alright.... SO. since there has been.... a very big influx of people asking for Fake Peppino hugs. i have taken the liberty of making this easier for myself and shoved them all into (mostly) one drawing!! hooray!!!

Afternoon sunlight filtered through an old set of blinds, falling onto the sleeping figure of a portly middle-aged Italian man. He’d been snoring away peacefully, rousing as the light slowly angled to hit his face.

With a wide yawn, Peppino awoke feeling well rested. Despite how good he felt, that was the first sign something was off.

He was pleasantly surprised to not be jolted awake by the shrill sound of his alarm, the damned thing likely shortening his lifespan with all the heart attacks it gave him, and yet, it kept him from sleeping in far too late. It wasn’t good to be late for your own restaurant, especially when you worked opening.

Must've gotten lucky and slept well last night, woken up naturally before his alarm. A real miracle.

Taking a moment to stretch first, he glanced over at his alarm clock to check the time, only to immediately realize something was wrong.

His alarm clock was off. The usually dimly lit red numbers were gone, the lights dead and blank.

Peppino found himself quickly socked in the gut with a feeling of dread.

Had there been a power outage? Did the thing finally die after he'd violently hit the snooze button one too many times? And what time was it!?
