. Those who didn't have the resources just wouldn't get in, especially since 11-year-olds are already at various stages of development anyway.

It is an intelligence test based off class and privilege and mainly just luck. It should never have been held in as high regard as it was.

I can't keep having the same conversations about love languages, mbti, iq, bmi, "brain fully formed at 25" and shit over and over again...
