That peaceful moment, between sleep and wakefulness.

That quiet solitude that is neither lonely nor sad. It's just you and the sun, slowly creeping up the sky to give you another chance at life.

Few takes from the last month to keep me going on the next:

1. People will always see your worth. Hard and honest work is always rewarded in the end. Keep going. Keep hustling. (Thanks for the overwhelming opportunities, big bosses!)

2. Remember, you are enough.. Not everyone will appreciate all that you do, but the right ones will always cheer on you, and thank you just for being you.

3. Never expect anything. Just because you give it your all, doesn't mean they'll do the same for you.

4. Set boundaries. Have the courage to always walk away from things that affect your mental health.

5. Sometimes, you can only do so much.

6. Let life run it's course. Everything happens for a reason in the end.

7. Make a choice and deal with it. If it felt right the first time, then it probably is.

8. Sometimes, you are forced to deal with people whose values are different from you. Never lose sight of your true self.

9. Try not to repeat the same mistakes, even for different reasons.

10. People have already made assumptions about you even before you tell your side of the story. So, don't bother explaining.

11. Protect your peace. Always. ✨️

Not Your Kinda Girl♥

I know that I’m not a supermodel-type of girl. I’m not petite. I am more of a voluptuous type. I don’t have a perfect hair—mine mess-up a lot. And most days, it doesn’t fall out right. I don’t have pretty dress, designer bags and shoes. I dress up based on comfort, and seldom goes by the trend. I love the colors of black and red, because they enhance my complexion. I am picky, perfectionist, and sometimes OC. I have a list of my own rules and standards, and I exempt only those who are worthy. I am bad-tempered when I’m not in the mood, but I can lengthen my patience if I choose to. I am “mataray” and “maldita”—I never deny that, because that’s part of the person that I am. I am mean and I can be a total bitch* if I have to. You see, I am not your perfect kind of girl. I mess up a lot! I can break hearts in a snap, but I can mend one with a laugh*. I can be kind. I seldom make judgment if I know that I am in no position to make one. I make mistakes—a lot. But I know how to forgive, as long as I can…with or without apologies uttered*. I give chances—always, if you ask for one. I give my trust completely. But if you break it, then it’s gone. But if you can mend that trust, then it’s going to be a gift—don’t waste that chance*.

When I love someone—people—like family and friends, I take care of them…make sure they’re fine. Wipe their tears, laugh with their hearts out, and give them a shoulder to lean on…with our home always open…and TIME to spend with them. I devote myself to people I love*… hate those who hurt them, and thank those who make them smileJ I know I’m not perfect, because no one is. But if you give me chance…and try to know me…maybe, just maybe—you’ll fall in love with the imperfect ME♥ *
