       It was quite a complicated question in the sense that it was rather hard to answer. For one, it could be answered in two ways: the obvious and the alternate solution, but the question was so vague and direct all at the same time that Touko had to take a moment before answering  — something that was rather unusual, but not to the point where it’s never happened before.

The archer regards the other, her quiet demeanor and stand offishness reminding him of that dark being who he once knew oh so many years ago. Once upon a time, such a person would be one he’d stay away from, but... oh, who is he kidding? Shinji was that way too and he got along with him as well... once upon a time. This being should be no different.

Besides, he’s too bull headed to let something as common sense tell him who he should and shouldn’t interact with. He’s often found there’s a softer side to these stand offish, scary beings if someone is only willing to give them the chance and work with them. He doubts this one is any different in such a regard.

“A woman of few words, I see,” he says, regarding the other with a grin as he offers his hand to her. “I am Shirou Emiya. Who might you be?”

Fluctuating between the fashionable and the simple, Touko’s fashion sense is highly diverse throughout the various media that she has been portrayed in. The style that she’s stuck to most of the time would be the simplest yet; a white, long-sleeved blouse or collared-button-up accompanying black slacks are always the best articles of clothing for every occasion. According to canon, despite Touko hating the color orange, she will unfailingly have at least one orange-colored accessory with her getup (e.g. her orange pendant necklace and her equally orange briefcase in Kara no Kyoukai). 

When it comes to special occasions, it largely depends on the venue; a simple congratulatory dinner would have her wearing the quintessential little black dress with pearls ala Breakfast at Tiffany’s (sans gloves: Mirai Fukuin), whereas in the party hosting the Iselmas at the Clock Tower, she goes for a flashier yet highly fashionable blue dress that’s reminiscent of seasonal runway exhibits from high-profiled designers. What stays with her are her glasses (which serve as her Mystic Eye killers), her ponytail hairstyle (high in Kara no Kyoukai, low in Lord El-Melloi II Case Files), her orange longcoat and her briefcase; practical constants suited to her tastes.
