I off-handedly mentioned Leo Tsukinaga could be my brother (even though i have dark hair, dark eyes, and tan skin in the summer (perks of being white hispanic)) bc my half-brother is ginger and my little brother has green eyes and then I wanted to figure out what other characters could theoretically be my siblings!! (Based on genetics and what my siblings look like, not who looks most like me. I've got 5 siblings so a bit of diversity)
Also, everyone assumes I'm Asian so that won't be an issue
Ofc, Leo, but also Chiaki, Tetora, and Midori could pass. Midori reminds me a lot of my younger brother (except my younger brother has darker hair). I'll take some liberties with hair colors and say Jun could as well. I always subconsciously thought he could. Also, he kinda reminds me of my brothers in attitude LSKJD
Mika ofc (not because I'm biased or anything, totally hahahaa) no, but, fr. My family has a history of horrid cowlicks so Mika fits in great SLKDJ. No history of heterochromia (as far as I know; the grandparents have a history of infidelity)
I imagine Koga looks like my friend (who might as well be my little brother even though he's older than me) so we'll add him to the list. Also my friend doesn't look like me, but we could be half-siblings or something LSKDJ
Mitsuru and Tomoya are some of the most believable. My brothers had light hair that turned darker over time and my mom has light hair (i think she was blonde before she was older, but idk)
I could be delusional, but I think Arashi could be my sister. Especially if she bleaches her hair (I'm pretty sure she does since I've seen the difference, but I'm too lazy to read about her rn to double check)
I think Madara could make a believable brother as well.
Out of enstars, I think Tomoya, Mika, Jun, or Midori could be convincing brothers (Mika doesn't normally have glasses, but everyone in my family wears glasses so he needs them too)
Tumblr media
Now, in TWST, Ace fs. I saw someone mention a Hispanic Ace hc and I just ran with it (Idk why people hc that, but I support it)
Probably Ruggie as well, but I don't have cat ears irl so :( (i also kinda hc he's Hispanic)
That's kinda it from twst (I probably should've chosen an Ace card that shows his face more but look at the little guy!! He's partying!!!)
Tumblr media
misc characters would be Light Yagami (since i just finished death note today) and I forgot most of the shows/games i've consumed smh

𝘋𝘰𝘩𝘸𝘢 𝘉𝘢𝘦𝘬 𝘹 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦r
Blending into the background is an art form I’ve perfected. While some people seem to thrive on drama, I’ve learned that a quiet, unnoticed existence suits me just fine. In a world where everyone craves the spotlight, I find solace in being the invisible observer.
The classroom buzzed with the usual gossip. “That girl has no self-respect,” one voice sneered. “How can she forget—” Another started, but I’d heard enough. I slid my earbuds in, trying to shut out the whispers, but snippets of their conversation still sliced through. “Behavior… something… small.” It was relentless.
I let my head rest on my desk, eyes partially open, watching Su-ae from the corner of my vision. Honestly, I had to agree with the whispers. How could she stay with Minu, who was more like a distant shadow than a caring boyfriend?
Just as I was drifting into my own thoughts, a commotion nearby drew my attention. Eunhyuk, with his usual air of confidence, was gripping another student’s arm. What was going on? I didn’t care enough to investigate further and settled back into my pretense of sleep.
Being a ghost at school has its perks. I get to watch everyone without ever getting involved. It’s a peaceful existence that I’ve grown to appreciate. At home, though, it’s a different story. My family sees me, sometimes more than I’d like.
I have older twin brothers, Jin-ho and Jin-woo. They’re fiercely protective, though sometimes their way of showing it can be a bit rough. They’ll back me up if I’m in trouble but won’t hesitate to tease me if I step out of line. Despite their tough love, I cherish them deeply.
Our family setup is unconventional. My mom is a high-powered lawyer who brings in the bulk of the money, while my dad is the stay-at-home parent. We’re comfortably off but not rolling in riches, which is why I sought out my own job.
That’s how I ended up working at a nearby convenience store. I slip into my uniform, don my glasses—my trusty disguise—and become just another employee. No one here knows me as the quiet girl from school or the youngest child at home; I’m just me.
Early March
The convenience store is my sanctuary. I slipped into my uniform, feeling the familiar comfort of anonymity. The name tag is the only thing that marks me out here.
“Hey, can you stock the shelves?” my manager called out.
“On it,” I said, grabbing a box and heading to the aisles. Stocking shelves is a calming ritual, a contrast to the noise of my thoughts.
As I worked, a familiar face appeared in the store—Eunhyuk. It was odd to see him here; he didn’t seem like the type to frequent convenience stores. Ra-im was with him, browsing the drinks. I didn’t expect to run into either of them.
“Hey,” Eunhyuk said, catching me off guard. “You work here?”
“Yeah,” I replied, trying to keep my cool. “Looking for something?”
He shook his head. “Just grabbing a snack. Didn’t expect to see you here.”
“Small world,” I muttered, turning back to my task. Eunhyuk lingered for a moment, his presence a curious anomaly in my otherwise mundane routine.
“You’re pretty quiet at school,” he remarked.
“Not much to say,” I replied. Why was he even talking to me?
He shrugged. “Fair enough. See you around.”
As he walked away, I couldn’t shake the flicker of curiosity. Eunhyuk is one of those students everyone knows about but doesn’t really interact with unless circumstances align. We’ve shared passing glances and distant nods, but our worlds never really intersected beyond these brief moments. I’m aware of his presence and his reputation, but our connection remains superficial, marked only by our occasional, minimal interactions.
I finished my shift, the encounter long gone from my mind. Home was a familiar chaos. My brothers greeted me with their usual mix of banter and affection.
“Hey, loser,” Jin-ho called out.
“Shut up,” I shot back, grinning despite myself. This was our way of showing we cared.
“Mom’s working late,” Jin-woo said. “Dad’s making dinner.”
“Great,” I replied, heading to the kitchen. My dad’s cooking was always a highlight of the day.
Sitting down for dinner, I felt a rare sense of contentment. Despite the complexities of life, I had a family that cared, a job that provided me with peace, and a quiet existence that was uniquely mine.

Planning to Buy in Hinjewadi? Here’s Why Krisala 41 Zoy Should Top Your List
Tumblr media
If you’re looking at Hinjewadi as your next neighborhood, you're probably aware of its exciting mix of urban convenience and relaxed suburban vibe. Being a resident here myself, I get why people are flocking to Hinjewadi. And if you’re looking for a standout residential project, Krisala 41 Zoy in Hinjewadi truly checks all the boxes.
1. Prime Location—It’s Close to Everything
One of the biggest perks of living at Krisala Zoy is the location. It’s right in the heart of Hinjewadi Phase 1, a stone’s throw away from the Pall Metro Station. Whether you’re commuting to Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, running errands, or catching up with friends, this area makes it a breeze. I can vouch for how easy it is to get around, with major roads and public transportation just minutes away.
Hinjewadi is already a hotspot for tech professionals, and being in such a prime location means Krisala 41 Zoy offers more than just a home; it’s an incredibly convenient lifestyle. You’ll have top-notch schools like BLISS International and shopping destinations, like D Mart, all within a quick drive.
2. Spacious, Modern Apartments to Match Your Lifestyle
Krisala 41 Zoy offers thoughtfully designed 2 & 3 BHK apartments that are both spacious and modern. I visited a model unit, and let me tell you, it’s impressive. The layout flows so naturally, and there’s enough room to set up a home office, a cozy reading nook, or even a little space for your hobbies. With Krisala Zoy, you’re getting the kind of space that complements how we live today—lots of natural light, well-ventilated rooms, and a modern layout that actually works.
And it’s not just about space; it’s about smartly used space. For example, every room feels open and airy, which isn’t always the case in high-rise buildings. You won’t feel boxed in, which I think is a huge bonus for those planning to work from home or just want a relaxed vibe.
3. Amenities That Elevate Everyday Living
Krisala 41 Zoy doesn’t skimp when it comes to amenities. You can unwind with a dip in the infinity pool after a long day, or clear your mind in the yoga center. There’s even a daycare on-site, which is fantastic for young families balancing work and kids.
The kids’ play area, jogging track, multipurpose court, and senior citizens’ area mean there’s something here for every age group. It’s like having a mini getaway right within your complex, where you can recharge without ever leaving home. There’s even an amphitheater for some laid-back weekend entertainment.
Honestly, I think the way Krisala Developers have planned the amenities shows how well they understand modern families. It’s rare to find a project that combines luxury with genuine practicality, but Krisala Zoy achieves that balance effortlessly.
4. A Perfect Blend of Peace and Connectivity
What’s unique about Krisala 41 Zoy Hinjewadi is how it manages to offer tranquility while being so well-connected. Hinjewadi is a bustling area, but Krisala Zoy feels like a peaceful retreat. When I visited, I was struck by how calm it felt despite being so close to the main hubs.
And connectivity isn’t just about location. Krisala 41 Zoy is built with a strong sense of community in mind. It’s easy to envision a lifestyle where your neighbors are friends, where the amenities double as social spaces, and where everything you need is at your fingertips.
5. Competitive Pricing for Quality Living
When you’re looking at properties, you know that great value is key, and Krisala Zoy Hinjewadi delivers on that front. Prices start from ₹80L for a 2 BHK and ₹1.07Cr for a 3 BHK, which, given the quality of construction and the host of amenities, makes it a great investment. Plus, you’re investing in a property by Krisala Developers, known for their reputation and high standards in Pune’s real estate market.
Compared to other developments, Krisala Zoy is priced competitively, especially for what it offers. When you factor in the prime location, spacious units, and impressive amenities, it becomes clear that this is a solid choice.
6. Why Krisala Zoy Should Be on Top of Your List
Living at Krisala 41 Zoy means stepping into a life where convenience, luxury, and community come together seamlessly. For those working in Hinjewadi’s IT hubs, you’ll love the easy commute. For families, the amenities provide endless entertainment and relaxation options. And for everyone, the apartments offer the perfect balance of modern design and homey comfort.
Krisala Zoy isn’t just another project in Hinjewadi; it’s a thoughtfully designed community that understands what we truly need in a home today. It’s practical, luxurious, and conveniently located—perfect for professionals, families, and anyone looking for a lifestyle upgrade.

If you are looking to adopt a puppy it is very important to find a reputable breeder.

Why Should You Adopt A Shih Poos Puppy?
Written below are five perks of adopting a Shih Poos Puppy:

Whether they sport the curly coat of a Poodle or the silky hair of a Shih Tzu, Shih Poos have a timeless appeal that turns heads wherever they go.
2. Hypo-Allergenic Coat
For individuals with allergies or sensitivities to pet dander, Shih Poos often offers a solution. Thanks to their Poodle genetics, many Shih Poos have a hypoallergenic coat that sheds minimally. A Cut Above the Rest
Chapter One || Chapter Two
Tumblr media
Warnings: Violence. Violence against women. It's nothing too severe though.
Song mood
Disclaimer: gif not mine. Found online, ask for credit, please.
Then
There was something so perfect at the start of today. The way the sun had slowly risen over the tops of the trees, the way the chickens gently clucked as they pecked at their food you had just thrown out for them, it was perfect.
A full and hearty breakfast was being prepared by the rest of your family, but with the days coming on sooner and so much warmer, you wanted the air. The winter had been cruel, much sickness had come about that year and you were so lucky to have the whole family.
Hay was being sorted out for the horses at the moment, the cows having already been fed. You had just flung a fork over before the first scream had violently rang through nature. Far enough away that at first you had merely thought it was a rooster in the distance shouting out his "good morning". There's not a single thought in your head about danger.
And then they scatter. The chickens had enough sense to realize that danger was near and you picked up on this. Ears perked towards the distance as the smell of smoke begins to fill your nostrils. Looking up, you see thick, black smoke climbing up towards the Gods. A hideous, ugly arm snaking to reach them and signal the intruders.
Horses hooves are the next sound you hear from the distance, closing in fast as they make their way to their next pitiful destination. Your parents were away in town and only aunties, uncles and grandparents remained with you, but it was far too late to signal your own warning because in minutes the beasts had made their way to your village. To your farm.
"Kill them all!" A harsh, deep voice comes to your ears as you scuttle back into the barn with your pitchfork in hand. Sweat had already been beaded on your forehead but it seemed to freeze on your skin that instant. You see men, around ten of them in total, as they dismount their panting horses and only then do you realize it's far too late to warn your family.
The house, close to you on any normal day, is the first and farthest thing they ransacked. A large gulp of drying saliva slides down your frightened throat as you watch the youngest of the women in the house be drug out by her long, blonde hair. Screams fill the air and only then do you turn into the far corner of the barn, by the hay, on top of the straw.
You know what they're doing... or going to do to her and tears sting your eyes at the thought of your closest aunt being violated for the sake of a king and his wish to conquer the land you call home.
Helplessness fills your core as men's shouting comes into the mix and you recognize the voice of your grandfather before a startling gurgling replaces words. Your bladder is on the brink of release out of fear but you manage to hold it, all the while keeping a hold of the pitchfork in your trembling hands.
"Check in the barn." Another voice fills the air and you try to shrink into the hay, try to blend in but you know your time is near. Heart pounding, you have never known fear and today you're filled.
Laughter, cruel in tune, calls into the air as another woman begins to scream. The men call out slurs, "Save some for me!", and you can only just hold back the vomit in your throat before footsteps begin cracking the straw in the barn.
Oh father, you plead in your head, fright taking place over the bravery you wish you had just then. You're young though, a fledgling in life still learning to fly from the coop. The nest, your home, was a place of safety. Until now.
You quiet your breathing as much as possible and look up from your shelter in the hay, seeing the back of a head. Long and auburn brown, plaited into a single braid down his back, his hair would be one of beauty in another life.
A single slice and your dairy cow goes down without a fight, without a hint to the end of her precious life. A solitary moment of peace follows after the body hits the straw flooring.
That's when you release your bladder, unwilling but the close proximity of this horrible man is too much. Embarrassment would never follow this moment.
The smell of fresh smoke fills your nose and you know that your house is gone, the people gone with it. Women's cries are all you hear now apart from the crackling of burning wood.
Footsteps, nearer now, and you shrink your body into the precious shield of straw and hay. Bales of it block the front of your body and, oh, if only you could bury yourself like the bugs do.
"What have we here?" The low voice of the braided man appears above you. With tear stained eyes you look up with defiance, as much as you could muster up, and decide then that you'll fight. Fight for your mother and aunties. For the men too old to fight.
"Are you planning on using that?" He asks in a sarcastically gentle tone before plucking the tool/weapon from your hands. Defenseless and at the whim of such cruel men, you can only dart your eyes back and forth, pleading for escape. Trapped and overwhelmingly alone do you finally lock eyes with the fiery blue in front of you. Another hard, dry swallow and you find your nerve, "I will die for my family. I will gladly die before you decide my fate."
A chuckle, low and deep and the man squares his shoulders. He continues to stare you down, taking in every inch of your body. He reaches down to smooth away a piece of hair from your forehead, what was he doing? Or getting ready to do?
The screaming is slowly fading outside. A sporadic yelp from a woman is all you can here after. A single tear is shed after such a sound and you-
"Brother?" A shout takes you back and a gasp comes quick from your mouth.
"Harald!" Another voice calls out for their leader.
The man, almost startled himself, looks back and stands to his full height, dropping the pitchfork. He looks down, watching as you shrink further away.
"Nothing in here." He finally calls before you watch his foot kick a bale of hay on top of you. A small "oof" escapes your mouth as you listen to footsteps retreating.
The only thing you can remember after that, is the sound of hooves galloping away.
"Harald..." You test the name out as you shakily stand up, "I will find you and I will repay you for saving me."

balance?
(peter parker x reader angst)
The word balance always made you think of Peter Parker, that annoying kid who always had the correct answer, put himself behind everyone else, and your best friend.
For one, his ability to balance on one finger on top of a New York building? Ridiculous. Two, he would balance chemical equations better than everyone you knew. Three, he was a balanced mix of perfect, perfect, and more perfect.
You? Balance wasn't quite for forte, but you weren't 100% left-footed. Of course, being a trained dancer had its perks, but you still ran into walls when lost in thought. Math and science equations? Not a chance. The third point was your flaw.
You struggled with identifying yourself as pretty. It wasn't your fault you thought that that way, and you knew it never would be. Everyone loved to "correct" those thoughts, especially Peter, but they didn't seem to disappear.
Naturally, you thought they would go away when you became a superhero. "Superheroes are flawless" is what everyone believes, but that was untrue. Example: Spider-Man has issues building trust with males because of his uncle's death. Maybe that was the reason why you were here now, laying in a hospital bed with ten different wires going in ten different directions.
The beeping from that stupid machine was killing your ears, the pillow was horrible, and you knew your family wouldn't come to see you. Body aches sat in your bones, deep where it couldn't be pinpointed, and your lip sat split with dried blood on it. The worst part was Peter's words ringing in your head from before the battle.
"She's just a great friend."
Instinctively, you went out and put yourself in the most dangerous battle you could find. As you went over why someone with the smarts you had would do that without thinking of long-term damage, you realized it was because you weren't afraid of dying. Not in a "wise-spirit" or "rebel" kind of way, but because you didn't think our death would matter if it did occur. Those thoughts had clouded sense, pinned down your brain, and suffocated it as you took repeated blows to your body and your chest. Still, as you sat in that uncomfortable bed, with those machines and that medicine, you didn't see the problem with it. You weren't afraid of dying despite fighting to impress Peter into liking you.
Until that persistent, annoying best friend of yours burst into your hospital room. He tripped over his untied shoe and right into the tiling floor, but he picked himself up to get closer to your bruised body. You didn't see the problem until those normally warm, brown eyes were red and puffy, leaking tears onto his face. You didn't understand the problem until the strong-willed and stubborn boy's knees nearly buckled underneath him. That, there, was where you realized that he, Peter Benjamin Parker, born just days before you, that you grew a larger-than-life friendship with (along with a crush), would have been lost without you.
"They told me you got hurt, told me you jumped into a fight you knew you couldn't handle. Why? Why would you do that? Are you okay? What happened?"
But as you sat there, staring into those beautiful brown eyes, watering with concern and worry, you finally felt fear. Panic clawed at your parched throat because you could tell his words were blending in your head. You were afraid of death again, afraid to be pulled into that dark abyss of uncertainty.
That didn't stop the poison. The poison, left untreated by the doctors because they didn't know about it. And it got worse, breaking your body down as the night grew darker and colder. The fear didn't stop the poison from taking your final breaths at 11:47 that night and last heartbeats at 11:48.
The fear didn't stop the poison from killing you and didn't leave Peter with answers he desperately wanted. He felt guilty like it was his words that killed you that night. He never learned about the strength you wanted to have to cup his face and whisper to him about your dumb decisions. He never learned about the cheesy valentine you were writing filled with move-references for him.

This isn't great, and doesn't really make sense, so I'm sorry. I just started writing and really couldn't stop myself.

A Thousand Words
read on AO3
Summary: “There are thousands of words in our language and yet I can’t think of just one to describe you,” Link blurted.
“I can describe you with one,” Zelda replied, unfazed.
“Really? What?”
“Awkward.”
Rating: G
Word count: 1400
Link, the Prince of Hyrule, was most widely known for his good looks and deep, rich voice, capable of persuading even the most daunting enemies into submission. He could command legions of men and was rumored to have seduced countless women.
With his golden crown settled atop his head of messy, dirty blonde locks, he swallowed as he looked himself up and down in the mirror. A tunic of deep maroon, embellished with jewels of varying color and embroidered with gold, made him appear much more confident than he truly was.
“What do you opinion? I mean, what’s your opinion?”
“Well, I do opinion that you look fine as usual,” Revali, Link’s trusty attendant and best friend, mocked. “Maybe tuck your shirt in more.”
“Sorry,” Link groaned. “I was gonna ask about what you think, but I was also gonna ask for your opinion, and then it just meshed together.”
“I know. Bad habit, right?”
“Yeah. Bad habit.”
In spite of his facade of seductive suaveness and general put-togetherness, Prince Link of Hyrule was a mess. A stammering, anxious, poor-postured mess.
“Stand straight,” Revali reminded. “Hunched over princes don’t get courted.”
“You don’t know that,” Link scoffed even as he straightened his back.
“It doesn’t matter, I suppose. You put on a pretty good show anyway.” Revali peeked out the door. “It’s time to go.”
The pair left the dressing room and navigated a series of doorways to the ballroom, just outside of which Revali made final adjustments on Link’s attire. The servants on either side of the grand doors pushed them open, revealing the prince to the ball attendants; nobles from around the kingdom gathered on the intricate marble floors dressed in their most expensive suits and gowns and Link had to swallow back a nervous squeak.
If his father had it his way, he would give an elaborate speech. Instead, his arrival was announced and he was set free on the ballroom floor, but not without Revali tagging closely behind. The prince winked at the women he passed, shook hands with men he didn’t know, and accepted drinks from rushing stewards. The real battle came when he had to dance with the noblewomen, for his feet were not sure of themselves and often got caught on their skirts.
When it became too much, the anxiety flooding his system, he abandoned his attendant with some chatty nobleman and escaped to the gardens outside. To say he was shocked at the sight of someone else sitting next to the fountain was an understatement.
“Hello?” he called, more a question than a greeting.
The woman at the fountain whipped around to face him. “Oh, hello.”
“What are you doing out here?”
“Taking a breather.”
“Me too,” he said. Hastily, he sat next to her at the fountain.
Her eyes were green and her hair was sunny even in the moonlight, beneath the thousands of stars in the sky and among the deep green trees surrounding them. The light blue of her dress was complemented by the same moonlight, illuminating her against the water.
“What’s your name?” she asked.
“Huh?”
“I asked you what your name is,” she repeated.
“Uh… Link. I’m Link.”
“Oh.” Quickly, she bowed her head. “I’m so sorry, I didn’t know.”
“It’s okay, really.” He placed a shaky hand on her shoulder. “What’s your name?”
“Zelda,” she responded, looking up. “I’m sorry again. I didn’t know you were the prince—I’ve never seen what you look like before.”
“It’s okay, really. Stop being apologizing.”
She blinked. Tilting her head, she asked, “What?”
“I— uh— I said stop apologizing.”
“No… You said ‘stop being apologizing.’” A smirk snuck onto her face. “Is the prince not as bewitching with his words as I so often hear?”
“Y-you… respond so boldly to the prince? Well, I should… have your head! Or something.” He muttered the last part.
Bursting into laughter, she swiped at the tears forming with a knuckle. “You’re not threatening even if you try.”
“I’m working on it.”
“I see.” She squinted at him. “Why are you so awkward in private? You’re quite confident among the masses.”
“It’s a facade,” he admitted.
“I believe that,” she said with a snicker. “I’m sorry. Perhaps I’m being too rude.”
“Not at all. I like it, actually.” He stared at his hands in his lap. “Honesty is refreshing.” He was a hypocrite, he knew, not being honest himself about his true personality. But who would follow a cowardly prince that stumbled over each word, tripped over each pebble? Nobody.
A breeze swept through the garden then, and Zelda rubbed her exposed arms. “It’s a little cold,” she said. “Could we head inside?”
“O-of course!” He hurried to his feet and offered his arm. “Milady.” He displayed an awkward, toothy smile. With a grimace, she told him it was alright and that she could walk on her own.
He found himself mesmerized by this mysterious woman. She carried herself with graceful elegance and her voice was as sweet as honey, despite the undignified things that came out of her mouth. Yet he found her a breath of fresh air from the normally stuffy language of the courts, in the way she wasn’t afraid to laugh crystal clear or keep up formal speech with him.
They settled down in the hallway outside the ballroom, where the chatter and music could be heard faintly through the walls but nobody was there to bother them. They spoke for hours, about their families and where they lived, and he learned she was a noblewoman from the east, around Hateno. Link wasn’t the only one surprised, though—Zelda, used to hearing the heroic tales of the prince’s refined chivalry, was left dumbfounded when he stumbled over his words—and his feet, when he tripped over a rock in the gardens—more than once.
His mouth hung agape when she absentmindedly flipped her hair over her shoulder. When she noticed, she waved a hand in front of his face. “Hello? Are you alright, Prince?”
Clearing his throat, he stammered, “Uh, yeah. I’m fine.”
“I would say you’re smitten with me,” she declared, and he couldn’t even force himself to close his mouth. The boldness she spoke with in private rivaled that of his public front.
He swallowed and looked down at his boots, one foot tapping nervously.
“There are thousands of words in our language and yet I can’t think of just one to describe you,” Link blurted.
“I can describe you with one,” Zelda replied, unfazed.
“Really? What?”
“Awkward.”
“Okay, well, I’m not,” he spluttered, scratching the back of his head. “I am actually quite smooth.”
She laughed out loud at that. “Oh, please. You almost fell over walking back to the ballroom.”
“Clumsy does not equal awkward,” he huffed. “There’s no correlation—”
“There is a correlation, actually.”
“Not always!”
She covered her mouth with a gloved hand and chuckled, causing him to do the same. He ran a hand through his hair and exhaled, leaning against a hallway pillar. His eyes settled on her form, on her light blue dress and golden hair, her soft green eyes and lips curled into a smile, and he realized that he did have one word to describe her:
Wow.
“Hm? Did you say something?” Zelda asked, eyebrows perked.
“Oh, I… I said that out loud, huh,” he muttered, partially to himself.
The noblewoman turned her head at the sound of muted footsteps, watching as people filtered out of the ballroom doors at the end of the corridor. He wiped the sweat off his forehead in relief that she’d quickly forgotten his blurting. She sighed and handed her champagne glass to him.
“Well,” she breathed, “it seems I have to go.”
“Oh.”
“Maybe next time I see you, you’ll be able to narrow it down to a thousand words.”
“Uh, yeah. Haha.” He swirled the glass around in his hand. “Goodbye.”
“Goodbye, Prince Link.” Turning to leave, she sent a deadly wink his way, almost causing his heart to stop. His attempt at winking back, which turned into a strained blink, sent her into a fit of giggles that she had to stifle before mixing back into the crowd of nobles. He watched her go, fabric swishing behind her, keeping his eyes on her blonde head even as it blended in with the other people. Still, his mind could only land on one word.
“Wow.”

[ Summary: End of School picnic preparations! ]
To celebrate the class’s successful final project, they were putting together plans for a large picnic in the park at the end of the last day of school. The last day wasn’t mandatory for students to attend unless they had work to catch up on or tests to make up. So Marinette was spending that time at home, busying herself in the upstairs kitchen, preparing food and treats.
A faint knocking sound distracted her a couple hours in, and after making sure she could walk away without anything burning, listened for the source. She gasped and smiled when she realized it was coming from above her, from her own room. The balcony! Chat must be here!
She ran up to her room and up to the lost, and sure enough, she could see Chat Blanc, seated on the balcony floor next to the trapdoor. She pushed it open quickly, and he perked up, his tail flicking and wings spreading out behind him excitedly.
“Princess! You came!” He smiled wide.
Marinette giggled and pulled herself up to sit next on the edge of the hatch. “But of course, I can’t just leave my Knight outside like a stray now can I?” He laughed at that and she hid her smile behind her hand. “So what are you doing here, gryphlet?”
“Well you see,” he flourished a hand dramatically as he spoke, “I heard that today of all days was your last day of collège, and I wanted to congratulate you. So here I am.”
She laughed and shook her head. “You sure it’s not because I'm cooking? If you heard about it being our last day, then there's no way you didn't hear that we’re planning a picnic later, too.”
He gasped dramatically, setting a clawed hand to his chest like he had been hurt. It did nothing to erase the cute smile on his face, though. “You doubt my intentions, Princess? Well, you are right to do so,” he sighed dramatically. “Indeed, I am not just here to congratulate and shower you in praise, but to rob you of your goodies. Forgive this dashing rogue of his glutinous ways?”
He fluttered his eyes at her, and she couldn't help but laugh. “You are forgiven, on one condition,” she raised her hand, index finger raised to indicate her one condition.
“Name it,” he leaned in, looking ready to do anything.
“Help me with the baking and cooking for later,” she stated simply with a coy smile. “You can eat a portion of anything you make yourself. That’s the means for you to get fed. Deal?”
“Deal!” He hopped to his feet with a big grin and she gently laughed, happy to see his energy. She led him back down into her room and then into the kitchen.
She quickly checked on everything, making sure nothing had burned while she was gone. Satisfied, she waved Chat Blanc to join her at the counter. His previously excited mood was replaced by slight nervousness. He looked unfamiliar with the layout, though his eyes sparked with curiosity. Marinette tried not to stare as she cleared her throat and started introducing him to the ingredients and tools. “Now, don’t touch anything just yet,” she added when she finished showing him around. “Cooking has ground rules you should always follow.”
“Like a chemistry lab?” His ears flicked and wings shuffled, and she giggled, nodding.
“Yep, just like a chemistry lab. First, let's get you an apron.” She grabbed one of the hooks by the stairs, and as she went to toss the neck strap over his head, she noticed the decal on the front. Kiss the Cook. She blushed and turned it backwards, swiftly putting it on Chat before he could see. Now the decal was hidden from view and she wouldn't have to think about it. She then went behind him to tie the waist strap, but paused as she looked at his wings in the way.
“Something wrong?” he asked, glancing over his shoulder.
“Your wings...These aprons are usually for my parents. I only use them when my wings are bound,” she said quietly, a bit awkward and unsure.
“Oh,” he replied softly. Her breath caught and she stepped back as his wings moved. They dropped slightly, only to completely fold up, pull against his back. He smiled at her gently over his shoulder. “Better? As long as you don’t tie it too tightly, I’ll be purrfectly comfortable like this.
Dropping her head to hide another blush, she nodded, coming closer and tying the apron. “So, uhm, next thing. Always keep your hands- uh, talons, washed.” He chuckled at her fumbled pun but nodded and went to the sink. She mentally facepalmed, knowing it would be awkward to wash gloves.
She carried on instructing him, meanwhile trying to keep to the edge of his vision until her flustering calmed down. She made sure he knew never to cross contaminate foods, to always clean the work area as they went, and continue to wash hands frequently. She scolded him when the oven timer went off and he almost reached in without proper hand protection. He was sheepish about it, but to her satisfaction, he didn’t make the mistake again.
At some point, she hadn't noticed the amount of flour dusting him because of how well it blended in. She only realized it when he had patted her head in reassurance that he could do a task without help now. The pat left a white handprint in her midnight hair, and she guffawed indignantly when she noticed it in her reflection on a mixing bowl. She didn’t bother trying to get it off, though, knowing it was pointless.
Finally, with quiche, pasta salad, croissants, and macaroons all done after a few more hours of working together, they were now sitting on the floor, waiting for the bread rolls to finish. The dishes and counters were already clean, the aprons were back where they belonged, and Marinette had even let out her wings to stretch them out alongside Chat Blanc’s. She tried not to think about their feathers brushing as they sat shoulder to shoulder, watching the oven like a pair of tired but happy hawks.
Chat started humming as they sat in comfortable silence, and she listened to the gentle sound. It was enhanced by a subtle purr, and she had to hold her breath to keep from giggling at the cuteness of the moment.
When he stopped, she asked in a whisper, “What song was that?”
“Hm? Oh,” he smiled softly and rubbed his neck. “A lullaby my mother used to sing. ‘Robin and his Maiden’. I made my own little parody of it not long after I got my Miraculous. Well, I only managed to do the first line, really, I'm stuck on the rest.”
Marinette sat up, attention caught. “Tell it to me, I want to hear.”
He hesitated, a blush under his mask indicating it was from shyness and not from doubt. “The original first line went like this: Little Robin on a roof, without his Maiden. The story is about Robin Hood and Maid Marian. Now I say it like this: Little Kitty on a roof, without his Lady.” Marinette giggled, realizing the comparison to her alter ego. “I’m stuck on the rest, because the story doesn't seem to quite fit with the changed names, you know?”
With a nod of understanding, she nudged his shoulder with her own. “Art is hard, I know. It’s okay to be stuck. You should try playing with the names a bit, maybe the rest will come to you along with fresh inspiration.”
He nodded and looked away, back to the oven as he began to hum again. Soon, the hums turned to words. “Little Gryphon on a roof, all alone without his Princess,” he gave a cheshire grin as she burst out in laughter and a fresh fluster. She pushed him over and he laughed as he flopped on the floor. She stood up and huffed, hiding her smile as she checked on the bread. The timer went off just in time, and, feeling satisfied with their golden brownness, she took them out and set them to cool on the counter.
She glanced at the clock and sighed. “Everything is done in time, that’s good. The picnic is in an hour.” She turned to Chat with a soft smile. “Without fail, I always end up late to meet-ups because I put way too much on my plate right before hand. Looks like I’ll be on time this year. I couldn't have done this without you, Blanc.”
He smiled back at her from his place on the floor, looking perfectly content to be there as he practically basked in her thanks. She laughed, feeling light and newly carefree. When they lulled back into comfortable silence, he sat up and looked at the clock himself. A sad smile replaced his normal one.
“Looks like I need to go before then. I have somewhere to be later, too.” He stood, brushing the last of the flour off his white suit, his wings fluttering as they too shook out little puffs of powder. Marinette nodded and joined him, leading him back upstairs and out onto her balcony.
“Thank you for stopping by, gryphlet. I had fun,” she looked away, smiling to herself. “And don’t forget these, your promised treats for helping.” She handed him a cardboard pastry box, containing a few of the goods they had made together.
He beamed at her as he accepted it, and then took her hand in his and bowed. “It was my pleasure, Princess.” He kissed the air above her knuckles and she giggled, struck breathless by his action. He straightened back up and let her go, smiling wide. “I’ll see you again soon.”
And just like that, he was leaping from her balcony and gliding away on wings that matched the sky and clouds.
It took her a little while to go back inside, having taken her time to be dazed as she processed the last few hours. Tikki had broken her out of it with barely restrained giggles and a reminder that they needed to get ready for the picnic with her class.
As expected, the hour passed by quickly after that, and with a little help from her parents, all of Marinette and Chat Blanc’s efforts were brought to the park and set out on tables alongside everyone else’s contributions.
Everyone in their class made it to the park, and a few had even dragged along some family members who were willing to celebrate with them. Many of them spent the whole picnic talking about the school year, and all the random moments that stuck in their minds. Hawkmoth and some Akumas were brought up at some point, and almost half an hour was subsequently spent on everyone acting out each other's Akumatized versions in light and welcomed jest.
When it all started to dwindle to a close, everyone spent time making summer plans together and discussing which lycées they were going to. It was sad to think that their group, together for four years strong, was going to be split up. Luckily, everyone had plans to join extracurricular school groups that were likely to have them meeting up just as often as before. Even their humanitarian projects like planting public trees and gardens was something they were excited to continue.
If anything, they all knew that distance wasn’t going to make their bonds any lesser.
And so, all in all, Marinette had a good time, and she felt ready to keep going into the future.

I was wondering if you could write something where Harry’s wife tells him she doesn’t want him in the delivery room when she gives birth. She figures having maybe Gemma or Anne with her. She comes from a family of women, so she just doesn’t think she needs him. Harry’s left torn between agreeing with her because it’s her choice and absolutely broken up over it, because he wants to witness his first child come into the world. In the end she chooses to have him by her side. 🌻💛🌻

Tumblr media
Harry found her by the pool, her already glowing body veiled by a thin layer of sweat. Her sun-kissed legs were crossed one another, body completely bare sans the skimpy swimsuit that she only wore at home due to her current situation. She was nearly 7 months pregnant with hers and Harry’s first child, having gotten to the point where even the thought of leaving the house exhausted her. Knowing this, it made sense to Harry as to why he found her in such an unusual place when he came home from his workout at the gym. She’d always claimed that the hated the oversized pool that took up room for a potential garden in the backyard of their home, so she was rarely seen dipping her toes in the cool, blue water. Harry supposed her cabin fever had gotten the best of her and she’d had to find new ways to entertain herself whilst they both waited anxiously for their baby to arrive.
He could see her through the large, glass windows that faced the backyard, her cell phone perched in one hand while she rubbed absent-minded circles around her swollen bump with the other. Sounds of her sweet, cherubic laugh trailed in through the cracks of the french doors, immediately warming Harry’s chest and causing him to smile in a way that showed off his cavernous dimples. This pregnancy had brought a lot of emotional turmoil in terms of the way her hormones would render her depressed and misanthropic for weeks at a time in some cases, then bouncy and cheery the next as if nothing had been wrong. Harry supposed today had been one of those good days.
It came as second nature to him to make a double batch of the smoothie he routinely drank after he exercised. He’d found out early on in her pregnancy that she’d always try to sneak sips of the sweet, fruity blend due to her new cravings, so he’d eventually just started making two drinks each time to satisfy them both. As he juggled the two glasses in his large, ringed hands, he slid open the door with the full intention of joining her in her sunbathing escapades to cool down after his intensive workout. Maybe he’d even convince her to stick her feet over the edge while he swam a few laps around her. That was until he’d caught the tail-end of the sentence that she’d muttered to whoever was on the other end of her phone line.
“…I was just thinking maybe you or Anne in the room during the delivery, and then Harry can come in and see the baby right after.”
Harry felt his heart sink into his arse at what he’d overheard, almost in disbelief at what he’d just heard her say. Surely, he’d missed a key part of this conversation and the tidbit he’d just stumbled upon was not her saying that she didn’t want Harry by her side when she gave birth to their first child. They’d never discussed it, but he’d always been under the assumption that he’d be right there next to her, holding her hand as their son or daughter made their appearance into the world. However, Harry couldn’t shake the feeling like that was exactly what she had just said.
“Yeah, totally. And then- Oh! Hi, Harry!” She stopped mid-sentence and perked up upon realizing her husband was home.
Harry smiles cheesily back at her, though there was a hint of disappointment in his expression. She was too entranced in her conversation to notice.
“Brought ye’ a smoothie,” Harry raised the glass towards his face to show off the perspiring glass of blended fruit and protein powder.
She wiggles her toes in excitement, the shiny lilac polish gleaming in the sunlight. Harry had painted them for her last week, her having been too far along in her pregnancy to reach her own toes. He always did little things like this for her so she could feel beautiful no matter how atrocious she was convinced she looked in her state. If it were up to Harry, he’d keep her like this for as long as possible; he had fallen in love with her ten times over since she’d been pregnant.
“Thank you, lovie. Gemma’s on the line. She says hi. And also that she’s still your mum’s favorite,” she said to Harry as she pulled the phone slightly away from her ear.
Harry couldn’t help but chuckle at his older sister’s immature banter as he sat the smoothie down next to his wife and leaned down to press a kiss to her damp hair.
He spoke clearly into the speaker so that Gemma was certain to hear him, “Just wait until the baby gets here. Then mum won’t give a shit about either of us.”
Harry didn’t hear Gemma’s snarky response, but he did hear her laugh loudly on the other end mixed with his wife’s own sweet giggles. He gave her bump a few pats with his hand that was cold from holding the glass and silently gestured to her that he was headed back inside. What he had overheard on the phone had killed his desire to lounge in the pool with his wife. He needed to be alone, whether it was to come up with a way to convince her otherwise or simply sulk about in his misery. His wife blew him a kiss which he subsequently pretended to catch and stuff in his hoddie pocket before ducking back into the house.
Whilst Harry was washing off in the shower, his mind was racing. Did she really not want him in the delivery room with her? It was his child, for christ’s sake! Of course he wanted to be there, more than anything, to be there when their baby took their first breaths, when they came out covered in goo and kicking and screaming. All Harry had ever wanted was a family to call his own, and now that it was within arm’s reach, he wanted to experience it all.
Of course, she was going to be the one quite literally pushing a life force out of her body, therefore Harry had no say in the matter. At the end of the day, even if his future efforts to convince her otherwise were unsuccessful, it was her choice and Harry would have to respect that. It just struck him right through his core to think that his own wife didn’t want him there beside her as she gave birth.
Amidst his racing thoughts, he’d lost track of time. The water had since run lukewarm, but he didn’t realize this until he heard the creak of the steamy shower door open and saw his pregnant wife step inside, still dressed in the skimpy swimsuit that she wore when she didn’t want any tan lines.
“Stealing all of the hot water now, aren’t you?” she teased as she stripped herself of the sopping wet material, then tossed it halfhazardly into the corner of the large, stand-in shower.
Harry mumbled a quiet, “Sorry,” before stepping out of the way of the faucet to let her rinse off.
“‘S alright. I’m still pretty warm from being outside,” she reassured him as she worked shampoo through her dripping locks, “Everything alright?”
“Ye’, why wouldn’t it be?” Harry answered his wife’s question, though he knew that wasn’t the truth and he couldn’t hold eye contact with her so he opted to watch as the soap suds ran from her scalp and down around her belly.
“Just seem kinda off is all,” she dismissed her quandaries and reached for the conditioner.
“‘M fine,” Harry lied again, “Wha’ were ye’ talkin’ to Gem about?”
“Oh, just baby stuff. She wanted to know if we’d decided on a theme for the nursery yet so she could start buying us gifts and then we just ended up talking for a while.”
Harry nodded silently as he worked a foaming cleanser into his skin, waiting until she was done rinsing her hair to take his turn back under the running water. He could say something, he really could. He knew that he should, because communication was key and he needed to be prepared for the heartbreak he’d experience when she told him that she didn’t want him in the delivery room with her. But he was nervous, scared almost. It was as if he actually didn’t want to know how she felt and would rather just forget the whole thing happened. However, now was not the time to be cowardly. This was his child and if he wasn’t willing to talk openly with his wife about how they’d approach the situation, maybe he wasn’t really ready to be a father after all.
“Did I overhear you tellin’ Gemma you don’t want me in the delivery room with ye’?”
She stopped running the silky soap through the ends of her hair to look at Harry directly.
“What do you mean?”
“I heard you say somethin’ about mum bein’ in the delivery room with ye’ and then me comin’ in right after. Do ye’ not want me in there?”
Harry’s voice sounded trembled as if he didn’t want to hear her answer his question. She finally picked up on his trepidation, and the look on her face was one of confusion.
“Harry I…I didn’t say that,” she was merely at a loss for words.
“Ye’ kinda did. Heard ye’ say it,” Harry snided.
“I didn’t say I didn’t want you in the room, Harry. My family’s always had only the girls in the delivery room. I just figured I’d do the same. Plus, I didn’t know you even wanted to be there.”
“Of course I want to be there,” Harry stressed, “‘s my baby for cryin’ out loud.”
Right then, she felt an intense flutter in her abdomen that caused her to cup her bump with her arm. This baby sure did love the sound of their father’s voice. Nothing was said between them, only awkward, unbearable silence. The water suddenly felt ice cold, raising chillbumps all up and down her arms and legs. Was Harry mad at her? She didn’t know. There was no malice with her intentions to give birth to their child without Harry in the delivery room, she genuinely hadn’t thought twice about it; it’s how she had been raised to believe how a woman should give birth, with strong women by their side. He was looking at her with glassy eyes like she had utterly broken him and caused irrepairable damage and it made her heart feel heavier than the weight of her baby bump that killed her lower back.
“I didn’t know, Harry,” she whispered, barely audible over the hissing of the faucet.
“Kinda common sense, now, innit? ‘S fine. ‘S your body.”
Harry quickly rid himself of any soap residue and left his wife alone in the ice cold shower before she could say another word. He left her the fluffier, more comfortable towel that he’d chosen for himself, because that’s just who he is.
//
He avoided her for the rest of the evening. He shut himself in his office for the better part of nearly three hours, hoping to turn his feelings into art and potentionally crank out a verse or two. The thoughts buzzing in his head were far too loud to concentrate on any chord or key, so he turned to answering emails, still not coming out of the room to resolve the argument he’d had with his wife in the shower. He wasn’t even sure what to say, or if there was anything to say at all.
She’d done the same, cooping herself up in their bedroom and taking a nap instead of finding Harry and demanding that they squash this immediately. She was so startled over the entire thing, having been bombarded with more information than she could handle. It hurt her to know that she’d hurt Harry, but at the same time she believed she hadn’t done anything wrong. This was clearly miscommunication on the most basic level, though it didn’t make her feel any better having realized that. Uneasiness settled deep into her bones as she drifted off into a light, relaxing slumber.
//
Harry tossed the garlic around in the pan with a wooden spoon blindly, only cooking to fill his stomach and not to enjoy it. It was her favorite meal, so he’d figured she’d enjoy the leftovers, at least. His mind kept drifting off to two months down the road, when his baby would be arriving in the sterile, chilly delivery room whilst he, on the other hand, wouldn’t be there to see it.
He nearly jumped out of his skin when he felt two arms wrap around his middle and a protruding bump poke him in the small of his back.
“‘M sorry,” her voice sounded muffled from where she was talking into his shirt.
Harry reduced the heat on the stove and turned around in her grasp to face her. He took her head in both of his hands, forcing her to look at him when she spoke.
“‘S okay. It’s your choice. I didn’t mean t’ upset ye’.”
“No, H. It’s not okay,” she couldn’t stop the hormonal tears from pooling in her eyes and running down her cheeks that were still warm from the nap she’d taken, “I should have asked you what you wanted. It’s your baby too. I just wasn’t thinking. I don’t you to be mad at me.”
Harry wiped her tears away with the pads of his thumbs, hating to see her cry like this.
“I’m not mad at ye’, love. Just caught me off guard. I’m fine now. I’ll wait outside the delivery room if that’s what ye’ want.”
He really hoped that wasn’t what she wanted, but he knew it was the right thing to do. After a long pause of her collecting her breath and nuzzling into Harry’s soothing touch, she found her words once more.
“It’s not what I want. I want you there. Beside me. Holding my hand when our baby gets here.”
This time it was Harry that started to cry, though he didn’t let her see the salty tears fall becaues he burried his head into the crook of her neck and held her in the dimly lit kitchen they stood in. All she could hear were his sniffles and his rapidly beating heart through is chest.
“I love you,” Harry mumbled into her neck, tickling her sensitive skin.
“I love you, too. So fucking much, Harry,” she gave his abdomen a tight embrace before pulling back.
“But promise me you’ll still want me after you see the baby come out of me. I’ve seen it before and it is not pretty.”
Harry choked on his remaining tears as a laugh roared through his chest. He wiped the wetness from his face with the sleeve of his sweatshirt.
“’M only gonna want ye’ more after that. Promise,” Harry then raised his left pinky towards her in sincerity, the wedding band on his ring glimmering in the stovetop light.
