okay but a verse where clara keeps the tardis after me decides that she wants to settle down (or something happens to her) and gallifrey is... y'know, no more. so she travels the world trying to catch the moments of invasion where the doctor doesn't. staying stuck in her last ever second, the infinite long way round. never aging, no heartbeat, but she is doing her best to live an adventure the way the doctor taught her. she's on borrowed time and her debt is overdue but no one has come to collect because the current showrunner once again made gallifrey go bye-bye.
